1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND EMC
All safety instructions in this document must be read, understood, and followed.
1-1. Transportation and Storage
Please ship the UPS system only in its original packaging to protect against shock and damage.
The UPS should be stored in a room where the temperature is well regulated. The ambient
temperature should not exceed 40°C.
1-2. Preparation
Condensation can form if the UPS system is immediately moved from a cold environment to a
cold environment
warm. The UPS system must be completely dry before installation. Wait at least two hours
for the UPS system to adapt to the environment.
Do not install the UPS system near water or in humid environments.
Do not install the UPS system in direct sunlight or near
heat source .
Do not block the ventilation holes in the UPS house.
1-3. Installation
Do not connect equipment or devices that would overload the UPS (e.g.
large motor type equipment) to the UPS output terminal.
Place the cable in such a way that no one can step on or
stumble.
Do not block the air vents in the UPS home. Ensure proper spacing of ventilation units.
The UPS is equipped with a grounding terminal, at the final installation stage,
connect the grounding/earthing cable to an external UPS battery cabinet or
suitable grounding terminals.
UPSs can only be installed by qualified maintenance personnel.
Appropriate disconnection devices such as short circuit backup protection shall be
included during installation.
Integral emergency disconnect switch that prevents additional load from the UPS in
Any operating mode must be applied during installation.
Secure grounding/earthing cables before connecting to cable terminals
any voltage.
Installation and Wiring must be in accordance with laws and regulations
local electricity.

1-4. Connection Warning
• There is no standard feedback protection inside the UPS. However, there is a relay at the Input to cut
the voltage off line and when neutral it is still connected to the UPS.

• This UPS must be connected to the TN
grounding
system.
• The power input for this unit should be rated three-phase according to the nameplate of the equipment.
It must also be properly grounded.
• The use of this equipment in medical instruments of any life support equipment where the failure of this
equipment could reasonably be expected to cause the failure of the life support equipment or
significantly affect its safety or effectiveness is not recommended. Do not use this equipment if there is a
flammable mixture with air, oxygen, or nitrous oxide.
• Connect the UPS ground terminal to the earth electrode conductor.
• In accordance with the EN-IEC 62040-1 safety standard, the installation must be equipped with a
《Backfeed Protection》system, e.g. a contactor, which will prevent the appearance of harmful voltage
or energy on the input power source during a power interruption (follow the wiring diagram «Backfeed
Protection» depending on whether the equipment uses a signal or a three-phase input).
There should be no derivatives in the line switching from « Feedback Protection » to the UPS, as
safety standards will be violated.
• Warning labels should be placed on all main power switches installed at a place away from the unit to
notify electrical maintenance personnel of the presence of UPS in the circuit. The label will contain the
following text or equivalent:
1- 5 . Operation
Do not disconnect grounding/earthing conductor cables on UPS or cable terminals
building under any circumstances.
The UPS system displays its own internal current source (battery). UPS output socket or the
output terminal block may be power-supplied even if the UPS system is not connected to the
cable electricity/building electricity. ( only for standard model)

To completely disconnect the UPS system, first press the "OFF" button and then Unplug the
power/power cord.
Make sure no liquids or other foreign objects can enter the UPS system.
UPS can be operated by any individual with no prior experience.

2. INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
The series comes with two VAC systems: 208V and 400V. There are two different types of models: standard
and long-term models. Please refer to the following table.

We also offer optional parallel functionality for both models on request. UPSs with parallel functions are
called "Parallel models". We have details of the installation and operating procedure of the Parallel Model in
the following chapters.
2-1. Disassembly and Inspection
Open the package and check the contents of the package. The shipping package must contain:
● One UPS
● One user manual
● One CD monitoring software
● One RS-232 cable (option)
● One USB cable
● External battery bank connection cable (option)
● One parallel cable ( only available for parallel models)
● Single shared current cable (only available for parallel models)
NOTE:
Before installation, please check the unit. Make sure there is no physical damage to the unit. Do not
turn on the unit and notify the operator and dealer immediately of any damage or loss of parts and
accessories. Please keep the original packaging for future use. It is recommended to store each equipment
and battery set in its original packaging as it has been designed to provide maximum protection during
transportation and storage.

