that hasa grounding
conductoranda
groundingplug.
The
plug
must
be
plugged
intoamatching
outletthatis
properly
installed
and
grounded in accordancewith all local codes
andordinances.

1.To
avoid
the possibility
of the appliance
plug
or receptacle
getting
wet,position
the sawto onesideof a wall mounted
receptacle
to
prevent
waterfrom dripping
ontothe receptacle
or plug.
Theuser
should
arrangea "drip
loop"in thecordconnecting
thesawto a
receptacle.
The
"drip
loop"
isthat
part
ofthe
cordbelowthelevel
of
the receptacle,
or the connector
if an extensioncord is used,to
prevent
water
traveling
alongthecordandcomingin contact
with
thereceptacle.
2.lf
the plug or receptacle
does
get wet, DON'T
unplugthe cord.
Disconnect
the fuseor circuit
breaker
that supplies
power
to the
saw, then unplug and examine
for the presence
of water in
the
receptacle.

cords.Do not usedamaged
extensioncords.Examineextension

not abuseextensioncords and do not yank on any cord to disconnect.Keep
cord away from heatand sharp
edges.Always disconnectthe extensioncord from the receptacle
beforedisconnecting
the productfrom the
extensioncord.

E.SPECIFICOPERATIONGUIDE
1. Ensurethatthe directional
arrow marked
on the bladecorrespondswiththe rotational
directionof the motor.
2. With the saw disconnected from the power supply, rotate the blade by hand to ensure it is free
from obstruction.
3. Alwayskeep
theblade-securingarborandcollarsclean.
4. Ensure
thattheblade-securingboltissecurelytightened.
5. Never
try to cutfreehand.Alwaysensurethatthe tileto becut is pressed
firmly againstthe ripfence.
6. Ensurethattheworkpiecethatwill becut off has
sufficientroomto movesideways.Failure
to do so may result
inthe off-cutbindingagainstthe blade.
7. Never
cutmorethanonetileatatime.
8. Nevercut pieces
too smallthat are not heldsecurelyagainstthe ripfence,and provideenoughspace
for the
hand
to beasafedistance
from
theblade.
9. Ensurethatthetableandsurrounding
areaareclear
with
theexceptionofthetileto becut.
10.Beforecutting a tile piece,
letthe saw bladerun freelyfor a few seconds.lf it makes
an unfamiliarsound or
vibratesexcessively,switchit off immediately
anddisconnectitfrom the powersupply.
11.Let
theblade
reachfull
speedbeforecommencingthecut.
12.Let the blade come to a complete stop before removing any jammed material from around the
bladearea.
13.Never
allowthebladeto rundry.Failureto keep
the
water
trayatthe
recommended
levelwillresultin
possible
over-heatingofthediamond
blade.

A. Avoid usinglongextensioncords.
B. Always place
the sawon a flat surfaceto prevent
it from tipping over.
Whileusingthe saw;
1. Neveruse-cracked
diamondblades.replacethem
2. Besurethattheswitch
isintheOFF
"OFF'Lposition
beforeconnectingthe sawto the mainvoltage.
3. Always keep
awaythe main leadfrom moving parts
of the saw.
4. Donotapplyside-pressuretothediamondblade.
ltcanbreakthebladeandcause
harm.
5. Removethe plug out of thewall socketbefore
you makeany repairs
or replace
blade.

FUNCTIONAL
DESCRIPTION
AND OPERATION
STARTING
ANDSTOPPING
1.Connect
theunitto a power
supplyofthe
correct
voltageand
frequency
(120V-60H2).
2. To
start
thesawpress
theswitch
to the
"ON"position
(Fig
3).
3. Tostopthesaw,
press
the
switchtothe "OFF"
position
(Fig
3).
WARNING:
For
your
own
safety,always
position
theswitchto
the"0ff"position
whenthesaw
isnotin
use.
lntheeventofa
power
failure,blown
fuse
or
trippedcircuitbreaker,
press
switch
to
the
"0t["position.
Thiswill prevent
thetool
from
starting
upagain
when
the
power
comesbackon.
ASSEMBLY
Read
the manual
carefullybeforeassembly.
1.
Clean
the
workingarea.
2. Remove
saw
fromcarton,
you
willfind
it
assembled.
3. Lay
thesaw
on
its
side
onthe
ground
(Fig
a).
4. Pulloutthestand
legs,
andthe
supportbrackets
(Fig
5-1).
Attach
the
bracketstothelegswiththe
supplied
nuts
(Fig
5-2l'.
5. Standthesaw
upright,
then
put
thesteel
net
betweenthestand
legs
(Fig
6).

onrightleg

FILLING
THEWATER
TRAY
AND DRAINING
1.Fill
the
tray
with
water.
Donot
add
chemicals
or
detergents
to thewater.
2. Remove
the
plug
from
thebottomof
thetray,
the
water
willflowout
or
you
canremove
thetray
and
pour
thewater
out
(Fig
10).
MAKING
A STRAIGHT
CUT
1.Push
themotor
trolley
awayfrom
the
operator
untilit reaches
thestrokelimit.
2. Position
thetileon
thecutting
table.
3. Properly
setthemeasuring
guide
and
squaring
tool
(Fig
11).
4.Adjust
the
guides
asneeded
sothatthe
tile
rests
against
the
measuring
guide
andsquaring
tool
(Fig
12).
Pull
themotor
trolleyslowly
towards
thematerial
to becut
(Fig
13).
When
youhave
completed
thecut
push
motor
trolley/blade
awayandremove
the
cut
pieces,
and
anydebris
oncutting
surfaces.
MAKING
A DIAGONAL
CUT
1.Follow
thesame
procedure
for
astraight
cut.
2.
Loosen
thenut
onthesquaring
tool,and
position
the
tilediagonally
(Fig
13).
3.Lock
thenut
and
perform
the
cutfollowing
procedure
forastraight
cut.
ANGLED
OR
45DEGREE
CUTS
1.
Loosen
the
two knobs
ateither
endof
the
bridge
(Fig
1a).
2.Tilt
bridgeto
thedesired
angle
upto 45
degrees
(Fig
15).Tighten
knobs
at
either
endofbridge,
and
proceed
with
cutting
tilefollowing
same
procedure
as
listed
in
the"straight
cut"section.
