1. Status bar
2. Librar: Tap to displa the tracks copied rom our
computer (P1).
3. Tap hen using balanced headphones and sitch
beteen the Balanced and ACG modes.
ne Compared to the normal single-ended
operation this mode enables ou to get a larger output
and as the high voltage is not grounded together ith the
small signal ou can anticipate superior music ualit.
Because ou get a larger output ou can drive
headphones ith a higher impedance.
A The basic operating method is the same as
Balanced (mode) but uses technolog to even more
orceull i grounding standards so ou can eno a
sound ualit ith improved clarit and stabilit than
Balanced (mode). Output volume is the same as the
regular single-ended operation hoever.
. Line Out: You can sitch the headphone output to the
line output mode to connect eternal euipment. Line
Out is displaed on the status bar hen this is on.
5. Turn on or o the i-Fi eature.   is displaed on the
status bar hen this is on. Connection settings are
necessar to use i-Fi eatures. Reer to 2. i-Fi (P7)
or connection settings.
. Turn on or o the BLUETOOTH eature.   is
displaed on the status bar hen this is on. Pairing is
necessar to connect BLUETOOTH ireless technolog
enabled devices. Reer to Connecting BLUETOOTH®
(P1) or connection settings.
7. Shos the name o the track being plaed. Tap to displa
the pla screen.
. olume dial: Turn the dial to adust the volume.
. Online: Tap to sitch to a screen shoing a list o
netork services such as TuneIn Radio etc. (P17).

11. You can make various settings or the unit such as i-Fi
and BLUETOOTH settings (P21).

0hen inserting the micro SD card into the card slot
insert ith the contacts acing up and push in
completel so the card clicks into place.
0To remove the micro SD card irst unmount it (P32).
Ater unmounting push the micro SD card in until ou
hear a click and then pull straight out. The micro SD
card ma spring out so take care not to lose it.
1. Headphone ack ( ): Connect headphones
compatible ith balanced output. (2.5 mm/-conductor)
1. Headphone ack ( ): Connect regular headphones. (3.5
mm/3-conductor)
0This unit does not support simultaneous use o the
balanced headphone ack and the headphone ack.
Using both acks at the same time ma result in
damage.
20. Charging lamp: This lights hite hen charging starts. It
turns o hen recharging inishes. I the unit is in a state
that prevents charging it lashes hite. Tr charging
again ater aiting a hile.
21. Poer button (Í): Press and hold the poer button to
turn the poer on. To turn the poer o press and hold
the poer button so the Poer O screen is
displaed. You can turn the poer o b tapping Yes.
To turn the displa on or o ust press the button.
0I operation becomes unstable ou can shutdon the
unit b pressing and holding the poer button or 10 or
more seconds. Reer to I operation becomes
unstable (P32) or details.
22. micro USB port: To charge the unit (P) or transer music
iles (P P13) connect the supplied micro USB cable.
23. HOLD sitch: You can lock operations on this unit b
sliding the sitch up. hen the Operations hile
Holding (P22) setting is Enable the volume dial and
side buttons or pla etc. can still be used.

Initial Setup
Turning the poer on and initial settings

1. The batter is not charged at the time o purchase.
Charge the unit ith the supplied micro USB cable
beore use. Connect so the ider side o the plug is don
hen inserting into this units micro USB port. The
recharging mark is displaed at the top right o the
screen hen recharging.
0You can also recharge hile the unit is on. The time
or recharging ma increase in this case.
2. The poer comes on automaticall hen recharging
starts and the initial settings start.
3. Select the language ou ant to use irst. Flick the list o
languages up or don then tap the language ou ant
to use. hen ou select the language a conirmation or
the initial settings is displaed. Tap Yes. I ou tap No
ou ill et the initial settings and the home screen is
displaed.
0Passcode (P22) and i-Fi (P21) settings can be
completed later.

Set the pass code used to protect this unit. hen ou set a
pass code the pass code screen is displaed hen the
poer is turned on or hen restoring rom displa o. You
should create a pass code to protect our account i ou are
going to use a netork service.
1. Enter an our digit number. I ou made a mistake ith
an entr tap  .
2. Enter the pass code again to conirm.
0I ou enter the rong pass code three times a message
appears asking i ou ant to initialize the units settings.
Note that even i the settings are initialized the copied
music iles are not deleted.

unit.

