Digital Receptionist
1.To set up and personalize, press the Menu. Use the up and down
navigation keys to select the Answering System menu.
2. Select either the General Greeting or the Announce Only menu to record
a greeting for your mailbox.
3. Select the Record Greeting option and speak into the speakerphone.
Press the Save softkey when finished recording.
4. Once finished, you will hear your message played back. If you are not
satisfied, you may record the greeting again. This greeting will only be
heard by calls to your extension.
To check your messages,
press the Ans Sys button.

1. Press the Menu softkey while in idle mode.
2. Using the directional pad, move the
indicator to Digital Receptionist.

5. Using the up and down keys, move the indicator between the lines and
the left and right to toggle each line on or off. Press the Select softkey to
save.
Digital Receptionist Greetings
1. From the Digital Receptionist menu, use the up and down keys to select
Day Greeting, Night Greeting, or Auxiliary Greeting.
2. Move the indicator to Record Greeting and press the Select softkey.

Easy to Navigate Menus
Button Layout
1. Use the Menu soft key to access
the feature and setup menus.
2. Use the navigation key arrows to
change your selection on the menu.
3. Press the Select softkey to enter
menus or make selections.
4. Use the Back softkey to return to a previous menu and the Home
softkey to return to the idle screen.
Transfer & Intercom
Transfer
1. While on an active call, press the X-fer softkey.
2.A list of the extensions on your system will appear on the display.
Choose the destination extension for your call and press the Select
softkey.
3. If you would like to attend the transfer, wait until the extension answers,
then press the Conf softkey to add the active call. For a blind transfer,
you may hang up the call after pressing the Select softkey and the call
will be transferred.
Intercom
Each extension on your system will appear next to a corresponding
Programmable Feature Key. To call that extension using the intercom,
simply press the PFK next to their name.
Connecting Your System
Once you have unboxed and plugged in your U1100 phone it will be
ready to register to the U1000 base.
1. On your U1000 base, press the Menu softkey.
Using the directional pad, move the indicator to
Add/Remove Remote. Press the Select softkey.
2. Select the Registration option and press the
Select softkey. This will put the U1000 base in
Registration Mode as it searches for another phone to register.
3. On your U1100 wireless deskphone, press the Reg softkey. It will also
enter Registration Mode and search for the base.
4. If registration is successful, both phones will beep and display
Registration Complete! If registration is not successful, move the phones
closer together and try again.
