Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie Ihren GOURMET
CHECK DUAL BT in Betrieb nehmen.
Den Temperaturfühler mit warmem Wasser abwaschen und die Plastikkappe vor
der Verwendung entfernen.
VORAUSSETZUNGEN
Zur Verwendung des GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT wird ein iOS oder Android
Gerät mit Bluetooth 4.0 benötigt.
iOS Geräte
GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT wird von den folgenden iOS Geräten unterstützt:

Android Geräte
Der GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT wird von Android Geräten mit Bluetooth 4.0+
(auch genannt Bluetooth Low Energy [BLE] oder Bluetooth Smart) unterstützt.
Die Webseiten der Hersteller geben Auskunft über die Bluetooth-Fähigkeiten
ihrer Geräte.
Um den GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT verwenden zu können, muss Android OS
Version 4.3 oder höher installiert sein.
iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad Pro sind eingetragene

INBETRIEBNAHME
Kurzes, kräftiges Schütteln des GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT schaltet das
Thermometer ein. Die LED-Anzeige am Gerät blinkt blau, wenn der GOURMET
CHECK DUAL BT eingeschaltet ist und Temperaturdaten sendet.
Das Thermometer schaltet sich nach 1 Stunde nach dem letzten Schütteln
automatisch wieder aus. Dauerbetrieb ist gewährleistet, solange die Temperatur 2
(Grillkammertemperatur) über 60º C (140º F) beträgt.
VERBINDEN
Zur Verwendung des GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT muss die iOS oder Android
App von www.outdoorchef.com heruntergeladen werden. In den Einstellungen
des Smartphones oder Tablets muss zudem Bluetooth aktiviert sein. Sobald der
GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT eingeschaltet und in Reichweite ist, verbindet sich
die App automatisch mit dem Gerät.

AUFLADEN
Der GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT enthält einen wiederaufladbaren Lithium-
Polymer-Akku. Um den Akku zu laden, die Kappe am Ende des Griffes abziehen
und das beigelegte Micro USB Kabel verwenden.
Eine rote LED Anzeige leuchtet, wenn der Akku lädt. Sobald er vollständig
aufgeladen ist, leuchtet die LED Anzeige grün. Der GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT
läuft rund 100 Stunden mit einer Akkuladung.
PROBLEMBEHEBUNG
Keine Verbindung
Wenn die App das Thermometer nicht erkennt oder sich nicht mit dem
GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT verbinden lässt, folgende Schritte befolgen:
• Sicherstellen, dass das Thermometer eingeschaltet ist (blaues Licht blinkt)
• Smartphone oder Tablet in der Nähe des Thermometers platzieren
(um in Bluetooth-Reichweite zu kommen)
• Prüfen, ob die aktuellste iOS oder Android OS Version sowie die
OUTDOORCHEF App installiert ist
• Sicherstellen, dass Bluetooth in den Geräte-Einstellungen aktiviert ist
• Smartphone oder Tablet neu starten
Gerät schaltet sich nicht ein
Wenn sich das Thermometer nicht einschalten lässt (kein blaues Licht erscheint
nachdem das Gerät geschüttelt wurde), folgende Schritte ausführen:
• USB Kabel einstecken, um den Akku zu laden
• Überprüfen, dass das Thermometer nicht beschädigt ist

SAFETY INFORMATION
• Clean the temperature sensor before using it for the first time and after each use
• Remove the plastic cover from the tip of the temperature sensor before use
• Only the metal temperature sensor and the cable should be exposed to high
temperatures, but no higher than 300°C/ 572º F (max. 1 hour at 300°C / 572ºF)
• The cable must not come into direct contact with flames or activated heating
elements in the barbecue
• Do not expose the plastic housing with the battery to either heat or direct
sunlight
• Do not bend the metal temperature sensor
• Keep the device away from children
• Do not touch metal components with your bare hands during and shortly after
use (risk of burns)
• Do not wash the device in a dishwasher
• Protect the plastic housing from water, moisture and cold
• Do not dismantle the device into its various components

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Please read these instructions carefully before using your GOURMET CHECK
DUAL BT.
Rinse the temperature sensor in warm water and remove the plastic cover before
use.
REQUIREMENTS
An iOS or an Android device with Bluetooth 4.0 is required to use the GOURMET
CHECK DUAL BT.
iOS devices
The GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT is supported by the following iOS devices:

Android devices
The GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT is supported by Android devices with
Bluetooth 4.0+ (also called Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or Bluetooth Smart).

of their devices.
To be able to use the GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT, Android OS Version 4.3 or
higher must be installed.

