The MAX In-Wall™ POWER discreetly delivers
safe AC power and protects the customer’s
display in a UL approved, code compliant
manner. This is how it works: remote
audio/video equipment is powered by a
branch circuit separate from the main system.
If A/V signals are distributed from the main
system to remote equipment, multiple ground
references are created, making all equipment
susceptible to voltage-differential surge
damage. The MIW-POWER module combines
AC surge protection with a bay for signal protection modules (sold separately).
With a module in the bay, AC and signal lines are bonded together, creating one
Isolated Ground Reference for the remote equipment.

Simply remove the panel and replace it with
the appropriate signal line module.
For new construction (pre-wire):
Use a Carlon®new-
work electrical box
(Model # B122A-UPC).
A Carlon low voltage
add-on bracket
(Model # SC100SC)
may be used with the
new-work box to indicate the size and location
of the opening needed in the drywall. The low-
voltage bracket may be left in place when
installing the MIW-POWER.
Signal line
modules
may be mounted flush
with faceplate, half-recess or with full
recess. Modules can be removed or depth-
adjusted with the included puller.