2-3. Single UPS mounting
Installation and wiring must be done in accordance with local electrical laws and regulations by trained
professionals.
1) Ensure that electrical wiring and building breakers are in line with the capacity of the UPS to prevent
electric shock or fire risk.
NOTE: Do not use a wall outlet as an input power source for the UPS, as the current value is less than the
maximum input current of the UPS. The container can be damaged and destroyed.
2) Turn off electrical switches in the building before installation.
3) Turn off all connected devices before connecting to the UPS.
4) Prepare the cable based on the following table:

5) Remove the terminal block cover on the back panel of the UPS. Then connect the cable according to
Terminal block diagram follows: ( Connect the ground/earthing cable first when making other cable
connections. Unplug the last ground/earth cable when connecting the UPS!)

NOTE 1 :
Make sure the cable is securely connected to the terminal.
NOTE 2 :
Please install an output breaker between the output terminal and the load, and the breaker should
have a leakage current protective function if necessary.
6) Replace the terminal block cover on the back panel of the UPS .
Warning:
(For standard models only)
● Make sure the UPS is off before installation. The UPS should not be turned on during cable connection.
● Do not try to convert the standard model into a long-term model . In particular, do not attempt to
connect a standard internal battery to an external battery. Battery type and voltage may vary, risk of
electric shock or fire may occur!
Warning:
(For long-term models only)
● Make sure the DC disconnect or other protective device between the UPS and the external battery pack
is plugged in for added safety. If not, please install it carefully. Turn off the battery disconnect before
installation.

● Pay special attention to the rated battery voltage marked on the back panel. If you want to change the
battery number in chain, make sure you change the UPS settings accordingly. A connection with the
wrong battery voltage can cause permanent damage to the UPS.
● Pay special attention to the polarity marks on the external battery terminal blocks. A connection with the
wrong battery voltage can cause permanent damage to the UPS.
● Ensure adequate protective grounding/earthing cable. The reliability of specifications, colors, positions,
joints, and current cable conductance must be verified.
● Make sure utility input &; output wiring is rated correctly. The reliability of specifications, colors, positions,
joints, and current cable conductance must be verified. Make sure the L/N side is correct, not reversed or
short-circuited.
2-4. UPS Installation for Parallel Systems
If the UPS is only for single operation, you can skip this section .
1) Install and connect the UPS according to sections 2-3.
2) Connect the output cable of each UPS to the output breaker .
3) Connect all output breakers to the primary breaker. This main output breaker will then connect directly
to the load .
4) Common battery packs or separate battery packs for each UPS are allowed.

2-5. Software Installation
For optimal computer system protection, install UPS monitoring software to configure UPS shutdown
operations.

3. OPERATION
3-1. Button operation
1) Before operation, make sure both battery circuits are properly connected with the terminal sequence "
+,GND,-" and the battery pack breaker is in the "ON" position (for long-term models only).
2 ) Press the " " to turn on the power supply for the UPS to turn on the LCD screen.
The UPS will enter initialization mode. After initialization, follow the "CONTROL" menu to operate the UPS.
This button only works when the UPS is turned off with the battery connected but without AC input. When
the UPS is connected with the AC network, simply follow the "CONTROL" menu to operate the UPS after
LCD initialization.
3-2. Screen Description
After initialization, the LCD will display the main screen. There are five sub-menus: Control, measure,
settings, information and log data. Touch one of the sub-menu icons to enter the sub-screen.

When powered on, the LCD will initiate initialization for approximately a few seconds as shown below.
After initialization, the main screen will be displayed as shown below. On the button, there are five icons
representing five sub-menus: Control, measure, setting, information, log data.

3-2- 2. Control screen
Touch its icon to enter the controls submenu .
Touch the icon to return to the home screen no matter it's on any screen from any submenu.

Touch "Back" to return to the main screen immediately or "No" to cancel this operation and return to the
main screen (screen 0.0).

Battery Test
It will show "Battery Test" if the UPS is not being tested. Touch "Yes" to start the battery test. Then, it will
display "Battery testing... ..." during the battery testing period. After a few seconds, the battery test results
will appear on the screen. Touch "Back" to return to the main screen immediately or "No" to cancel this
operation and return to the main screen (screen 0.0). It will display "Cancel battery testing" if the UPS is
being tested.

