1 Before use
1-1 OPERATION
1.1 The microscope should be set in dry and clean place. Do not expose in the sun directly and
avoid high temperature and violent vibration.
1.2 As the microscope is precision instruments, it should be taken carefully and avoid impact during
transportation.
1.3 To keep the image clearly, do not leave finger prints or stains on lens.
1.4 Do not adjust the right and left focusing knob to opposite direction simultaneity, otherwise it
will with trouble.
1-2 MAINTENANCE
1.1 All lenses should be kept cleanly. Use air or lens cloth to clear dust; Use cotton pledged with 3:7
ethanol and anther mixed to clear spot and fingerprint.
1.2 Never use organic solution to clean the surface of microscope, especially the plastic parts. If
necessary, please choose neutral detergent.
1.3 Do not disassemble or assemble the microscope yourself to avoid damaging the capability.
1.4 After using, put on dust cover to protect microscope and put in dry place to prevent rust.
1.5 Please inspect the microscope regularly to keep it well. ( You can ask for agency nearby)

4 Operation
4-1Use glass stage (一) Take out from the sunken place.(Fig 1)
4-2Adjust tightness of focusing
1. Hold one knob and turn another to adjust. The clockwise direction is for
tight and counter-clockwise direction for loose. (Fig 2)
2. The suitable position of tightness can make the adjustment more
comfortable and prevent the focusing arm slipping down by its weight
during the observation.
4-3Set the specimen slides
1. Set the specimen on the center of stage plate. If necessary, clamp the
slide with the clips.
2. Turn on the light.
4-4Adjust diopter
1. Turn the zoom knob to the maximum magnification.
2. Turn diopter adjusting ring to “0”.
3. Look through the right eyepiece and adjust focusing arm to make image
clear.
4. Turn the zoom knob to minimum magnification.

6. Repeat above step3,4,5 till the image clear.
7. Turn the zoom knob to minimum and look through the left eyepiece and adjust the left diopter ring to
make the image clear. (Fig 3)
4-5Adjust interpapillary distance
Hold both eyepiece tube and slide as to comfortable position.

4-6 Use the eyepiece cap
For user who does not wear glasses, put the eyepiece cap on eyepiece.
For user who wear glasses, put the eyepiece cap on and turn it over. (Fig
5)

4-7 Mount and remove the micrometer from eyepiece
Take off the mounting ring from eyepiece. (Fig6)
Clean the micrometer, then put it into the mounting ring and make the
inscription side up. (Fig 6)
Put the mounting ring into eyepiece gently.
To remove the micrometer, take off the mounting ring first. Then take out
the micrometer and wrap by clean paper.
4-8 Mount the illuminator
1. Insert the electronic line into the socket on the pole. (Fig 7)
4-9 Mount the photo device
Put the photo eyepiece into tri-tube.
Cover the photo tube on tri-tube and lock by thelock screw. (Fig 8)
4-10 Adjust of CTV
1. Adjust the CTV to a suitable position by rotating C-mount. (Fig 9) Note:
The adjustment range is 1~2mm in generally.
4-11 Adjust of brightness of bottom light
Turn the knob ①to adjustment brightness. Clockwise direction is for
bright and counter-clockwise for dark.. (Fig 10)
4-12 Replace the fuse
Use screwdriver to take off the fuse. (Fig 11）
Replace a new one and screw in.

8Troubleshooting
The performance of the microscope can’t be made fully because of unfamiliar using, this table will
give some advices:
