Safety Instructions
To use this tool correctly, you must
observe the Safety Regulations, the
Assembly Instructions and the Operation
Instructions contained in this Manual.
All persons who use and service the
machine must be acquainted with this
Manual and must be informed about any
potential hazards.
Children and inrm people must not use
this tool. Children must be supervised at
all times if they are in the area in which
the tool is being used.
It is also imperative that you observe the
accident prevention regulations in force in
your area. The same applies for general
rules of occupational health and safety.
• Make sure that the cutting disc is correctly
screened by the guard.
• Never remove the riving knife. The distance
between the cutting disc and the riving knife
should not exceed 5 mm.
• Do not use cutting discs which are bent,
deformed or otherwise damaged.
• Do not use cutting discs which do not comply
with the specications stated in this manual.
• Never start cutting tiles before the machine
reaches full speed.
• Never attempt to cut extremely
small workpieces.
• Do not leave the work area until the
machine has been switched off and the cutting
disc has come to a complete standstill.
• Never attempt to stop the cutting disc by
exerting pressure on the side of the disc.
• Before use check the pump for damage.
Should the pump be damaged, it must not be
used.
• Never let the pump run dry.
• Never lift the pump by the mains cable or
hose, but only by the housing.
• Always unplug the machine before
performing any maintenance.
• Do not use the machine before it has been
completely assembled and installed
according to the instructions.
• Do not perform any design, assembly or
construction activities on the table while the
machine is switched on.
• Unplug the machine and clean the table
before leaving the work area.

• Ensure that the mains voltage corresponds
to the instruction plate - a single phase
socket with two contacts and an earth is
obligatory.
• Use an approved RCD circuit breaker
between the machine and the electrical
power point.
• To reduce the risk of unintentional starting,
make sure that the switch is in the OFF
position before plugging in.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn cable
immediately after rst disconnecting from
mains supply.
• Electrical faults must only be carried out by
a qualied electrician.
• Immediately switch off the saw in the
case of:
- Excessive sparking of the brushes
- Malfunction of the main plug, socket
or damaged cables
- Broken switch
- Smoke or smell caused by scorched
insulation
• WARNING-To reduce the risk of electrocution,
keep all connections dry. Do not touch the plug with
wet hands. Ensure that water cannot run back along
the cable from the machine and into the plug socket.

IMPORTANT
For best results with your new TC620 - 800W
Bridge Saw allow the blade to do the work, rather
than forcing the tile through the machine. Should
the blade stop, simply ease the tile away and
then continue cutting using slightly less pressure.

Assembly & Operation Operating Instructions
Remove the saw from its carton, lay carefully on
its side.
Unfasten blade carriage retaining bolt.
To switch the machine on, set the on/off
switch to ‘-’.
To switch the machine off, set the on/off switch
to ‘O’.
Push the blade carriage to its furthest point away
from the operator. Place the tile in position on the
cutting table so that it rests against the measuring
scale and mitre guide.
Set the size of cut required on the measuring
scale and lock the mitre guide.
Switch on the machine.
Pull the blade carriage steadily towards you,
cutting through the tile. When the cut is complete,
switch off the machine, removing the cut tile
pieces and any debris.

Always use the following procedure, in the order
given, when assembling the water reservoir.
Mount the rst table leg in place. Mount the rst
cushion in the leg. Mount the water reservoir.
Mount the other 3 legs according to the same
instructions. Tighten all parts.
Put the water reservoir straight up.

Place the tile in position on the cutting table so
that it rests against the measuring scale and the
mitre guide.
Tilt the bridge to the desired angle (up to 45O) and
re-tighten.
Loosen the winged screw on the mitre guide and
set the angle of cut required.

When the cut is complete, switch off the machine,

Whilst holding the shaft with the spanner wrench,
turn the blade retaining nut clockwise to release
using the hex wrench.
Ensure that the new blade is correctly seated
against the shaft and that the directional arrow
matches that on the blade guard. Replace the
ange and nut, taking care not to overtighten.
Rotate blade to ensure correct alignment.
Replace the blade guard and tighten all parts.
Remove the cover retaining screws and take off
the blade guard.
To empty the water remove the plug at the
bottom of the water tray.

Maintenance
• The machine does not require any special
maintenance.
• Regularly remove grindings from the
housing and the covers.
• The unit must not be operated if the mains
connection lead is not in perfect condition.
• Replacement mains connection leads
must not differ from the versions indicated
by the manufacturer Mains connection
cable: (H05 RN-F 3x1.0 mm²).
• Do not operate a defective unit.
• Servicing only by an authorized
after-sales service point.
• Use only for operations for which the unit
is intended.