1. Tap the SSID o the access point ou ant to connect
rom the SSID displaed.
0I the SSID o the access point is not displaed tap
Other... in the SSID list and ollo the on screen
instructions to conigure.
2. Ater tapping the ield or entering the passord enter
the passord o the access point then tap Connect.
For details on ho to enter tet reer to Entering tet
(P30).

1. Tap Push Button on the screen and press the automatic
setting button on the access point.
0The operation o the automatic setting button depends
on our device. Reer to the instruction manual o our
device or instructions.

Playback
Coping music ith X-DAP Link
You can cop music iles stored on our computer to the
built-in storage on this unit or to a micro SD card in this unit
then listen to the music through the Librar (P1). You can
cop either using the data coping sotare X-DAP Link
or b dragging and dropping (P13).
0X-DAP Link is compatible ith indos® 10 (32bit/
bit) indos® / .1 (32 bit/ bit) and indos® 7 (32
bit/ bit).
0To cop to a micro SD card insert a micro SD card into
the card slot (P5).
0hen removing the micro SD card unmount the micro
SD card beore removing it (P32).
0NTFS ormat micro SD cards are not supported on this
unit.

This unit supports X-DAP Link versions 1.2.0 and later.
hen using version 1.2.0 or earlier install the latest version
beore continuing.
Perorm the olloing procedure hen the unit is on.
1. Start our computer and donload the installer or X-
DAP Link rom the olloing site.

Double-click setup.ee to install. Follo the on-screen
instructions to install. A shortcut is created on the
desktop ater installation.
2. Connect this unit to a computer ith the supplied micro
USB cable. Connect so the ider side o the plug is don
hen inserting into this units micro USB port. You ma
damage the plug or ack i ou tr to insert it the rong
a.
Screen Change to USB Mass Storage Mode is
displaed so tap Yes. Do not tap Unmount displaed
hen ou tap this until the transer o the plalist is
complete. I ou do tap it unplug the micro USB cable
then connect it again.

3. Start X-DAP Link. The olloing tpes o screens are
displaed hen ou start it.

1. Click 1 and select the older that contains the music iles
ou ant to cop. I the older ou ant to cop is alread
displaed start selecting rom 2.

I there are music iles ou have donloaded rom onko
music (a site that distributes music iles) select this
older.

I ou are using iTunes® a pla list and content are
displaed. I iTunes cannot be selected open
Preerences - Advanced in iTunes then put a check
mark net to Share iTunes Librar XML ith other
applications.
0There ma be some dierences in the operations
screens and ho operations are perormed depending
on the iTunes version. For details see the operating
instructions or iTunes.
2. A list o music iles is displaed in the center o the
screen hen ou select it.
3. Click 3 in the bottom let o the screen and select the
cop destination. hen coping to the Internal Storage
o this unit select Internal hen coping to a micro SD
card select the Removable disk or the card to be
copied to then click O. You can also click 4 5 to
speci dierent cop destinations to 3.
. Select the music iles ou ant to cop according to the
cop destination speciied in step 3. I the cop
destination as selected b clicking 3 put check marks
in the column 6 to the let o the music iles to be added.
B clicking the check button 7 at the ver top o the list
ou can either select or deselect all tracks.
0I there are alread copied music iles in the cop
destination the check button is automaticall selected.
I there are music iles that ou ant to delete rom this
unit deselect them.

0hen coping a music ile and an error message is
displaed restart this unit and perorm the operation
again. I the error message is displaed again use
our computer to delete the daplink older rom the
built-in storage o this unit.
7. Tap Unmount on this units screen and unplug the
micro USB cable. Reer to Listening to music rom the
Librar(P1) or pla operations.

You can create a plalist ith X-DAP Link then transer it
together ith the music iles to this unit. Creating plalists
ith X-DAP Link is supported ith X-DAP Link versions
1.3.0 or later. hen using version 1.3.0 or earlier install the
latest version beore continuing.