SWITCHING ON
Shake the GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT quickly and firmly to switch it on. The
LED display on the device will flash blue when the GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT
is switched on and sending temperature data.
The thermometer will automatically switch itself off again 1 hour after the last
shake. Continuous operation is ensured provided the temperature 2 (grill chamber
temperature) is above 60º C (140º F).
CONNECTING
To use the GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT, the iOS or Android app must be
downloaded from www.outdoorchef.com. Bluetooth must also be enabled in the
smartphone or tablet settings. As soon as the GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT is
switched on and within range, the app will automatically connect to the device.

CHARGING
The GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT contains a rechargeable lithium-polymer
battery. To charge the battery, remove the cover on the end of the handle and use
the micro USB cable provided.
A red LED light indicates that the battery is charging. As soon as it is fully
charged, the LED will start to flash green. The GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT will
operate for around 100 hours with one charge.
TROUBLESHOOTING
No connection
If the app does not detect the thermometer or cannot connect to the GOURMET
CHECK DUAL BT, follow the steps described below:
• Make sure the thermometer is switched on (flashing blue light)
• Place the smartphone or tablet close to the thermometer
(to ensure it is within Bluetooth range)
• Check that the latest iOS or Android OS version and the OUTDOORCHEF app
are installed
• Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled in the device settings
• Restart the smartphone or tablet
Device won’t switch on
If you are unable to switch the thermometer on (no blue light appears after
shaking the device), follow the steps described below:
• Insert the USB cable to charge the battery
• Check that the thermometer is not damaged

MISE EN SERVICE
Un secouage fort et bref du GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT allume le
thermomètre. Le témoin lumineux LED sur l’appareil clignote en bleu quand le
GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT est allumé et que des informations de température
sont envoyées.
Le thermomètre s’éteint à nouveau automatiquement au bout d’1 heure après
avoir été secoué pour la dernière fois. Durée de service garantie tant que la
température 2 (température dans le gril) est supérieure à 60 °C.
CONNEXION
Pour utiliser le GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT, l’appli iOS ou Android doit être
téléchargée à l’adresse suivante: www.outdoorchef.com. Dans les paramètres
du smartphone ou de la tablette, le Bluetooth doit de plus être activé. Dès
que le GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT est allumé et dans le champ de portée,
l’application se connecte automatiquement à l‘appareil.

CHARGEMENT
Le GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT contient une batterie lithium-polymère
rechargeable. Pour charger la batterie, retirer le capuchon à l’extrémité de la unité
et utiliser le câble Micro-USB fourni.
Un témoin lumineux LED rouge s’allume lorsque la batterie se charge. Dès
qu’elle est complètement chargée, le témoin LED s‘allume en vert. Le GOURMET
CHECK DUAL BT fonctionne environ 100 heures après un seul chargement de
batterie.
RÉSOLUTION DE PROBLÈMES
Pas de connexion
Lorsque l’appli ne reconnaît pas le thermomètre ou qu’elle ne se connecte pas au
GOURMET CHECK DUAL BT, veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes:
• S‘assurer que le thermomètre est bien allumé (une lumière bleue clignote)
• Placer le smartphone ou la tablette à proximité du thermomètre (pour être dans
la portée Bluetooth)
• Vérifier que les versions les plus récentes d’iOS ou d’Android et que l’appli
OUTDOORCHEF sont bien installées
• S’assurer que le Bluetooth est bien activé dans les paramètres de l’appareil
• Redémarrer le smartphone ou la tablette
L‘appareil ne s‘allume pas
Si le thermomètre ne peut pas être allumé (pas de lumière bleue après que
l’appareil a été secoué), veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes:
• Brancher le câble USB pour charger la batterie
• Vérifier que le thermomètre n’est pas endommagé