Mute Voice
It will display "Mute all" if audio is on. Touch "Yes" to turn on mute. If
"Turn off all" is on, it will be displayed icon in the upper left corner of the main screen. Touch
"Back" to immediately return to the CONTROL screen or "No" to cancel this operation and return to the
CONTROL screen (screen 0.0).
It will display "Unmute" if the UPS is mute. Touch "Yes" to enable the audio function or "No" to remain silent.
Touch "Back" to return to the CONTROL screen. (screen 0.0)

Charger Off
It will display "Enable Charger?" when the charger is turned off. It will display "Turn Charger Off?" when the
charger is on. Touch "YES" to turn the charger off or off. Or touch "NO" to cancel this operation. Then, the
screen will return to the main screen.

Touch "Back" to immediately return to the CONTROL screen.
Parallel Exit
It will display "Parallel Exit?" when the units are in parallel system. Touch "Yes" to remove the unit from the
parallel system. Or touch "No" to cancel this operation. Then, the screen will return to the main screen.
3-2-3. Measure screen
Touch the icon to go to the measurement page. Touch the icon or to browse information.
Touch the icon to return to the home screen. Touch the icon to return to the previous menu.

3-2-4. Settings screen
This sub menu is used to set UPS parameters. Touch the icon to enter the settings menu page. There
are 2 options: Basic and Advanced. Touch the icon to return to the home screen. Touch its icon
to return to the previous menu.

NOTE
: Not all settings are available in every operating mode. If the setting is not available in the current
mode, the LCD will still display the original setting parameters instead of changing the parameters.

GENERAL:
This is for organizing the basic information of the UPS. It is not related to any function
parameters.
Ø
ADVANCE:
Required to enter a password to access the "ADVANCED" settings. There are two types of
authority, User and Maintainer.
GENERAL SETTINGS

Ø Language: Set the LCD language. There are three options: English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional
Chinese. English is the default setting.
Ø Input Source: Select an input source. There are two options: Line (utility) and generator. Line is the
default setting. The value of this setting will be displayed on the Main page. When "generator" is
selected, the acceptable input frequency will be set at 40~75Hz range. The value of this setting will be
displayed in the status bar.
Ø Contact: Set the contact name and the maximum length is 18 characters.
Ø Phone: Assign a service phone number. Only 0~9, + and – are accepted. The maximum length is 14
characters.
Ø Mail: Set up email service and the maximum length is 18 characters.

Ø
Audio Alarm:
There are two shows available to mute. You can select an "Enable" or "Disable" alarm
when a related event occurs.
Turn on: If selected, the alarm will mute when related events occur.
Disable: If selected, the UPS sounds an alarm when a related event occurs.
n All Mute: When "enable" is selected, all errors and warnings are muted. This will display an
icon in the upper right corner of the main screen.
n Mute Mode: UPS status mode alarm on/off. If "Mute Mode" is enabled, an icon will appear
in the upper right corner of the main screen.

It is required to enter a password (4 digits) to access the "ADVANCE" page.

To access the "Advance User" Settings menu page è, the default password is "0000". If the password
entered is correct, the page will jump to the settings screen. If the password is incorrect, it will ask to
log in again.

There are three sub-menus under the "Advance User" settings è: ELECTRONICS, BATTERY and OTHERS.

Output VOL:
Select the rated output voltage.
n There are four options, 208V, 220V, 230V and 240V.

FREE output:
Select the rated frequency of the output.

50Hz:
Output frequency is set to 50Hz.

60Hz:
Output frequency is set to 60Hz.
Ø
CVCF mode
(constant voltage and constant frequency function)
n
Enable:
The CVCF function is enabled. The output frequency will be set at 50Hz or 60Hz according
to the "OP Freq." setting. The input frequency can be from 40Hz to 70Hz.

n Disable: The CVCF function is disabled. The output frequency will be synchronized with the bypass
frequency within 45~55 Hz for 50Hz systems or within 55~65 Hz for 60Hz systems. Disable is the default
setting.

Bypassing the Ban:
n
Enable
: Bypass prohibit is allowed. When selected, it is not allowed to run in Bypass mode under
any circumstances.
n
Disable
: Bypass prohibition is not allowed. When selected, the UPS will run in Bypass mode
depending on the "Bypass at UPS off" setting. This is the default setting.

