Buttons are physical keys on
your phone which always
perform the function for which
they are labeled.
Soft keys are functions you see
on your lcd screen.
They change according to where
you are in a call sequence.
You select a soft key function by
pressing the plastic button
directly underneath it.

Note: If you lift the handset before dialing, the system will attempt to complete the call after a slight pause. Leaving the handset in the cradle until you are
finished dialing will provide you all the time you need to enter the number in full.

1. When on an active call,
see caller ID for next
incoming call.
2. Press Answer. Other
calls are automatically
placed on hold.
3. Use navigation arrows
to toggle between calls.
4. Highlight a call and
press Resume or Hold
to manage that call.

If you have an appearance of
another line on your phone
you can answer incoming
calls on that line.

Answer a Call > Silence
Press Silence to stop a call from audibly
ringing.
The call may be answered up to the point
the led on the line key stops flashing, and it
rolls to voicemail.

Select the DND icon
in Home view
Press DND soft key
if available

Do Not Disturb (DND) sends all incoming calls directly to voicemail.

Transfer a Call > Three Types
Consultative
You talk with the person to whom you
are transferring the call before
completing the transfer.
Blind (BlindXfer)
You transfer the call without talking to
the recipient before completing the
transfer.
Direct to Voicemail (Vmxfer)
You send the call directly to the
voicemail of the person to whom you
are transferring the call.
