IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your Hand Blender, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR HAND BLENDER.
1. Always operate the Hand Blender from power source of the same voltage, frequency and
rating as indicated on the product identication plate.
2. Close supervision is necessary when Hand Blender is used by or near children, or
incapacitated persons. DO NOT allow children to use it as a toy.
3. DO NOT operate Hand Blender with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunctions or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest Oster Authorized Service Center for examination, repair or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
4. DO NOT twist, kink or wrap the power cord around the appliance as this may cause the
insulation to weaken and split particularly where it enters the unit.
5. To protect against risk of electrical shock, DO NOT put Hand Blender motor in water or
other liquid. This may cause personal injury and/or damage to the product.
6. After each operation, allow the Hand Blender to cool for 3 minutes before using it again.
7. DO NOT process food containing hard objects that cannot be safely broken up by the
blade.
8. To protect against re, DO NOT operate the unit in the presence of explosive and/or
ammable fumes.
9.This Hand Blender should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub,
washbowls, swimming pool, etc., where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could
occur.
10. Switch off and unplug from outlet while not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and
before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug; DO NOT pull on the cord.
11. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other
utensils away from blade during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or
damage to the Hand Blender. A spatula or scraper may be used when the appliance is not
in operation.
12. When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall container or make small quantities at
a time to reduce spillage.
13. DO NOT place Hand Blender on or near a hot burner or in a heated oven.
14. DO NOT use over a stove or other heat source. When mixing soups or other hot foods or
liquids, remove the saucepan from the heat source before using the Hand Blender.
15. This appliance is NOT intended to chop ice. Add ice to beverage after blending.
16. Blades are sharp. Handle with extreme care.
17. DO NOT use Hand Blender for other than its intended use.
18. DO NOT leave Hand Blender unattended while it is operating.
19. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by manufacturer may cause re,
electrical shock or injury.
20. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or countertop.
21. DO NOT use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
22. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
are supervised and have been given instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
23. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children, or
incapacitated individuals.
24. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.

SHORT POWER SUPPLY CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used if care is exercised
in its use. If an extension cord is used, the electrical rating of the cord must be at least as
great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should be arranged so that
it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
over unintentionally.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
Read and follow all the instructions and nd a place to keep this instruction manual ready for
future reference.
Before using your appliance for the rst time, clean the unit. With the appliance unplugged,
remove all detachable parts according to the CARE AND CLEANING section.
NOTE: The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause
re, electrical shock, injury or damage to the product. Blades and chipping/slicing disc are
very sharp, handle with care.
USING THE APPLIANCE
The appliance includes different attachments for a variety of usage for blending, chopping, whisking,
etc. To lock and unlock the motor housing with different attachments, follow the below instructions:
To Lock: Hold the Motor Housing in the right hand and the attachment (Blade Housing, the
Chop Housing, the Whisk or the Potato Masher Shaft) in the left. Attach the Motor Housing
up to the Blade Housing, the Chopping Bowl, Whisk or Potato Masher. Align the triangle mark
on Motor Housing with the lock ( )/unlock ( ) mark on the attachment housing, and rotate from
unlock ( ) to lock ( ) position. The assembly locks rmly.
To Unlock: Hold the Motor Housing in the right hand and the attachment (Blade Housing, the
Chopping Bowl, Whisk or Potato Masher) in the left. Rotate the Motor Housing from lock ( ) to
unlock ( ) position to separate the units.
TO OPERATE THE BLENDING ATTACHMENT
• Place dual purpose lid on the bottom of the
Mixing/Measuring Cup for added stability.
• Lock the Motor Housing with the Blending
SHAFT/BLADE HOUSING, turn from unlock
() to lock ( ) position to lock in place.
• Peel and cut fruit/food ingredients into small
cubes (less than 15mm on each side) into
the cup. Add certain amount of puried water
to facilitate smooth blending. Recommended
proportion of food and water is 2:3. The amount
of ingredients should not exceed the maximum
capacity of the cup (700ml).
• Immerse the Blade Housing completely into
ingredients.
• Press the High or Low speed and begin
mixing ingredients by moving the appliance up
and down and in circles. When Low speed is
selected, adjust the Speed Control Dial on top
of the motor housing for more precise speed.
For continuous mixing, maintain pressure on
button for a maximum of 1 minute (maximum
continuous blending time at High speed
setting should not exceed 30 seconds).
• Hold the Hand Blender rmly.
NOTE: During mixing, it is normal for suction to be created at the bottom of the container
• When desired consistency has been reached, release Button and lift the Hand Blender from
mixture. To prevent splashing, always release Button before removing Hand Blender from
ingredients.
CAUTION: To extend the life of this appliance, never let it operate continuously for more
than 1 minute at a time. After 1 minute of continuous operation, release Button and let
appliance rest for 3 minutes before using it again.
WARNING: Do not use Hand Blender in saucepan directly on stovetop. Remove pan from
heat before mixing.
MIXING/MEASURING CUP INFORMATION
• The lid can be easily used as a cover for storage.
• For added stability, use the dual purpose lid on the base of the Mixing/Measuring Cup.
• The Cup which is included with your Hand Blender functions as a mixing cup, a measuring
cup and can also be used for storage.

