you can considerably prolong the service life of your appliance.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from
8years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by chil-
dren without supervision.

I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully remove the multicooker and its accessories from the
packaging. Dispose of all packaging materials.
Keep all warning labels, including the serial number identication
label located on the housing.
After transportation or storage at low temperatures allow the appli-
ance to stay at room temperature for at least 2 hours before using.

Before the use ensure that the battery is installed correctly with
regard to polarity. Close the battery compartment cap.
NOTE! Batteries, included in set, are intended only for checking
the appliance operational capability. For extended operation of
the appliance it is recommended to purchase a new set.
Installing the battery ensure that your hands and the unit are dry.
II. OPERATION
The Ready for Sky technology
The Ready for Sky technology enables to use the software app of
the same name to control the appliance remotely from a smart-
phone or tablet.
1.
Download the software from the App Store or Google Play
(depending on your operating system) onto your smartphone
or tablet.
2.
Open the Ready for Sky app,create an account,and follow the
prompts that appear on the screen.
3. Enable the Bluetooth function on the mobile device.
4. Switch on the scales by pressing the button.
5. Open and update the list of appliances available for connec-
tion with the mobile device.
6.
Select the connected appliance from the list of available
devices.
To provide stable connection the mobile device should be lo -
cated within no more than 15 metres from the appliance.
Appliance use
1. Press the button. All indicators will be displayed, then 0
value and the measurement unit indicator will be displayed.
2. The default measurement unit is grammes (
g indicator). By
pressing the Unit button you can replace the measurement
unit with pounds and ounces ( Ib oz indicator). Adjusted pa-
rameters are saved upon the subsequent weighting.
3. Fix the container onto the scales platform in which you plan
to weigh a product. Press Tare button to reset the container
weight value.
It is also possible to ignore the container weight by placing it to the
scales platform befor switching on the appliance.The weight value
will be automatically reset to zero when scales are switched on.
4. Put the product into the container. Product mass will be dis-
played (excluding tare weight).
5. The scales will be automatically disabled in 5 minutes at the
end of operation. If necessary, they can also be disabled by
pressing and holding the button for several seconds.

Kitchen timer
REDMOND SkyScales RS-741S-E can also be used for tracking
cooking time.
1. Press the button. The timer indicator and the time value
of 00:00 in the minutes:seconds format are lit up solid on
display.

2. Set the rst symbol value by pressing the Unit button. Press
button to conrm the value. Repeat the process for other
symbols.
The maximum value of the timer setting — 199:59.
3. After setting the value until the last symbol and pressing the
button the program will start to count down in 1 second
increments. When
00:00 value is reached an audible signal
will be heard.
4.
To return to the weighing mode press the button.To return
to the timer mode press the button.
5.
To disable an audible signal at the end of timer operation
press the button.
Disabling audible signals
To disable audible signals during appliance operation press and
hold down the Unit button for several seconds.A double audible
signal will be heard,after that audible indication will be disabled.
To enable audible signals repress and hold the Unit button.
When disabling audible signals the notication about the end of
the countdown will be enabled.
III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
GUIDELINES
Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners,metal sponges,etc.
Clean the platform with a soft damp cloth and wipe dry.
DO NOT immerse the unit in water or wash under running water.
The scale is not dishwasher safe.
It is advised to remove the battery,if the scale is not being in use
for a long time.Store the assembled appliance in a dry,ventilated
place away from heating appliances and direct sunlight.
During transportation and storage, do not expose the device to
mechanical stress, that may lead to damage of the device and/or
violation of the package integrity.
Keep the device package away from water and other liquids.

REDMOND warrants the product to be free from defects in mate-
rials and workmanship under normal household use to consumers
for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty
applies to products purchased and operated in the U.S.A., its ter-
ritories, and Canada.
This warranty is not available to retailers or other commercial
purchasers or owners.
Please read and follow the instructions in the owner’s manual
before using this product to ensure proper operation and durabil-
ity of this product during the warranty period.
Defective product, covered under the warranty, will be repaired
or replaced with a comparable model or individual parts at RED-
MOND’s sole discretion upon receiving the defective unit. No

neglect,improper storage or transportation,exposure to ele-
ments which are not heat-proof to excessive heat or cold,
incidental or consequential damages, any accident or injury

line surge, modications or repairs by unauthorized service
personnel,improper power source,damage caused by foreign

If the purchase date cannot be established for any reason, the
date of the warranty will be effective from the manufacturing date
determined by the 13digit serial number located on the identi-

cation label on the housing of the device. The serial number
consists of 13 digits. 6th and 7th digits of the serial number
identify the month, 8th digit the year of manufacture.

rial. REDMOND does not assume responsibility for loss or
damage sustained to product during shipping to us for war-
ranty service. For your protection always package your prod-
uct carefully.

• Statement giving specic reason for return
Please note that should any customs duty/brokerage fees arise,
