Zählmaschine rapidcount S entschieden haben.
Mit dem Kauf dieses Qualitätsproduktes haben
Sie eine gute Wahl getroffen. Die rapidcount S
ist als Stückzähler S 20 (Scheine sortiert zählen)
und S 60 (Scheine sortiert zählen, Formaterken-
nung, Infrarot-, Ultraviolett- und Magnetismus-
prüfung), sowie als Wert- und Stückzähler S 85

terkennung und Magnetcodeprüfung) erhältlich.
Für einen störungsfreien und fehlerlosen Betrieb
lesen Sie bitte die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfäl-
tig durch. Wir empfehlen, die Maschine einmal
im Jahr warten zu lassen. Das optimale jährliche
Zählvolumen ist auf 0,4 Millionen Banknoten be-
grenzt.

Bedienung
Falsch
Richtig
Fächern sie die Banknoten wie abgebildet leicht auf.
Legen sie einen vorsortierten Stapel Banknoten (z.B.
nur 20 Euro Banknoten) in den Einzug. Die Maschine star-
tet automatisch den Zählvorgang und zeigt die gezähl-
te Stückzahl an. Bei aktivierter Wertzählung der rapid-
count S 85 können Banknoten unsortiert (gemischt)
eingelegt werden. Die Maschine zeigt den Wert der
Banknoten an. Bei deaktivierter Wertzählung wird die
Stückzahl angezeigt. Die S 60 erkennt bei aktivier-
ter Echtheitsprüfung kleinere Banknoten (bis 100 Euro)
im Stapel. Als Referenz gilt immer die erste eingezoge-
ne Banknote. Wenn eine kleinere Banknote erkannt
wird stoppt die Maschine automatisch (Fehler „Ed“).
Die S 85 erkennt bei aktivierter Echtheitsprüfung und
deaktivierter Wertzählung kleinere und größere Bank-
noten im Stapel. Als Referenz gilt immer die erste ein-
gezogene Banknote. Wenn eine Banknote mit einem
anderen Format erkannt wird, stoppt die Maschine au-
tomatisch.

5. Die Empfindlichkeit DEN sollte bei Eurobanknoten auf 2
stehen (Werkseinstellung).
1. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an und schalten Sie die
Maschine ein. Die Maschine führt nun einen Selbsttest
durch.
Nach erfolgreichem Test erscheint im Display „0“.
Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, lesen Sie unter Fehler-
meldungen nach wie vorzugehen ist.
2. Um Fehlermeldungen und Beschädigungen an den Sen-
soren zu vermeiden, sind stark beschädigte oder ver-
schmutzte Banknoten auszusortieren.
3. Stellen Sie den Einzug in der Breite auf die zu zählende
Banknote ein.

Falschgelderkennung (nur rapidcount S 60/85)
Die Falschgelderkennung ist werksseitig bereits bei Ein-
schalten aktiviert. Die einzelnen Prüfmerkmale der S 60
können Sie mit den Tasten IR (Infrarot), UV (Ultraviolett)
und MG (Magnetismus) separat aktivieren bzw. deaktivie-
ren. Die Echtheitsprüfung der S 85 können Sie mit der CD Ta-
ste (Counterfeit Detection) aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren. Die
Prüfung ist aktiv, wenn die jeweilige Taste aufleuchtet. Wird
eine falsche oder verdächtige Banknote erkannt, stoppt die
Maschine und eine entsprechende Fehlermeldung wird an-
gezeigt (siehe Fehlermeldungen im Display).
Bündel-Funktion
Die Bündel- / Stapelfunktion aktivieren Sie mit der BAT Ta-
ste. Mit jedem Tastendruck verändern sich die voreingestell-
ten Werte wie folgt: 100/50/20/10/5. Wenn Sie eine andere
Stückzahl an Banknoten auszählen möchten, benutzen Sie
die Taste „+1“ um den voreingestellten Wert schrittweise zu
erhöhen. Wenn Sie die „+1“ Taste gedrückt halten, erhöht
sich der Wert im Schnelllauf bis maximal 999. Die Maschi-
ne stoppt, sobald die eingestellte Stückzahl erreicht ist. Bei
Entnahme der Banknoten startet die Maschine automatisch
einen neuen Zählvorgang, wenn sich noch Banknoten im
Einzug befinden.
Die Bündel- /Stapelfunktion wird mit CE deaktiviert.
Addier Funktion
Mit dieser Funktion ist es möglich Zählvorgänge zu addie-
ren. Ist diese Funktion aktiviert, wird der Zähler bei Entnah-
me der Banknoten nicht zurück auf „0“ gesetzt. Im Display
wird die Gesamtstückzahl aller gezählten Banknoten an-
gezeigt (S 20 und S 60: bis max. 999 Stück; S 85 bis max.
60.000 Stück, Wertanzeige max. 99.999). Um den Zähler
auf „0“ zu setzen, drücken sie CE.
Report Funktion
Mit dieser Funktion läßt sich das Zählergebnis detailliert an-
zeigen. Mit der „REP“ Taste lassen sich die Stückzahl sowie
der Wert der einzelnen Banknotensorten anzeigen. Rechts
im Display erscheint die Banknotensorte, die angezeigt
wird. Bei jedem Druck der „REP“-Taste erscheint die Stück-
zahl und anschließend der addierte Wert der jeweiligen
Banknotensorte.
Print Funktion (nur S 85)
Durch Betätigen der „P“ Taste wird der Zählbericht am ange-
schlossenen Drucker ausgedruckt.

