How to use and care for your
Adjustable Slipping Torque Wrenches
Tool Specication
Models: (TCW 5: 1.0 – 5.0 Nm, TCW 10: 2.0 – 10.0 Nm)
(TCW 45: 10.0 – 45.0 lbf.in, TCW 90: 20.0 – 90.0 lbf.in)
Repeatability: +/- 6% of Torque Setting for all models
ISO 6789 Class: Type 2, Class A
Calibration Period: Every 12 Months or 5000 cycles (minimum)
Mechanism: Slipping - Incorrect tightening is impossible
EPA Compliant
At the set torque, the handle slips free
then resets ready for the next use.
Safety & Maintenance
This Torque Tool is a precision instrument and should
be used for its intended purpose only
Only hold the tool using the handgrip
Always ensure that the tool is in correct alignment with the fastener
Torque tools should be regularly calibrated and inspected to ensure
correct operation
Ensure the tool is clean and free from oil, grease and water before use
Do not use extension bars to increase the leverage of the handle
Never dip into cleaning fluid or petroleum

How to adjust your Torque Wrench
To check setting:
Read the scale on the tool or use a Torque
Analyser.
To adjust the torque setting:
Pull lock knob down to unlock tool.
To increase torque:
Rotate handle until the desired torque is shown on the scale, then engage
lock by pressing lock knob in.
To use Torque Wrench:
The TCW Wrench is designed for use with sockets.
Servicing Information
Regular servicing of your Torque Tool by competent personnel is important
to ensure it continues to per form correctly.
