Switching on Press and hold the Power button on the top of the phone.
Unlocking the keypad
The MP02 keypad is automatically locked after 30 secs by default (when it is locked, the screen will go
black). To unlock: short-press the Power button and then press the Punkt key.
To change the auto-lock setting:
• Press the Punkt key to access the main menu.
• Scroll down and select Settings.
• In Settings, select Preferences then Auto-lock and choose the preferred option.
Battery & signal levels
There are no permanent battery or signal indicators on the Home screen of the MP02. However, when
battery charge drops below 20% left a warning is shown. Similarly, if the signal is low this is indicated.
You can check battery and signal levels at any time by pressing the Up arrow key and accessing the
Status menu.
Setting a passcode
From the Home screen press the Punkt key to access the main menu.
• Select Settings and press the Punkt key.
• Select Security and press the Punkt key.
• Select Passcode and press the Punkt key.
Finding the WAP password for tethering
From the Home screen press the Punkt key to access the main menu.
• Select Settings and press the Punkt key.
• Select Tethering and press Punkt key.
• Select Password and press the Punkt key.
Importing contacts Contacts are imported in the vCard format (*.vcf)

The Importing from an Android or iOS device via Bluetooth
• Activate Bluetooth on the source device.
• Activate Bluetooth on the MP02:
• From the Home screen press the Up arrow key to access the Status menu.
o Scroll down to Bluetooth is Off.
o Press the Punkt key to turn Bluetooth On.
o Press the Back key to return to the Home screen.

• On the Android/iOS device:
o From the source device’s contacts application, select the contact (or all
contacts) to be shared from the source device’s contacts program.
o Select Share.
o Select send files via Bluetooth.
o Select MP02 from the list of devices shown.
• An ‘Incoming File <filename.vcf>’ notification will appear on the MP02:
o Select Accept.
o Press the Contacts key.
o Select Manage Contacts and press the Punkt key.
o Select Restore Contacts and press the Punkt key to view <filename.vcf>.
o Press the Punkt key and select Yes on Restore Contacts.
o Press the Punkt key to confirm.

• Your contacts are now imported to the MP02 Contacts.
• If desired, switch offBluetooth on both devices to save power.

Importing from a Mac or Windows PC via USB
If importing from a Mac, ensure that a Mac-to-Android file transfer application is
installed.
(e.g. https://www.android.com/filetransfer/).
• Connect the MP02 to the PC using the USB‑C cable provided.
• From the MP02’s Home screen press the Up arrow key to access the Status
menu.
• Under USB Connection, press the Punkt key to change from Charge only to
Sync mode.
Mac
• Open the appropriate program (Contacts, Outlook, Gmail, etc.) and select and
exportthecontact (or all contacts) invCardformat.
• Give the file a name (<filename.vcf>) and save it on the Desktop.
• Launch the Mac file transfer application (if it has not started automatically).
• Locate the Contacts folder. If the Contacts folder isn’t listed then create a new
folder at the root and name it Contacts: Android File Transfer: File > New Folder,
then type the name 'Contacts'.
• Copy the vCard file from the Mac to the MP02 Contacts folder.
• On the MP02:
o Go to Contacts > Manage Contacts > Restore Contacts <filename.vcf>.
o Select the vCard file <filename.vcf> that has just been transferred.
o Press the Punkt key to confirm. Your contacts will then be imported.
• Disconnect the MP02.

Windows
• Open the appropriate application (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) and select and
exportthecontact (or all contacts) invCardformat.
• Give the file a name <filename.vcf> and save it on the Windows Desktop.
• Locate the MP02’s storage area (PC\MP02\Internal shared storage\Contacts) and
open the Contacts folder
• Copy the vCard file from Windows Desktop to the MP02 Contacts folder.
• On the MP02:
o Go to Contacts > Manage Contacts > Restore Contacts<filename.vcf>.
o Select the vCard file <filename.vcf> that you have just transferred.
o Press the Punkt key to confirm. Your contacts will then be imported.
Updating the MP02’s firmware
It is not necessary to insert a SIM card to follow this procedure.
• Ensure the MP02 has sufficient charge (at least 50%).
• Unlock the phone.
• Press the Punkt key to access the main menu.
• Scroll to Settings and press the Punkt key again.
• Select and press Connectivity.
• Scroll down to and select Wi-Fi.
• Connect to an available network.
• Press the End key to return to the home page.
• Press the Punkt key.
• Scroll down to and select Settings.
• Scroll down to and select About.
• Scroll down to and select Firmware.
• Scroll to and select Check for update.
• The new software will be installed and the MP02 will be rebooted.

