Calibration Function
This device includes a calibration function to ensure accuracy.
1.Whenthedeviceispoweredoff,holdthe" OFF
CLEAR "buttonandpressthe
"READ "buttontopoweronthedevice.
2.Releasethe" READ "buttonuntil"CAL"andanumberappearsonthe
display to enter calibration mode.
3.Userscanusethe" +"buttonandthe" "buttontoadjusterror
value.Theadjustmentrangeis-9~9mm.
Forexample,actualdistanceis3.780m.Ifthisdevice's
measurement distance is 3.778m, this indicates 2mm less than the
actual's.Enterthecalibrationmodeandusethe" +"buttonto
add 2mm. If this device's measurement distance is 3.783mm, this is
3mm more than the actual's. Enter the calibration mode and use the
""buttontoreduce3mm.
4.Aftercalibration,pressthe" READ "buttontosavethecalibrationresult.

Single Measurement
Pressthe" READ "buttoninmeasurementmodetoemitlaserandlockthe

Continuous Measurement

The device will automatically calculate the volume and the result will be

The Pythagorean Measurement
There are 4 modes for measuring triangular distance with Pythagorean
Theorem. It creates convenience for users to carry out indirect
measurementincomplexenvironments.

Note: In the Pythagorean measurement mode, the length of the
right-angle side must be less than the hypotenuse, or the wrong signal
indicator will be shown on the display. To ensure measurement accuracy,
measurementmustbetakenfromthesamestartingpointfollowedbythe
hypotenuse, then the angle side.
Cumulative and Regressive Measurement Function
Single distance can be measured by cumulative or regressive operation of
plus/minuscalculation.Userscanusethe" +"buttontoentercumulative
and regressive function after getting the single distance measurement
result.Pressthe" +"buttonorthe" +"button,"+"appearsonthemain
display area and enter cumulative measurement mode. Display shows the
cumulative value of last measurement value and current
measurement value.
Holdthe" +"buttonorpressthe" +"button.Onthemaindisplay,"-"
will appear and enter regressive measurement mode. Display shows the
difference value of last measurement value and current measurement value.
The area and volume can be accumulated and subtracted, as well as the
distance.Thefollowingexamplesillustratethecumulativeandregressive
function area, to which cumulative and regressive of volume are similar.
Area accumulation: Measure the rst area to get a result as shown in
gure1.Pressthe" +"buttonorthe" +"buttontomeasurethe
second area and get a result as shown in gure 2, and a plus sign will be
shownintheleftbottomcorner.Lastly,pressthe" READ "buttontogetthe
sum value of these two areas. The result is shown in gure 3.

subtraction that subtracts two subtrahends from a minuend.
Step 1: Measure the rst area as shown in gure 4 according to area
measurementmode.Themeasuredareais0.311squaremeter.
Step2:Pressthe" +"buttonorthe" "buttontomeasurethesecond
areaasshowningure5.Themeasuredareais0.110squaremeter.
Step 3: Repeat step 2 to measure the third area as shown in gure 6. The
measuredareais0.118squaremeter.
Step4:Pressthe" READ "buttonandthedisplayisasshowningure7.The
rstmeasuredareais0.331,thesecondmeasuredareais0.228,andthesum
of0.110andthethirdmeasuredarea0.118iscalculatedas:
0.083=0.31-0.228.

Measurement Record Storage Function
Inmeasurementmode,ifcurrentdataisvalid,holdthe" "buttonfor
3 seconds. The current measurement data will be automatically stored in
the device. In area, volume, triangle measurement modes, storage can be
carried out when all measurements are completed. The device will save
the whole record of this measurement.

Battery Replacement
1. Openthebatterycoveronthebackofdeviceandinstallthe
batteriesaccordingtothepolarityindicationandlockupthe
battery cover.
2. For this device, 1.5 V AAA batteries are suitable.
3. If this device is not being used for a long period of time, please
remove the batteries to avoid corrosion.

Maintenance and Care
• Donotstorethedeviceinhightemperatureandhighhumidity
environments for a long period of time. If the device will not be used for
alongperiodoftime,pleasetakeoutbatteryandputthedeviceina
portablebagandplaceitinacool,dark,dryplace.
• Pleasekeepthedevicesurfaceclean.Useawet,softclothtocleanthe
surface and dry up in time. Do not clean the device with corrosive
liquid.Wipethelaserwindowandfocusinglensaccordingtothe
method of wiping optical devices.
