Initial operation
CAUTION! Never hang the product up by the
mains lead!
Hang up the product by means of the mount-
ing hook 1at the greatest possible distance
from a source of light. Here an installation
height of approx. 1.50m has been shown to
be ideal.
Insert the mains plug into the socket. (Turn on
the On/Off switch 6for model HG03494B.)
The product is ready to use. The UV light lures
the insects and contact with the electric high-
voltage grille 3kills or dehydrates them.
Dead insects are collected in the collection
tray 4.
Please rotate cleaning brush 5in anticlock-
wise direction 90 degree to facilitate pulling
out cleaning brush 5from clip easily.
Cleaning and care
CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! First remove the mains plug from the
socket.
Allow the product to cool down completely.
If the product is subject to heavy use it must be
cleaned every three weeks.
CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! For reasons of electrical safety the
product must never be cleaned with water or
other liquids or immersed in water.
Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for
cleaning.
Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items.
This would damage the product.
For Model HG03494A:
Remove the collection tray 4at bottom of
product by turning it to left as far as it will go.
For Model HG03494B:
Remove the collection tray 4at bottom of
product by pulling out.
The collection tray 4can now be emptied.
Please return collection tray 4into bottom of
product before use
If insects become stuck in the high-voltage grille
3, remove them carefully with a enclosed
cleaning brush 5without bending wires.
IMPORTANT! If two wires touch each other,
this will destroy the item.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable mate-
rials, which you may dispose of at local recycling
facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with following meaning:
1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and fibre-
board/80–98: composite materials.
The product and packaging materials
are recyclable, dispose of it separately
for better waste treatment. The Triman
logo is valid in France only.

pose of your worn-out product.