Anschalten Halten Sie die Ein / Aus-Taste oben am Telefon gedrückt.
Entsperren der Tastatur
Die Tastatur des MP02 wird standardmäßig nach 30 Sekunden automatisch gesperrt (wenn sie gesperrt
ist, wird der Bildschirm schwarz). Entsperren: Drücken Sie kurz die Ein / Aus-Taste und dann die
Punkt-Taste.
So ändern Sie die Einstellung für die automatische Sperre:
• Drücken Sie die Punkt-Taste, um das Hauptmenü aufzurufen.
• Blättern Sie nach unten und wählen Sie Einstellungen.
• Wählen Sie in den Einstellungen Voreinstellungen und dann Auto-Lock und wählen Sie die
gewünschte Option
Batterie- und Signalpegel
Auf dem Home-Bildschirm des MP02 befinden sich keine permanenten Batterie- oder Signalanzeigen.
Wenn jedoch die Batterieladung unter 20% fällt, wird eine Warnung angezeigt. Wenn das Signal niedrig
ist, wird dies ebenfalls angezeigt.
Sie können den Batterie- und Signalpegel jederzeit überprüfen, indem Sie die Aufwärtspfeiltaste
drücken und auf das Statusmenü zugreifen.
PIN code einstellen

Importieren von einem Android- oder iOS-Gerät über Bluetooth
• Aktivieren Sie Bluetooth auf dem Quellgerät.
• Bluetooth am MP02 aktivieren:
o Drücken Sie auf dem Startbildschirm die Aufwärtspfeiltaste, um das
Statusmenü aufzurufen.
o Scrollen Sie nach unten, bis Bluetooth deaktiviert ist.
o Drücken Sie die Punkt-Taste, um Bluetooth einzuschalten.
o Drücken Sie die Zurück-Taste, um zum Startbildschirm zurückzukehren.
• Auf dem Android / iOS-Gerät:
o Wählen Sie in der Kontaktanwendung des Quellgeräts den Kontakt (oder
alle Kontakte) aus, der im Kontaktprogramm des Quellgeräts freigegeben
werden soll.
o Wählen Sie Share.
o Wählen Sie die Option zum Senden von Dateien über Bluetooth.
o Wählen Sie MP02 aus der Liste der angezeigten Geräte. Select MP02 from
the list of devices shown.
• Auf dem MP02 wird eine Benachrichtigung über "Incoming File <Dateiname.vcf>"
angezeigt:
o Wählen Sie Akzeptieren.
o Drücken Sie die Kontakttaste.
o Wählen Sie Kontakte verwalten und drücken Sie die Punkt-Taste.
o Wählen Sie Kontakte wiederherstellen und drücken Sie die Punkt-Taste,
um <Dateiname.vcf> anzuzeigen.

Import von einem Mac oder Windows-PC über USB

• Suchen Sie den Kontakteordner. Wenn der Ordner Kontakte nicht aufgeführt ist,
erstellen Sie einen neuen Ordner im Stammverzeichnis und nennen Sie ihn
Kontakte: Android-Dateiübertragung: Datei> Neuer Ordner. Geben Sie dann den
Namen 'Kontakte' ein.
• Kopieren Sie die vCard-Datei vom Mac in den Ordner "MP02 Contacts".
• Auf dem MP02:
o Gehen Sie zu Kontakte> Kontakte verwalten> Kontakte wiederherstellen
<Dateiname.vcf>.
o Wählen Sie die vCard-Datei <Dateiname.vcf> aus, die gerade übertragen
wurde.
o Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die Punkt-Taste. Ihre Kontakte werden dann

• Trennen Sie den MP02.

Aktualisieren der Firmware des MP02

Accendere il MP02 Tieni premuto il tasto di accensione nella parte superiore del telefono.
Sbloccare la tastiera
La tastiera dell’MP02 si blocca automaticamente di default dopo 30 secondi (quando è bloccata, lo
schermo diventa nero). Per sbloccare: premere brevemente il pulsante di accensione e quindi premere
il tasto Punkt.

