Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You
have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are
part of the product. They contain important information concern-
ing safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please fa-
miliarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions
for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified
applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please
ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
The product is intended for use indoors only in a private domestic
environment and not for commercial use.

This product can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or in-
struction concerning use of the product in a

safe way and understand the hazards in-
volved. Children shall not play with the product .
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children without supervision.
Please keep the product out of the reach of
children at all times.
As the product generates heat, its
use in the surroundings of all highly
inflammable or explosive liquids or gases
is prohibited.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do
not touch the high-voltage grille
while the product is in operation. A small
residual charge still exists a few minutes
after the product has been switched off.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
The risk of an electric shock can
arise if water from a garden hose is
directed onto the product.
The lamp in this product
cannot be replaced by end user. Scrap the
product when the lamp cease to operate.
Never open or insert anything into electri-
cal fittings or equipment. Doing this sort of
thing can lead to a serious danger to life
from electric shock.

In the event of damage, repairs or other
problems with the product, please contact
an electrician.
Do not use the product in rooms in which
there is a danger of fire, e.g. rooms in
which flammable or explosive vapours or
dusts may be present (e.g. in stables, barns
or paint shops).
ATTENTION! When the product is used,
it may also kill other kinds of insects includ-
ing protected and valuable insects, like
bees and butterflies.
Never use the product in the immediate vi-
cinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
The rechargeable battery must be removed
from the product before it is scrapped.
The product must be disconnected from the
USB power supply when removing the
rechargeable battery.
The rechargeable battery is to be disposed
of safely.

immediate medical attention.

Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/
rechargeable batteries and/or open them.
Overheating, fire or bursting can be the
result.
Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries
into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/
rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries/recharge-
able batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and
temperatures, which could affect batteries/
rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/
direct sunlight.
If batteries/rechargeable batteries have
leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes with the chemicals!
Flush immediately the affected areas with
fresh water and seek medical attention!

rechargeable batteries can cause burns on
contact with the skin. Wear suitable protec-
tive gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
This product has a built-in rechargeable
battery which cannot be replaced by the
user. The removal or replacement of the
rechargeable battery may only be carried
out by the manufacturer or his customer
service or by a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid hazards. When disposing
of the product, it should be noted that this
product contains a rechargeable battery.
Charging the product
Note: Do not switch on the lamp when charging.
Fully charge the rechargeable battery prior to first use.
Note: Charge the battery if the brightness of the UV light
becomes weak.
Open the protective Input cap.
Insert the Micro USB plug of the USB cable 7into the Micro
USB Input charging port 5. Then insert the USB plug of the
USB cable 7into the USB port on USB power supply.
Note: The Red charging battery indicator 6will light up
during charging. The colour changes to “Green” when charg-
ing is complete.
Remove the USB cable 7as soon as charging is complete.
Close the protective cap.

Operation
The UV light lures the insects and contact with the electric
high-voltage grille 4kills or dehydrates them.
Set up the product at ground level on a dry surface in close
proximity to you. Do not set up the product in draughty
places. Otherwise, the insects will not remain on the product.
Switch the product on (Position I) with the ON/ OFF switch 2.
The UV LED lights up, the high-voltage grille 4receives cur-
rent. Any insects that now fly into the high-voltage grille 4will
be killed.
Switch the product off (position O) with the ON/OFF switch 2
if you do not use it anymore.
Remove the dead insects by tilting the product and shaking
lightly.
Cleaning and care
CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
For reasons of electrical safety the product must never be
cleaned with water or other liquids or immersed in water.
Switch the product off and allow it to cool down completely
before you clean it.
If the product is subject to heavy use it must be cleaned every
three weeks.
Use a dry, fluff-free cloth for cleaning.
Remove the dead insects by tilting the product and shaking
lightly.
If insects have got caught in the high-voltage grille 4, remove
them with a soft brush.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you
may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for
waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations
(a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7:
plastics/20–22: paper and fibreboard/80–98:
composite materials.
The product and packaging materials are recyclable,
dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The
Triman logo is valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more
details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the
product properly when it has reached the end of its
useful life and not in the household waste. Information
on collection points and their opening hours can be
obtained from your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries /rechargeable batteries must be recycled
in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments.
Please return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and/ or the
product to the available collection points.
Environmental damage through incorrect
disposal of the batteries/rechargeable
batteries!
Batteries/ rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the
usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and
are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations.
The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cad-
mium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of
used batteries/ rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines
and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product

defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product.
Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty
detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase.
Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture
within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace
it – at our choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep
the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is requi-
red as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the
product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This
warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear,
thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for
damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries
or glass parts.

problema na proizvodu, molimo obratite

Ne upotrebljavajte proizvod u prostori-

OPASNOST OD EKSPLOZIJE!
Nikada ne punite baterije koje nisu
namijenjene za punjenje. Ne pravite kratki
spoj na baterijama/punjivim baterijama i
ne otvarajte ih. Posljedice mogu biti pregri-
javanje baterije, požar ili eksplozija.
Ne bacajte baterije/punjive baterije nikada
u vatru ili vodu.
Ne izlažite baterije/ punjive baterije nika-
kvom mehaničkom opterećenju!
Opasnost od curenja baterija/punjivih
baterija
Izbjegavajte ekstremne uvjete i temperature
koje mogu djelovati na baterije/punjive
baterije, npr. radijatore/izravno izlaganje
suncu.
Ako su punjive baterije/jednokratne baterije
iscurjele, spriječite dodir kože, očiju i sluznica
sa kemikalijama! Odmah isperite pogođena
mjesta čistom vodom i potražite liječnika!
NOSITE ZAŠTITNE RUKAVICE!
Iscurjele ili oštećene baterije/pu-
njive baterije mogu uzrokovati ozljede kise-
linom, ako dođu u kontakt s kožom. Stoga
u takvom slučaju obavezno nosite odgova-
rajuće zaštitne rukavice.
