• This tool is not intended to be used by people (children included) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons lacking experience or knowledge,
unless they were able to benefit from a person responsible for their safety, monitoring
or screening instructions regarding the use of the device. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the tool.
• Do not alter or modify this tool from the original design and without manufacturer’s
authorization always use the tool for its intended use.

Avoid weakening or damaging the tool, for example by:
• punching or engraving;
• modification not authorized by the manufacturer;
• guiding against templates made of hard material such as steel;
• dropping or pushing across the floor;
• use the equipment as a hammer;
• applying excessive force of any kind.
Special fields of application for the tool may require the observance of additional
provisions and regulations (for example working in areas subject to an explosion hazard).
Stands for mounting the tool to a support, for example to a work table, shall be designed
and constructed by the stand manufacturer in such a way that the tool can be safely fixed
for the intended use.
• To prevent eye injuries, always wear safety glasses with permanently attached rigid,
hard plastic side shields. Be sure everyone in your work area is wearing the same type
of safety glasses.
• Wear and do wear individual ear protection close to the tool use.
• Wear any other necessary protection equipment such as gloves and adapted working
clothes. Tie back your hair and do not wear loose clothing.
• Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide or any other bottled gas as a power source for this
tool. The tool could explode and serious personal injury could result.
Tools marked with an equilateral triangle may not be used unless fitted with an effective
safety yoke.
Use recommended original fasteners only, as well as spare parts and accessories.
Quick-action couplings shall be used for connection to the compressed air system in
such a way that no compressed air remains in the tool after disconnection.
• Ensure all air couplings are secure and tight.
• Do not keep the tool unattended when it is connected to the air supply.
• When tool is not in use always disconnect it from the air supply.
• Disconnect tool from air before doing tool maintenance, clearing a jammed fastener,
leaving work area, moving tool to another location, or handing the tool to another
person.
• Do not perform any ”emergency repairs” without proper tools and equipment.
• Never use the tool that leaks air, has damaged, missing parts or needs repair.
• Always assume the tool contains fasteners.
• Keep the tool pointed away from yourself and others at any time.
• Always remove finger from trigger when not driving fasteners.
• Never carry the tool with finger on or under the trigger as accidental actuation may
occur and cause injury.
• Always maintain proper footing and place yourself in a firmly balance position when
using or handling the tool.

• Keep hands and body away from the discharge area of the tool.
• Never use tool if safety yoke, trigger or springs have become inoperable missing
or damaged.
• Do not tamper with or remove safety yoke, trigger or springs.
• Do not drive fasteners on top of other fasteners, the fasteners can ricochet and
hurt someone.
• Do not discharge fasteners into concrete, stone, or any material too hard for the
fastener to penetrate.
• Do not drive fasteners close to the edge of the work surface.
• The workpiece maysplit causing the fastener to ricochet, fly free or hit someone.
• Keep face and body away from back of the tool cap when working in restricted areas.
Sudden recoil can result in hard impact to the body.
• Never use tool in the presence of flammable dust, gases or fumes. The tool may
produce a spark that could ignite gases causing a fire and cause the tool to explode.
• Be aware of material thickness when using the nailer.

3. COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM

Maxi 8 bar • The tool shall not be connected to pressure which potentially exceeds recommended
operating pressure by 10%.
• In the case of higher pressures, a pressure reducing valve which includes
a downstream safety valve shall be built into the compressed air supply.
• Use only clean, dry regulated compressed air at recommended pressure.

