I. BEFORE OPERATING
Safety measures
While operating the appliance, follow the instructions given below. If
used properly, it will serve you for many years.
Before connecting the appliance
to electric outlet, check that the
mains voltage coincides with
supply voltage of the appliance.
The later can be found in
technical data or on the factory
nameplate of the appliance.
The appliance is intended
for domestic use only. The
appliance is not intended for
industrial use.
Never let children to use the
appliance until they have been
briefed and got the knowledge
about the instructions of safe
operation. The appliance itself
and the packing materials
are not allowed to be used as
children’s playthings.
It is prohibited to perform
independent repairs or make
modifications to the design of
the appliance. All the service
and repair works should be
performed by authorised
service-centre. Amateurish
works performed can result in
breaking, injuries and damage
to property.
Use batteries of appropriate type
only. Battery type can be found
in technical specifications or
in the nameplate available on
the appliance.
It is prohibited to immerse the
appliance in water or any liquids.
This may result in damages.
Operation of the scales shall be
prohibited in the following cases:
In premises with increased
humidity, for example in a bath-
room. There is a risk of failure
of the appliance.
Outdoors.
A risk exists, of malfunction
due to rain and other weather
conditions.
Mobile phone may create
interference, which may lead to
inaccurate results of weighing.
Keep turned-on mobile phone
at a distance of at least 2 metres
from the scales or turn the mobile
phone off.
ATTENTION!
It is prohibited to use an appliance
in case of any malfunctions.
The manufacturer has no
responsibility for any damage
caused by violation of safety rules
and operating instructions.
