A. GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
This product is a fixation device to attach the Sagittilt®Prone
Breast Solution to a Varian IGRT couch top with the Exact type
indexing.
B. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This fixation device features two positioning elements that can
be inserted in the half-moon cut-outs on both sides of the Varian
IGRT couch. It also features two pins on top that are used to
index the Sagittilt®Prone Breast Solution directly to the couch.
Information on the Sagittilt®Prone Breast Solution can be found
in the respective ‘instructions for use’.
C. POSITIONING ON A COUCH
The two round positioning elements of this fixation device fit
directly in the cut-outs of the Varian IGRT couch. The bar has an
offset of 20mm which should be placed towards the cranial end
of the couch to make sure the caudal part of the Sagittilt®Prone
Breast Solution fits completely on the table.
To position this 2-pin bar on theVarian IGRT couch, gently push
the bar with its two indexing elements into a set of couch cut-
outs. The bar itself should now be flat on the surface of the
couch. Always make sure that the bar is well positioned on the
couch before positioning the Sagittilt®Prone Breast Solution
over the 2-pin bar.
To remove the bar, hold the two ends of the bar and pull the bar
away from the couch.
To assist in mounting the Sagittilt®onto the couch:
Mount the first 2-pin bar into the 7th indexing cut-out of
the Varian IGRT couch, starting from the caudal side.
Mount the second 2-pin bar on the couch so you can
count 5 couch indexing cut-outs between them. This
way, both 2-pins bars are positioned at the correct
distance from each other to match the entire Sagittilt®
setup.
Use the markings on the 2-pin bar to easily align the
Sagittilt®.

D. STORAGE
Always store the product in a safe place to prevent it from getting
damaged.
Store the product between +10°C (50°F) and 40°C (122°F).

F. MAINTENANCE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT
This product can be cleaned and disinfected by means of soapy
water or an isopropanol based disinfectant, applied with a soft
cloth. If unsure about the cleaning fluid, do not use. Never use
aerosol sprays, corrosive cleaning agents, solvents or
abrasive detergents.
Periodic checks of the product shouldbe done to insure theparts
are not worn and require repair or replacement. Do not attempt
to make repairs yourself. Contact your distributor if there are
any questions or concerns.
The product can be disposed of with household waste.
