Step 6: Perform the screen calibration
Replace the procedure with the following.
NOTE
•Perform the following calibration for each user.
•Rotate the display to primary landscape before performing the calibration.
A
Click (start) - [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] - [Tablet PC Settings].
BClick [Calibrate].
CIf [User Account Control] is displayed, click [Yes].
DUsing the stylus, touch each of the “+” target marks one by one, and then click [Yes].
AClick [start] - [Control Panel] - [Printers and Other Hardware] - [Tablet and Pen Settings].
BSet the following with [Calibrate] in [Settings].
CUsing the stylus, touch each of the “+” target marks one by one, and then click [Yes].
Handling and Maintenance
When using the digitizer
Replace “digitizer” with “touchscreen”.
Replace “digitizer pen” with “stylus”.

Troubleshooting (Basic)
Change the description “Cannot point the correct position using the included digitizer pen or finger.” as follows.
Cannot point the correct posi-
tion using the included stylus or
finger.
Perform the screen calibration. (reverse side)
If the external mouse driver is installed, you may not be able to
use the Touch Pad.
Uninstall the external mouse driver.

If the cursor does not move correctly after calibration, reset the pa-
rameters and perform the screen calibration again, using the follow-
ing steps.
A
Click (start) -
[Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] - [Tablet
PC Settings].
B
Click [Reset].
CIf [User Account Control] is displayed, click [Yes].
DClick [OK].
EClick [Calibrate], then perform the screen calibration
(step Con the reverse side).
Add the following description.
When the computer is turned off,
horizontal stripes on the screen
may appear.
This is a product of the touchscreen specifications, and is not a
malfunction.

• Mirroring
The mirror function is not available when Windows Aero is disabled.
• Assigning the Zoom In/Take Photo Functions to the Tablet Button
If “The file path you specified does not exist…” appears, the file path specified for [Program Location] in
the [Tablet Button Actions] screen may not be correct, or the double quotation mark (“) may be missing.
Click [OK] and confirm the [Tablet Button Actions] screen.
Troubleshooting (Basic)
Add the following description.
The Web Camera does not oper-
ate.
When using the Web Camera after the computer resumes from
sleep / standby or hibernation, wait
for about 10 seconds before starting up the software.
