Assembly
Use the four holes on the stand (No.1), attach
the sheet-steel folding machine in a workbench
with four bolts (not included).
Screw the handles (No.6) onto the stand (No.1).
Use
WARNING: Do not exceed the maximum bending
capacity of the machine (1.2mm thickness).
1. Lower the handle (No.6) until the movable plate
is parallel to the workbench.
2. Place the workpiece on the support and
movable plate so that the edge to be bent is
in line with the trailing edge with the support
plate.
3. Place the pressure plate (No.4) on top of the
support plate so that the rear edge of the
pressure plate (No.4) aligns with the rear edge
of the support plate. Use clamps (not supplied)
or any other suitable clamping device to secure
the workpiece.
4. Note: To get a good bend, you should leave a
gap of 3-4.5mm for materials of 1.2mm. If you
use thinner sheet metal, you can reduce the
gap (try it out with small pieces).
5. Raise the handles (No.6) to bend the sheet
metal.
6. WARNING: When bending the material, hands
should be kept away from the support plate and
the moving plate to avoid injury.
