Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new
product. You have chosen a high quality product.
The instructions for use are part of the product. They
contain important information concerning safety, use
and disposal. Before using the product, please famil-
iarise yourself with all of the safety information and
instructions for use. Only use the product as described
and for the specified applications. If you pass the

product on to anyone else, please ensure that you
also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product provides toxin-free protection against
flying and nocturnal insects. The insects are lured by
UV light and killed or dehydrated by the electric high-
voltage grille. The product kills all kind of insects, in-
cluding, for example, bees and butterflies and may,
therefore, only be used in enclosed spaces. The product
is not intended to be used for commercial purposes.

This product can be used by chil-
dren aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concern-
ing use of the product in a safe
way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play
with the product. Cleaning and

user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
Avoid the danger of
death from electric shock!
Before use, ensure that the mains
voltage available is the same as
the required operating voltage for
the product (220–240Volt∼
(alternating current)).
Before connecting the product to
the mains you should always
check the product and the mains
lead for any damage.
Do not use the product if you find
any damage.

Never open any of the electrical
equipment or insert any objects into
it. Such interventions represent the
danger of death from electric shock.
Do not attempt to repair the prod-
uct yourself. If the product is dam-
aged, it has to be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service depart-
ment or a similarly qualified per-
son in order to avoid hazards.
The product does not contain any
parts which can be serviced by
the user.
It is essential that the product
does not come into contact with
water or other liquids.
Never touch the mains plug with
damp or wet hands.

Do not touch the high-voltage grille
while the product is in operation.
A small residual charge still exists
a few minutes after the product
has been switched off.
Avoid the danger of
fire and injury!
Do not place the product on in-
flammable surfaces.
Do not use the product in rooms
in which there is a danger of fire,
e.g. rooms in which flammable or
explosive vapours or dusts might

be present (e.g. in stables, barns
or paint shops).
This product is suitable for
indoor use only.
DANGER OF EXPLO-
SION! As the product
generates heat, its use in the sur-
roundings of all highly inflammable
or ex plosive liquids or gases is
prohibited.
The illuminant is not replaceable.
If the illuminant fails at the end of
its life, the entire product must be
replaced.
Initial operation
Plug the product into a mains power socket.

Select required function at function selector
switch 2:
- Position “I/ ON”: the LEDs illuminate and the
high-voltage grille 1is active. The insects are
attracted and killed as soon as they touch the
high-voltage grille 1.
- Position II/Twilight: The product automatically
switches itself on at twilight (LEDs illuminate and
high-voltage grille 1is active). As soon as the
twilight sensor 4detects light again, the
product automatically switches itself off.
- Position “O/OFF”: The product is switched off.
If the product is not going to be used for a long
time, move the function selection switch 2to
position “O/OFF” and disconnect the plug from
the main power supply.
Cleaning and care
C AUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC S HOCK!
First remove the mains plug from the main power socket.
Allow the product to cool down completely.
If the product is subject to heavy use it must be
cleaned every three weeks.

CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
For reasons of electrical safety the product must
never be cleaned with water or other liquids or
immersed in water.
Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.
Depending on the quantity of insects, empty the
insect drawer 3at regular intervals. To do this,
pull the insect drawer 3out of the product and
empty it. Use a brush or dry cloth to clean it.
Should insects be caught up in the high-voltage
grille 1, remove them with a wooden stick,
toothpick or similar.
Do not use metal objects for cleaning the
high-voltage grille 1!
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materi-
als, which you may dispose of at local recycling
facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which are
marked with abbreviations (a) and num-
bers (b) with following meaning: 1–7:

plastics/20–22: paper and fibreboard/
80–98: composite materials.
The product and packaging materials are
recyclable, dispose of it separately for
better waste treatment. The Triman logo is
valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal author-
ity for more details of how to dispose of
your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please
dispose of the product properly when it
has reached the end of its useful life and
not in the household waste. Information
on collection points and their opening
hours can be obtained from your local
authority.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality
guidelines and meticulously examined before deli-
very. In the event of product defects you have legal

rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal
rights are not limited in any way by our warranty
detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date
of purchase. Should this product show any fault in
materials or manufacture within 3 years from the
date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our
choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.
Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location.
This document is required as your proof of purchase.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been
damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manu-
facture. This warranty does not cover product parts
subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered con-
sumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts,
e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

rokat és a magas feszültségű rács megsemmisíti ill.
dehidratálja azokat. A termék minden típusú rovart
elpusztít, pl. méheket és lepkéket is, ezért csak zárt
térben szabad használni. A terméket nem közületi
felhasználásra szánták.