Fehlermeldung beim Start der Maschine
Sobald Sie die Maschine anschalten, wird eine
Selbstdiagnose durchgeführt. Erscheint eine
der unten aufgeführten Fehlermeldungen, wird
ein Sensor durch Staub, Schmutz oder eine ein-
geklemmte Banknote beeinträchtigt. Schalten
Sie die Maschine aus und entfernen sie die Ver-

EJ Einige Banknoten sind verbunden, entnehmen, neu einlegen. Bei häufiger Störung Stellschraube für Banknoteneinzug im Uhrzeigersinn
verstellen (siehe „Sonstige Einstellungen/Hinweise“).
E5 / ES Banknote zu stark geneigt, RESET drücken und neu einlegen um weiter
zu zählen.
Ed Es wurde eine Banknote mit falscher Abmessung erkannt.
Falsche Banknote entnehmen und Stapel neu einlegen und neu zählen.
F-P Andere Banknotensorte als die Referenznote.

Sonstige Einstellungen / Hinweise
Sollten die Banknoten nicht richtig eingezogen
werden, können Sie den Fehler über die Ein-
stellung des Einzuges beheben. Legen Sie eine
Banknote ein und halten Sie sie bei eingeschal-
teter Maschine fest. Wenn Sie den Zug spüren,
ist die Maschine richtig eingestellt. Ist dies nicht
der Fall, verändern Sie die Neigung des Bank-
n0teneinzuges mittels der Stellschraube an der

Slightly fan out the bank notes as shown in the figure.
Lay a pre-sorted stack of bank notes (e.g. only 20 Euro
bank notes) in the bank-note feeder. The machine starts
the counting process automatically and shows the
counted piece number on the display. If the total-value
count mode is activated on rapidcount S 85 then bank
notes can be placed unsorted (mixed) on the banknote
feeder. The machine shows the total value of the notes.
If total-value count mode is deactivated, the piece
number will be displayed. The S 60 model detects smal-
ler bank notes if IR or MG detection is activated (up to
100 Euro) in a stack. The first bank note that is drawn in
is always used as reference. Whenever a smaller bank
note is detected, the machine stops automatically (Er-
ror “Ed”). The S 85 model detects smaller and larger
bank notes in a stack whenever authenticity detection
and total-value count are activated. The first bank note
that is drawn in is used as reference. If a bank note with
a different format is detected the machine stops auto-
matically (Error “F-P”).

5. The sensitivity DEN should always stand on 2 in the
case of Euro bank notes. (factory setting)
1. Connect the power cable and switch on the machine.
The machine now carries out a self-test sequence.
A “0” appears on the display. Should a different symbol
appear, please refer how to proceed under “Trouble-
shooting”.
2. To avoid error messages and damages to the sensors,
any severely damaged and dirty bank notes should be
sorted out now.
3. Set the bank-note feeder to the width of the bank notes
to be counted.