REMOVAL OF BLENDER SHAFT
Grasp blender shaft rmly and rotate Motor Housing from lock ( ) to unlock ( ) position to unlock.
The chopper accessory is ideal for chopping a wide range of vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, etc.
1. Using Chopping Blade:
• Insert Chopping Blade into the Chopping Bowl
• For best results, cut large ingredients into pieces of approximately 15mm cubed before
chopping, Add certain amount of puried water to facilitate smooth chopping. The amount of
ingredients should not exceed the maximum capacity of the chopping bowl.
NOTE: Do not chop large ice cubes or extremely hard foods, such as whole nutmegs, coffee
beans, dried corn and grains.
• Secure the Chopper cover by setting on the Bowl , make sure the 2 tubers on the cover
aligned with the 2 grooves of the chopping bowl, push down the cover to lock in place
(see below illustrations). The upper shaft of the Chopping Blade will t into the receiving hole
in the underside of the Cover.
• Attach the Motor Housing into the opening of the Bowl cover and turning the Motor Housing
from unlock ( ) to lock ( ) position until the Motor Housing is rmly locked into place. Plug
cord into convenient outlet.
• The chopper has two speeds. Press and hold the appropriate button to switch the Hand
Blender on. Release the button to switch the unit off.
USING THE CHOPPER ATTACHMENT
• Use the Low speed where possible especially if
you want to chop the food into bigger pieces. The
TURBO speed can be used for chopping the food
to small pieces or for pureed foods.
• When Low speed is selected, adjust the Speed
Control Dial on top of the motor housing for more
precise speed.
• During chopping process, you can insert food
through the Feeding Tube and use the Food
Pusher to press food into the bowl if necessary.
• If the ingredients stick to the Chopper Bowl
sides, loosen them by adding a small amount of
liquid or by using a spatula to scrape the food
back into the inner part of the Bowl.
• Release the Button and allow the blade to come
to a complete stop before removing the Motor
Housing by turning clockwise to unlock from the
Bowl Cover. Take care when removing the Blade
and hold only by the shaft handle as the metal
blade is sharp.
• Remove the Bowl Cover by pulling out the 2
fasteners together and lift up the bowl cover.
NOTE: Do not clean blades with ngers but use
a spoon or spatula to scrape food into Bowl after
Blade is removed.
2. Using Slicing/Shredding Disc:
• There is a Slicing/Shredding Disc
enclosed with the appliance for additional
food processing. Select the desired disc
(shredding side for strips and slicing side
for slices), assemble the disc onto disc
shaft with the selected disc side facing
up.
• Follow the above steps to secure the
Chopper Cover on the Chopping Bowl
and lock in place. Attach the Motor
Housing into the opening of the Bowl
cover and lock in place.
• Operate the Chopper as per the above
instructions. Stop and wait for the slicing/
shredding disc to stop before removing
the bowl cover. Always use the Food
Pusher to yield more evenly sliced/
shredded food.
Hints:
CAUTION: The chopping blade and
slicing/shredding disc are extremely
sharp. Use with caution when handling
or storing.

• Do not cut ingredients too small. Fill the Feeding tube fairly full to prevent the food from
slipping sideway during processing.
• It is normal to have small amount of waste left on the disc or bowl after process.
CAUTION: Unplug the appliance before attaching the chopper attachment. Put the food
ingredients in the Chopper Bowl, secure the Bowl Cover to the Chopping Bowl and attach
the Motor Housing to it. Use the slow speed, especially if you are chopping lumps in the
ingredients. The high speed can be used as a nishing touch.
USING THE WHISK
• Use the whisk only to prepare whip cream, egg
whites, mousses or quick desserts.
• Insert the Whisk into the Motor Housing until it is
locked.
• Immerse the Whisk into bowl where you have
placed the ingredients and push the Low Speed
Button, adjust the Speed Control Dial on top of the
Motor Housing for precise speed. You can use the
provided mixing/measuring cup or use separate
wide bowl.
CAUTION: To extend the life of this appliance,
never let it operate continuously for more than
1 minute at a time. After 1 minute of continuous
operation, release Button and let appliance rest for 3 minutes before using it again.
• When desired consistency has been reached, release Button and lift the Hand Blender with
Whisk from mixture. To prevent splashing, always release button before removing Hand
Blender from ingredients.
• To remove the Whisk, turn Motor Housing from lock ( ) to unlock ( ) position.

