Prerequisites and Approvals
Orbital Shower is designed and type approved according to
the Swedish requirements in Swedish National Board of
Housing and Building & Planning regulations (BBR). The
system is type approved according to RiSE (Research
Institutes of Sweden AB) with Type Approval Certificate
C900373 & C900374. Orbital Shower is CE-marked based
on test reports from third party labs.
If industry regulations and instructions in this manual are
followed, Orbital Systems guarantees a functional shower
system.

Warranty
The Orbital Shower and its components are
manufactured from high-quality materials and
assembled under strict standards.
Orbital Systems warranty covers defects which appear within
a period of 2 years from delivery of the product or as long as
the extended warranty period bought or included in the
purchase.
Orbital Systems warranty does not cover:
•Defects arising out of materials or a design specified by the
Customer, or by any alterations carried out without our
consent.
•Defects that appear under conditions of operation not
provided for and under improper use of the product.
•Defects caused by faulty or non-occurring maintenance,
incorrect installation or a faulty repair.
For showers outside of the warranty period spare parts are
available for purchase directly from Orbital Systems.

Orbital Systems and our team of expert staff are available to
assist you if you require product advice, experience any
problems, need to purchase spare parts or to set up a
service appointment.
Repairs should only be carried out by Orbital Systems.

Installation Requirements
Connectivity
Internet connection: Either password protected 2,4 GHz / 5 GHz Wi-Fi network or
Ethernet is required.
Ethernet is a factory added option. It is not possible to use Wi-Fi as
connection method after the shower has been prepared for Ethernet.
Electrical Supply
Residual circuit breaker: One breaker per Shower Core
Power supply: One Phase, 240VAC / 50 Hz / 16A
Mains supply wire: Min. 2.5 mm2 (rated for 16A circuit)
Plumbing / Water
Incoming water supply connections: Separate hot and cold, 2x female G 1/2" swivel nut
Incoming cold water temp. (min-max): 4-25°C
Incoming hot water temp. (min-max): 50-65°C
Incoming water pressure (min-max): 2-10 bar
The supply pressure is the fundamental requirement for the shower
flow:
•2 bar: 7.5 litres/min
•3 bar: 9.5 litres/min
•4 bar: 11 litres/min
Recommended water supply flow: 9 litres/minute per inlet hot and cold
Water hardness (min-max): Minimum: 3°dH-10°dH
Recommended: 6°dH-10°dH (or a total hardness of 110-180mg
CaCO3/litre)
Water iron content: <0,3mg/litre

1. Mark the finished floor height where it is level (>170
mm). This mark will be used as measurement "X" in the
installation process to ensure that there is enough space
for the Drain Unit.