Neutral Line Check
: Indicates neutral loss detection function.
n
Disable:
Disable the neutral path check function. The UPS will not detect whether the neutral line is
disconnected or not.
n
Auto:
The UPS will automatically detect whether neutral is missing or not. If neutral loss is detected,
an alarm will be generated. If the UPS is turned on, it will switch to battery mode. When the neutral
line is recovered and detected, the alarm will be turned off automatically and the UPS will return to
normal mode automatically.
n
Check:
The UPS will automatically detect neutral loss. If neutral loss is detected, an alarm will be
generated. If the UPS is turned on, it will switch to battery mode. When neutral is restored, the
alarm will NOT turn off automatically and the UPS will NOT return to normal mode automatically.

ISO Compensation
:
When the UPS is connected to the output isolation, it will compensate for the output voltage.

Bypass UPS off:
Select the bypass status when manually shutting down the UPS. This setting is only
available when "Bypass forbid". set to "Disable".

Enable
: Skip enabled. When selected, bypass mode is enabled.

Disable
: Skip is disabled. When selected, there is no output via bypass when manually shutting
down the UPS.

Shortcut Voltage Range:
Sets the shortcut voltage range.

L
: Low voltage point for bypass. The setting range is 176V ~209V when UPS is HV system. The
setting range is 96V ~110V when the UPS is an LV system.

H
: High voltage point for bypass. The setting range is 231V ~264V when UPS is HV system. The
setting range is 130V ~146V when the UPS is an LV system.

Bypass FRE Range:
Sets the bypass frequency range.
The acceptable bypass frequency range is from 46Hz to 54Hz when the UPS is a 50Hz system and from
56Hz to 64Hz when the UPS is a 60Hz system.

ECO mode:
Enable/Disable ECO mode. The default setting is "Disable".
Ø
ECO Vol range:
Set the ECO voltage range.

L:
Low voltage point for ECO mode. The regulatory range is from (Rated output voltage – 5V) to
(Rated output voltage – 11V). "Rated output voltage - 5V" is the default setting.
n
H:
High voltage point for ECO mode. The setting range is from (Rated output voltage +5V) to
(Rated output voltage +11V). "Rated output voltage +5V" is the default setting.

ECO FRE range:
Sets the ECO frequency range. The setting range is from 46Hz to 54Hz when the UPS
uses a 50Hz system and from 56Hz to 64Hz when the UPS uses a 60Hz system.

HIGH :
High battery warning voltage. The setting range is 14.0V ~15.0V. 14.4V is the default
setting.

LOW
: Low battery warning voltage. The setting range is 10.1V~14.0V. 11.4V is the default setting.
This parameter setting corresponds to the "Shutdown Voltage" setting. The value of this setting
must be higher than the "Shutdown Voltage" setting.

Turn off VOL:
If the battery voltage is lower than this point in battery mode, the UPS will turn off
automatically. The setting range is 10.5V ~12V. 10.7V is the default setting. (This setting is only available
for long-term models)

: Once "Enable" is set, no matter what the UPS state was before, it will restart to Online
mode automatically after the utility recovers.

Disable
: Once "Disable" is set, the UPS will operate normally. If the UPS is turned off due to low
battery, it will still restart to online mode after the utility recovers. If the UPS is manually shut
down and the utility recovers, it switches to standby mode or bypass mode depending on the UPS
configuration.

Shutdown Delay:
The UPS will shut down within minutes of setup. The countdown will begin after
confirming the pop-up screen.
Ø
Recover Delay: The UPS
will automatically restart within minutes of setup after the UPS is turned off.
Ø
New Password:
Set a new password to enter the "ADVANCEèUser" menu.

To access the Settings menu page "Advance èMaintainer" is required to enter the word joint. Please
contact your local dealer for a manager password.
ATTENTION:
This settings menu is for expert technicians only. Otherwise, misoperation will lead to UPS
damage.
There are nine sub-menus under the è"Advanced Maintainer" setting: SYS PARAMETER, INSTALL INFO,
VOL CALI, CURR CALI, INITIAL, ELECTRONIC, BATT, MISCELLANEOUS and UPS SELFTEST.