USING THE POTATO MASHER ATTACHMENT
• Use the potato masher attachment to blend potato only.
• Put the cooked potato into a wide bowl.
• Insert the Potato Masher Shaft/Blade
Housing into the Motor Housing until it is
locked.
• Immerse the Masher Shaft into bowl
where you have placed the ingredients
and push the Low Speed Button, adjust
the Speed Control Dial on top of the Motor
Housing for precise speed.
• Blend 100g cooked potato (cut into 4
pieces) for 1 minute.
• When desired consistency has been
reached, release Button and lift the Hand
Blender with Masher Shaft from mixture. To prevent splashing, always release button before
removing Hand Blender from ingredients.
• To remove the Masher Shaft, turn Motor Housing from lock ( ) to unlock ( ) position.

Jarden Consumer Solutions of India Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “JCS”) warrants that,
for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase of this product as evidenced in the cash
memo (“Warranty Period”), this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship (the
“Warranty”). Please preserve the warranty card and the cash memo of the product duly stamped
and signed by the dealer, as this will be required for any claims under this Warranty.
• The rights and benets under this Warranty are additional to your statutory rights, which are not
affected by this Warranty.
• During the Warranty Period, JCS, at its sole choice, will either repair or replace this product or
any component of the product found to be defective free of cost through (the dealer from whom
the product was purchased or through the service center listed in the card – business people to
conrm), provided that:
- JCS is promptly informed of the defect;
- The product has not been altered in any way or subjected to misuse or repair by the
person other than a person authorized by JCS;
- This Warranty, duly lled, stamped and signed by the dealer is made available.
• The Warranty provided herein is towards the original purchaser and is not transferrable to any
third party.
• Any repaired or replaced product will be warranted on these terms for the remaining portion of
the Warranty in the country where the product was purchased.
• Liability for consequential loss or damage is neither accepted nor is it implied.
• This Warranty is in lieu of all others expressed or implied and does not cover the following:
a.If product was use in any manner other than the intended use.
b.If the product has not been used according to the instruction manual/user’s manual, included
with the product.
c.If the defects are caused by improper use or reckless use.
d.If the product was altered or repaired by anyone other than those authorized by JCS.
e.If installation of the product is not done as per the printed instructions provided along with the
product.
f. If the defects are caused by re, ood, and other act of god.
g.If the defects are caused by use of incorrect current or voltage or faulty electric power supply.
h.Normal wear and tear of parts and accessories resulting from regular use.
i. Damage resulting from transportation, accidents, mishandling or negligence on the part of the
consumer.
j. The following part/components:
- Broken glass or ceramic parts
- Light bulb
- Accessories
k.If the product is put to industrial or commercial use.
• JCS will not be responsible for any delay in servicing due to non-availability of any
components or due to reasons beyond the control of JCS.
• Any failure of the product to perform any purpose other than the intended purpose shall not
be considered as a default under this warranty.
• In any event, if JCS becomes liable for damages incurred in connection with these
presents, then the liability of JCS will be limited to the amount equal to the sale invoice
amount paid by you.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed off with household waste. Please recycle where
facilities exist.
WARRANTY
CARE AND CLEANING
Be sure unit is unplugged before attempting to clean.
Motor housing should be wiped clean with a damp cloth or sponge. NEVER immerse motor
housing in water. Ensure all attachments are removed from the the motor housing before
cleaning.
After using your Hand Blender, the Blades, Mixing Cup, Chopper Bowl and/or Whisk/Potato
Masher Shaft may be washed by hand with mild soap and water. Wash Cup Lid and/or
Chopper Bowl Cover by hand using warm, soapy water with a cloth or sponge.
CAUTION: Blades and disc are sharp. Handle carefully.
Make sure all parts are completely dry before attempting to use again.
NOTE: Only the Chopping Bowl and Mixing/Measuring Cup are dishwasher safe, do not place
other components in dishwasher.
STORAGE
Unplug unit and store in a clean, dry place. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Do not
put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