Counterfeit money detection (only rapidcount S 60 / 85)
The counterfeit money detection is already set for the Euro,
ex-factory. You can activate or deactivate individual detec-
tion features of S 60 separately with the buttons IR (in-
frared), UV (ultraviolet) and MG (magnetic). You can activate
or deactivate the authenticity detection features of the S 85
all together with the CD button (Counterfeit Detection).The
detection is active if the respective button illuminates. Upon
detection of a fake or suspect bank note, the machine stops
and a corresponding error message is displayed (see error
massages on the display).
Batch function
You activate the batch / stack function using the BAT but-
ton. Whenever you press the button, default values change
as follows: 100/50/20/10/5. If you wish to count a different
piece number of bank notes, use the button “+1” in order
to increase the default value step-by-step. If you hold the
“+1” button pressed, the value increases in quick mode up
to maximum 999. The machine stops as soon as the default
piece number is reached. After removing the bank notes,
the machine automatically starts a new counting process if
some bank notes still lie in the bank-note feeder.
The batching / stacking function is deactivated by pressing
the CE button.
Adding function
With this function, it is possible to add several counting
processes. If this function is activated then the counter is
not reset to “0” after removing the money. In the display
the overall piece number of all counted bank notes is displa-
yed (S 20 and S 60 up to max. 999 pieces; S 85 up to max.
60.000 pieces of total-value display max. 99.999). To reset
the counter again to “0,” press CE.
Report function
With this function, you can have the counting result displa-
yed in detail.Using the button “REP,” the piece number and
the total-value of individual bank note types can be displa-
yed. On the right side of the display, the type of bank note
to be displayed is seen. First, the piece number appears and
then the total value of the respective type of bank note.
Print function (only S 85)
By pressing the “P” button, the counting report is printed
out on the printer.

Error messages at the start of the machine
A soon as you switch on the machine, self-dia-
gnosis will be carried out. Whenever one of the
following error messages appears, it means that
a sensor is concealed by dust, by dirt or by a
jammed bank note. Switch off the machine and

remove the dirt with compressed air spray, soft
cloth/brush or remove the jammed bank note.
Afterwards, start the machine anew. Your machi-
ne should be serviced regularly by a specialist.

Error messages in operation

Eh Remove half or incomplete bank note and press RESET in order to con-
tinue counting.
EJ Some bank notes are bonded together. Remove them and put new ones in. In case of frequent disturbance, turn the adjusting screw for bank-note
feeder in clockwise direction. (See “miscellaneous settings /hints”).
E5 / ES Bank note inclined too steeply, press RESET, and lay in again in order to
continue counting.
Ed A bank note with wrong dimension was detected. Remove the bank note,
and lay the stack anew and count again.
F-P Another value as reference note
F-F.F-C, F-1, F-2, F-3, F-5, F-6, F-7 A fake or suspicious bank note, remove it and press RESET in order to
continue counting.
FUL Bank note tray is full.
Miscellaneous settings / hints
Should bank notes not be drawn in, you can eli-
minate the error by setting the draw-in mecha-
nism. Lay a bank note in and hold it whilst swit-
ching on the machine. When you feel the pulling
action, the machine is correctly set. If this is not
the case, change the inclination of the banknote
draw-in mechanism by means of the adjusting

temperatures, wait for 3 minutes before you
start the counting process (minimum conden-
sate water formation on the sensor is possible).

