
General safety instructions
Warning! when using electric tools, basic
safety measures must always be followed
to reduce the risk of re, electric shock and
personal injury. Read all instructions before
using this product and save these instructions.
• Keep the work area clean. Messy areas
invite injury
• Consider the working conditions. Do not
use the tool in damp, wet or poorly lit
locations. Do not expose to rain.
• Keep children away. All children must be
kept away from the work area. Do not let
them handle tools or extension cords.
• Do not overwork tools. This will do the
jobbetter and safer at the rate it was
intended for.
• Use the right tools. Don't force a small tool
or accessory to do the job instead of a
larger industrial tool. Do not use a tool for
apurpose for which it was not intended.
• Dress accordingly. Do not wear loose clothing
or jewellery. They can get caught in moving
parts. Protective gloves and non-slip shoes
are recommended when working. Use hair
nets to keep long hair out of the way, so it
doesn't get caught in the machine.
• Use eye protection. Use ISO-approved
safety glasses.
• Safe work. Use clamps or a vise to hold
theworkpiece if possible. It is safer than
using your hands and it frees both hands
touse the tool.
• Don't overextend yourself. Keep the right
footing and balance at all times.
• Treat tools with care. Keep them clean for
better and safer performance. Follow the
instructions for lubrication and replacement
of accessories. Inspect cables, etc.
regularly and if they are damaged, have
them repaired by an authorized service
workshop or replace them. Keep handles
dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
• Remove adjustment keys and guards.
Makeit a habit to check that wrenches and
keys are removed from the tool or machine
work surface before use.
• Be alert. Look at the tool, use common
sense. Do not use tools when you are tired.
• Check for damaged parts. Before using the
tool, any part that appears damaged should
be carefully inspected to determine that it
is functioning properly and can perform its
intended function. Check for alignment of
moving parts, breakage of parts, assembly
and other conditions that may affect its
operation. Any part that is damaged must
be properly repaired by an authorized
service centre unless otherwise specied
inthe instruction manual.
• Replacement of parts and accessories.
Only use identical spare parts when
servicing. Only use accessories intended
for use with this tool. Approved accessories
are available at the tool shed.
• Do not use the tool if you are under the
inuence of alcohol or drugs.
• Read prescription warning labels to
determine if your judgement or reexes
are impaired while taking medications.
Ifindoubt, do not use the machine.
• Never stand on the tool. Serious injury can
occur if the tool tips over.
• Keep protection in place and in working
order. Never use the machine unless all
guards are working properly.
• Never use a tool if its housing or any bolts
are missing.
• If covers or bolts have been removed,
replace them before use. Maintain that all
parts are in good condition.
• Wipe up spills etc. to avoid slipping
accidents. Keep the oor clean and free of
all liquids and other spills that can cause
slip accidents. Check the material data
sheet for proper cleaning procedures.
• Never leave the machine running unattended.
Do not leave the machine until it has stopped
completely.
