Use and Care Guide
1. Get Ready
Before setting, hair should be dry or only slightly damp,
never wet. Section hair and comb it smooth. Roll hair as
usual, in the direction of desired style, securing each roller
with the proper size color-coded clip placed crosswise over
the roller.
2. Get Set
Continue until your entire head is set. The time the rollers are
left in the hair affects the tightness of the curl. The shorter
the time, the softer the curl. Rollers will remain curling active
approximately 15 minutes. If you wish to reuse rollers, return
them to the unit and wait 90 seconds.
3. Go!
To release secured roller, remove each clip and roller gently.
Unwind, never pull. Let each new curl spring back into posi-
tion and cool for a moment. Then brush out hair and style.
Spritz hair for extra hold.
Will the rollers be too hot to touch when they’re completely
heated?
No. However, the end caps of the rollers are made of a different material. They
will remain cool when the roller is heated. They are designed to be held while
rolling your hair for comfort and ease of use.
How do I know when the rollers are at the “right” temperature
for curling hair?
Follow the illustration and instructions in the “HOW TO USE” section.
How long should I leave the rollers in my hair?
Again, depending on the length and texture of your hair, as well as the lightness
of the curl you want, timing will vary. Feel free to experiment and have fun with
your new Remington® setter.
• Close pouch and plug in unit. Rollers can be used in 90 seconds.
• For a soft, wavy curl, use the rollers after the 90-second heat-up. For a tighter
curl, use the rollers when they have reached maximum curling temperature.
Operating Instructions
1. These heated rollers are designed to work on ordinary household current only.
They are not intended for commercial use.
2. Plug cord into outlet, leaving pouch closed. When unit is heated, follow “How To
Use” section. Unplug unit after use.
3. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a
safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician to install a polarized outlet. Never try to defeat this safety feature.
Maintenance Instructions
1. Clean unit with damp cloth only. No other maintenance is required.
2. Rollers may be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent or soap.
3. Store appliance and cord where they will not be damaged.
4. Do not wrap cord around hairsetter.
5. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself; return it to Remington Customer
Service.