Branchez le câble électrique et mettez la machine en
fonctionnement. À ce moment, la machine effectue
automatiquement un test.
Le chiffre „0“ apparaît sur l’écran. Si un autre symbole
apparaît, consultez le paragraphe sur les messages
d’erreur pour connaître la marche à suivre.
Afin d’éviter toute Messages d’erreur et toute
détérioration des capteurs, il est conseillé de retirer les
billets très abîmés ou salis.
Réglez l’insertion en fonction de la largeur des billets
que vous souhaitez compter.
Répartissez les billets tel que cela est indiqué sur le
croquis. Présentez à l’insertion une pile de billets pré-
triés (par ex. seulement des billets de 20 Euro). La
machine commence automatiquement à compter et
indique le nombre de billets comptés. Lorsque le calcul
de la valeur de la RAPIDCOUNT S 85 est activé, il est
possible d’insérer des billets non triés (mélangés).
Lorsque le calcul de la valeur est désactivé, le nombre
de billets est indiqué. Lorsque la fonction IR ou MG est
activée, la S 60 reconnaît des petits billets (jusqu’à
100 Euro) dans la pile. Le premier billet introduit
sert toujours de référence. La machine s’arrête
automatiquement si elle détecte un plus petit billet
(erreur „Ed“). Lorsque le contrôle d’authenticité est
activé et que le calcul de la valeur est désactivé, la S 85
détecte dans la pile les billets plus petits et plus grands.
Le premier billet introduit sert toujours de référence. La
machine s’arrête automatiquement si elle détecte un
billet présentant un autre format (erreur „F-P“).
La sensibilité DEN doit toujours être réglée sur 2 pour
des billets en Euro. (réglage par défaut)

Détection de fausse monnaie
(uniquement pour RAPIDCOUNT S 60 / 85)
La détection de fausse monnaie est déjà réglée par défaut pour
les euros. Il est possible d ‘activer ou de désactiver séparément les
différentes caractéristiques de contrôle de la S 60 avec les touches
IR (infrarouge), UV (ultraviolet) et MG (magnétisme). Les contrôles
d’authenticité de la S 85 peuvent être activés ou désactivés
ensemble avec la touche CD (Counterfeit Detection). Le contrôle
est activé lorsque la touche correspondante est allumée. Si un faux
billet ou un billet suspect est détecté, la machine s’arrête et un
message d’erreur correspondant s’affiche (voir messages d’erreur
sur l’écran).
Fonction de mise en liasses
Activez la touche BAT Pour activer la fonction d’empilement /
de mise en liasses. A chaque fois que l’on appuie sur la touche,
les valeurs préprogrammées s’affichent de la manière suivante :
100/50/20/10/5. Si vous souhaitez décompter un autre nombre de
billets, utilisez la touche „+1“ pour augmenter par étapes la valeur
préprogrammées. Si vous maintenez la touche „+1“ enfoncée, la
valeur augmente en accéléré jusqu’à 999 maximum. La machine
s’arrête dès que le nombre programmé est atteint. Après le
prélèvement des billets, la machine recommence automatiquement
un nouveau comptage si d’autres billets se trouvent encore dans le
compartiment d’insertion.
La fonction d’empilement / de mise en liasses se désactive avec la
touche CE.
Fonction d’addition
Cette fonction vous permet d’additionner plusieurs comptages
différents. Lorsque cette fonction est activée, le compteur ne revient
pas en position „0“ après le prélèvement des billets. Le nombre total
de tous les billets comptés s’affiche sur l’écran (jusqu’à un maximum
de 999 billets pour la S 20 et la S 60 ; jusqu’à un maximum de 60.000
billets, indication de valeur max. 99.999 pour la S 85). Appuyez sur
CE pour remettre le compteur à « 0 ».
Fonction de rapport (S 85 uniquement)
Cette fonction vous permet d’afficher le résultat détaillé du comptage.
Appuyez sur la touche « REP » pour afficher, le nombre de billets
ainsi que la valeur des différentes sortes de billets. Le type du billet
s’affiche à droite sur l’écran. Le nombre de billets s’affiche toujours
en premier, puis la valeur cumulée des types de billets respectifs.
Fonction d’impression (S 85 uniquement)
Appuyez sur la touche „P“ pour imprimer le rapport de comptage sur
l’imprimante connectée.

Messages d’erreur lors de la mise en marche de la machine
Dès que vous mettez la machine en marche,
elle effectue automatiquement un diagnostic.
Si l’un des messages d’erreur suivants
apparaît, c’est que de la poussière, des
salissures ou un billet coincé empêche un
capteur de fonctionner. Éteignez la machine et

nettoyez-la à l’aide d’un spray à air comprimé,
d’un chiffon doux/ pinceau ou retirez le billet
coincé. Remettez ensuite la machine en marche.