• Connect the tool to the compressed air supply using suitable pressure
hose equipped with quick-action connectors.
• The compressor plant shall be adequately dimensioned in terms of
pressure output and performance (volumetric flow) for the consumption
which is to be expected.
• Line sections which are too small in relation to the length of the line (pipes
and hoses), as well as overloading the compressor, will result in pressure
drops.
• Easily accessible water separators should be installed at the lowest points.
• Connecting points for the tools should be fitted with a compressed air servicing unit
(filter/water separator/oiler) directly at the junction point.
• Oilers must be checked on a daily basis and if necessary topped up with the
recommended grade of oil (see technical specification).
• Where hose lengths of over 10 m are used, the oil supply for the tool cannot be
guaranteed, it is therefore recommend that 2 to 5 drops (depending on the loading
of the tool) of the recommended oil (see technical specifications) should be added
via the air inlet of the tool, or an oiler attached directly to the fastener driving tool.
4. OPERATING
4.1 Loading

• Disconnect the tool from air supply before loading the tool.
Open the magazine
• Pull down door latch and swing the door, then swing magazine cover open.
Automatic sliding for nail holder
The nail holder will slide out automatically once magazine cover open, easy for user to
reload the nails.
• Pull pusher (B) back into”locked” (C) position.
• Insert strip of nails into the top of the magazine (A). Do not load with safety or trigger
depressed.
• Release pusher by pressing latch and pulling pusher together lightly to disengage,
slide pusher against nails.
4.2 Tool use
• Keep tool pointed away from yourself and others and connect tool to air supply.
• Tool actuation is full sequential actuation mode.
• With your finger off the trigger, place the safety yoke on the surface of the material the
nail will be driven into. Apply pressure pressing the safety yoke all the way down.
• Pull the trigger to shoot a nail into the material.
• The tool will not shoot again until the trigger is released and the safety yoke is removed
completely from the material being used.
• To fire the next nail, repeat the steps above.
• Tools shall be operated at the lowest pressure needed for the application. This will
reduce noise levels, part wear and energy use.
• Adjust the mini pressure which is necessary for the penetration of the nails.
• Then test, starting with the lowest pressure.

4.3 Adjusting depth penetration
• The depth that the nail is driven can be adjusted using the depth adjustment next to
the nose of the tool.
1. To drive a nail shallow, turn the wheel (A) to right to the extent desired.
2. To drive a nail deep, turn the wheel to left to the extent desired.
3. Make sure that the trigger and safety yoke move freely up and down without binding
or sticking after each adjustment.
4.4 No-mar pad
• If the work surface need to be protected from scratches, attach the no-mar pad
on the nose.
• Attach the no-mar pad on the nose when driving nails to a soft material and protect
work surface from scratches.
• Put the no-mar pad on the hanger when not in use and carry it around together with
the tool.
Operation in cold weather:
• Do not store the tool in a cold weather environment in order to prevent frost or ice
from forming on the tool’s operating valves and mechanisms. This could cause tool
failure.
• When operation tools at temperatures near and below freezing, the moisture in the air
line may freeze and prevent tool operation.
1. Reduce the air pressure to 5.5 bar or less.
2. Remove all nails from magazine.
3. Connect air and free-fire (blank-fire) the tool. Slow speed operation tends to warm
up the moving part.
Operation in hot weather:
• Keep tool out of direct sunlight as excessive heat can deteriorate bumpers, o-rings
and other rubber parts resulting in increased maintenance.
5. LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE
• The tool should be serviced properly and at regular intervals in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.
• While tool is disconnected from air supply, make daily inspection to ensure free
movement of safety yoke and trigger.
• Only use supplied oil or oil recommended in the technical specifications on the tool.
Squirt oil lightly with 2 or 5 oil drops into air inlet.
• Clean magazine, pusher, and safety yoke periodically.
• Lubricate the sliding parts of the magazine occasionally to prevent wear.
• Keep the tool clean and inspect for wear. Do not use flammable cleaning solutions.
• Do not use detergent oil or additives or solvent as they will damage o-rings and
rubber parts.
• Drain compressor tanks and hoses daily.
• Make sure all screws and caps are securely tightened at all times. Loose screws result
in unsafe operation and parts breakage.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING
• Disconnect air from tool before all repairs.
• Stop using the tool immediately if any of the following problems occur.
NOTE: Serious personal injury could occur.
• Any repairs or replacements must be done by a qualified person or an authorized
service center only.
• Should a nail jam occur, disconnect air supply from tool, keep the tool pointed away
from you and follow these instructions to clear.
• Release magazine and slide the rail back.
• Remove jammed fasteners.