Per modificare le impostazioni di blocco automatico:
• Premere il tasto Punkt per accedere al menu principale.
• Scorrere verso il basso e selezionare Impostazioni.
• In Impostazioni, selezionare Preferenze, quindi Blocco automatico e scegli l'opzione preferita.
Batteria e livelli di segnale
Non ci sono indicatori permanenti di batteria o segnale nella schermata Home dell'MP02. Tuttavia,
quando la carica della batteria scende al di sotto del 20%, viene visualizzato un avviso nella schermata
Home. Allo stesso modo, se il segnale è basso, verrà indicato nella schermata Home.
È possibile controllare i livelli della batteria e del segnale in qualsiasi momento premendo il tasto Su e
accedendo al menu du stato.

Importazione da un dispositivo Android o iOS tramite Bluetooth
• Attivare il Bluetooth sul dispositivo sorgente.
• Attivare il Bluetooth sull'MP02:
o Dalla schermata Home, premere il tasto Su per accedere al menu di Stato.
o Scorrere verso il basso fino a Bluetooth disattivato.
o Premere il tasto Punkt per attivare il Bluetooth.
o Premere il tasto Indietro per tornare alla schermata Home.
• Sul dispositivo Android / iOS:
o Dall'applicazione Contatti del dispositivo di origine, selezionare il contatto (o
tutti i contatti) da condividere.
o Selezionare Condividi.
o Selezionare Invia file tramite Bluetooth.
o Selezionare MP02 dall'elenco dei dispositivi visualizzati.
• Una notifica 'Incoming File <filename.vcf>' apparirà sull'MP02:
o Selezionare Accetta.
o Premere il tasto Contatti.
o Selezionare Gestisci contatti e premere il tasto Punkt.
o Selezionare Ripristina contatti e premere il tasto Punkt per visualizzare
<filename.vcf>.
o Premere il tasto Punkt e selezionare Sì su Ripristina contatti.

• I contatti vengono cosi importati nei Contatti MP02.
• Se lo si desidera, disattivare il Bluetooth su entrambi i dispositivi per risparmiare
energia.

Importazione da un Mac o PC Windows tramite USB
Se si importa da un Mac, assicurarsi che sia installata un'applicazione di trasferimento
file da Mac a Android (ad esempio https://www.android.com/filetransfer/).
• Collegare l'MP02 al PC utilizzando il cavo USB C in dotazione.
• Dalla schermata Home dell’MP02, premere il tasto Su per accedere al menu di
Stato.
• Durante la connessione USB, premere il tasto Punkt per passare dalla modalità di
Carica a quella di sincronizzazione.
Mac
• Aprire il programma appropriato (Contatti, Outlook, Gmail, ecc.) e selezionare ed
esportare il contatto (o tutti i contatti) in formato vCard.
• Assegnare un nome al file (<filename.vcf>) e salvarlo sul desktop.
• Avviare l'applicazione di trasferimento file Mac (se non è stata avviata
automaticamente).
• Individuare la cartella Contatti. Se la cartella Contatti non è elencata, creare una
nuova cartella nella radice e denominarla Contatti: Trasferimento file Android:
File> Nuova cartella, quindi digitare il nome "Contatti".
• Copiare il file vCard dal Mac alla cartella Contatti MP02.
• Sull'MP02:
o Contatti> Gestisci contatti> Ripristina contatti <nomefile.vcf>.
o Selezionare il file vCard <filename.vcf> appena trasferito.
o Premere il tasto Punkt per confermare. I contatti verranno quindi importati.
• Disconnettere l'MP02.

Windows

o Contatti> Gestisci contatti> Ripristina contatti <nomefile.vcf>.

Aggiornamento del firmware dell’MP02
Non è necessario inserire una scheda SIM per seguire questa procedura.
• Assicurarsi che l'MP02 abbia la batteria sufficientemente carica (almeno
il 50%).
• Sbloccare il telefono.
• Premere il tasto Punkt per accedere al menu principale.
• Scorrere fino a Impostazioni e premere di nuovo il tasto Punkt.
• Selezionare e premere Connettività.
• Scorrere verso il basso e selezionare Wi-Fi.
• Connettersi a una rete disponibile.
• Premere il tasto Fine per tornare alla pagina iniziale.
• Premere il tasto Punkt.
• Scorrere verso il basso e selezionare Impostazioni.
• Scorrere verso il basso e selezionare Info.
• Scorrere verso il basso e seleziona Firmware.
• Scorrere fino a selezionare Verifica la disponibilità di aggiornamenti
• Il nuovo software verrà installato e l'MP02 verrà riavviato.
