1. SAFETY AND EMC INSTRUCTIONS
Please carefully read the following user instructions and safety instructions before installing the unit or
using the unit!
1-1. Transportation and Storage
Please transport UPS systems use only the original pakaging to protect against shocks and
impacts.
UPS should be stored in a ventilated and dry room.
1-2. Preparation
Condensation can occur if the UPS system is moved directly from a cold to warm environment.
The UPS system must be completely dry before installation. Please allow at least two hours for the UPS
to get used to its environment.
Do not install UPS systems near water or in humid environments.
Do not install a UPS system where it will be exposed to the sun directly or near the heater.
Do not cover the ventilation holes on the UPS.
1-3. Installation
Do not connect equipment or devices that would overload the UPS system *e.g. laser printer) to
the output of the UPS socket.
Place the cable in such a way that no one can step on it or trip.
Do not block the air vents on the UPS. The UPS should be placed in a location with ventilation
which is good. Make sure there is enough space for ventilation on each side.
UPS has provided a Grounding terminal, at the last installation, connect the UPS grounding to
the UPS battery external cabinet.
UPS should only be installed by expert and qualified personnel.
A suitable switch brake for short-circuit protection must
provided in building cabling installations.
An integrated emergency switch single switch will prevent further supply to the load by the UPS;
in some cases this must be provided in the cabling installation of the building.
Connect the grounding before connecting to the wiring terminals of the building.
Installation and Wiring shall be carried out in accordance with electrical laws and regulations

1-4. Connection Warning
• There is no standard feedback protection inside, please make sure the UPS has been isolated with
safe before installation. The UPS isolation device must be able to carry current to the UPS input.

It is estimated that it can cause the failure of life support equipment or significantly
affecting its safety or effectiveness is not recommended. Do not use this equipment in
front of a mixture of flammable anesthesia with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.
• Connect your UPS power module's grounding terminal to a grounding electrode conductor. Connect
grounding terminal module of your UPS module to the earthing electrode conductor
• The UPS is connected to a DC energy source (battery). Terminal output may turn on when the UPS is
not connected to AC supply
1-5. Operation
Do not occasionally disconnect conductor grounding cables on UPS or building wiring terminals as this will
eliminate the protection of the UPS system and all connected loads.
The UPS system has its own internal source (battery). The UPS output socket or output terminal block may
have electricity even if the UPS system is not connected to the building's wiring outlet.
To completely disconnect the UPS system, first press the "OFF" button and then disconnect the electrical
connection.
Make sure no liquids or other foreign matter can enter the UPS system.
UPS can be operated by any individual with no prior experience.

2. INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
2-1. Unpacking and Inspection
Open the package and check the contents of the package. The shipping package contains:
a. One UPS Unit
b. One user manual
c. One CD of monitoring software
d. One RS-232 cable (option)
e. One USB cable
f. One battery cable (option)
Note:
Before installation, please check the unit. Make sure that none of the parts inside the package are
damaged during transportation. Do not turn on the unit and notify the seller and dealer immediately if
there is any damage or deficiency in some parts. Please keep the original package in a safe place for
future use.

2-3. One UPS Installation
Installation and wiring must be done in accordance with local electrical laws/regulations and carried
out the following instructions by professional personnel.
1) Make sure the electrical wiring and breakers in the building are sufficient for UPS capacity to avoid
the danger of electric shock or fire.
NOTE:
Do not use a wall socket as an input power source for the UPS, because its current capacity
is less than the maximum input current of the UPS. Another thing that can happen, the socket can
burn and will be destroyed.
2) Turn off electrical switches in the building before installation.
3) Turn off all connected devices before connecting to the UPS.
4) Prepare the cable based on the following table:

NOTE 1:
It is recommended to use the appropriate cable in the table above or thicker
for safety and efficiency.
NOTE 2:
The choice of cable color must be followed by local electrical laws and regulations.
1) Remove the terminal block cover on the back panel of the UPS. Then connect the wires according to the
following terminal block diagram: (Connect the ground wire first when making the wire connection.
Disconnect the last ground wire connection when making a cable break!)

NOTE 1:
Make sure that the cable is firmly connected with the terminals.
NOTE 2:
Install an output breaker between the output terminal and the load, and the breaker
(breaker) must be qualified with current leakage protection function if

2) Attach the terminal block cover back to the back panel of the UPS.
Warning:
(For standard models only)
• Make sure the UPS is not turned on before installation begins. The UPS does not have to be turned
on during wired connection.
• Do not attempt to modify the standard model to a Long-Run model. In particular, do not try

different. If you connect the two, it may cause harm electric shock or fire!

Warning

• Make sure the DC breaker or other protection device between the UPS and the external battery is plugged
in. If not, please install carefully. Turn off the Battery breaker before installation.
NOTE:
Set the breaker on the external battery in the "OFF" position and then plug it in External battery.
• Pay close attention to the rated battery voltage marked on the back panel. If you want to
change the battery number, make sure you change the settings at the same time. Splicing
with the wrong battery voltage can cause permanent damage to the UPS. Make sure
The battery voltage is correct.
• Pay close attention to the polarity markings on the external battery terminal blocks, and confirm polarity
The correct battery is connected. Incorrect connection can cause permanent damage to UPS.
• Make sure the protective ground cable is properly seated. Current value, color specifications, position,

2-4. Software Installation
For optimal computer system protection, install UPS monitoring software to fully configure shutting down the UPS.
3. OPERATION
3-1. Operation buttons

ON/Enter key
Ø Turn on the UPS: Press and hold the button for more than 1 second to turn on the
UPS.
Ø Enter key: Press this key to enter the settings menu and select its settings.
OFF/ESC button
Ø Turn off the UPS: Press and hold the button for more than 1 second to turn off the
UPS.
Ø Esc key: Press this key to return to the last menu in the settings menu.
Test/Up button
Ø Battery test: Press and hold the button for more than 0.5 seconds to test the battery
while in AC mode and CVCF mode.
Ø UP button: Press this button to display the next option in the settings menu.
Mute/Down button
Ø Leave the alarm: Press and hold the button for more than 1 second to turn off the
buzzer. Please see section 3-4 "Silence the buzzer" for more details.
Ø Down button: Press this button to display the previous selection in the settings menu.
Test/Up +
Mute/Down button
Ø Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for more than 1 second to enter/exit the
settings menu.
* The CVCF means Converter Mode.
