DESCRIPTION
APW series amplifier has been specifically designed for paging, music, and
sound reinforcement applications in P.A. systems.
FEATURES:
• Balanced XLR inputs.
• Balanced 6.3mm (1/4”) jack inputs.
• Three Speak-on discrete output connectors for CHANNEL A,
CHANNEL B and BRIDGED mono speaker.
• Output signal (SIG) LED indicator.
• Output overload (OL) LED indicator.
• 30Hz subsonic filter to avoid speaker damage by unwanted and
dangerous subsonic frequencies.
• CLIP LIMIT switch to allow output signal limiting to protect
loudspeakers from the effects of clipping.
• AMP MODE three way selector to choose amplifier operating
mode among MONO, STEREO and BRIDGED. In STEREO mode
the amps works in a “standard” way with both levels and both
outputs working. In MONO mode only Left channel input level
works, setting the levels for both amp Speak-on outputs
(CHANNEL A & CHANNEL B). In BRIDGED mode only Left
channel input level works, setting the level for BRIDGED Speak-on
output.
• Three Speak-on output connectors for professional and reliable
amplifier to speaker connection, named CHANNEL A, CHANNEL
A, and BRIDGED. Please note that BRIDGED output must be used
with AMP MODE BRIDGED selection only, while CHANNEL A and
CHANNEL B outputs should be used both in MONO mode both
STEREO mode.
• In order to reset the amp operation in case of uneven operation
there’s a resettable BREAKER circuit. If this circuit breaks
continuously there’s a serious problem, like speaker real load
impedance lower than 2-Ohm in mono or stereo or lower than 4-
Ohm in bridge, or the circuit is detecting an amplifier malfunction.
