IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, especially when
children are present, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING.
KEEP AWAY FROM WATER.
DANGER
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
1. Always unplug this appliance immediately
after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where
it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other
liquid.
5. f an appliance falls into water, “unplug it”
immediately. Do not reach into the water.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, electro-
cution, fire, or injury to persons:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended
when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this
appliance is used by, on, or near children or
invalids.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use
as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments not recommended by
Remington®.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has a
damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, or if it has been dropped, damaged
or dropped into water. Return the appliance
to the Remington Customer Service Center
for examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not wrap cord around the appliance.
6. Do not use an extension cord with this
appliance.
7. Never block the air openings of the appliance
or place it on a soft surface, such as a
bed or couch, where the air openings may
be blocked. Keep the air openings free of
lint, hair, etc.
8. Never use while sleeping.
9. Never drop or insert any object into any
opening.
10.Do not use outdoors or operate where
aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being administered.
11. Do not touch the posts that hold the rollers.
They are hot.
12.Household use only.
13. Keep lid open when heating rollers.
Operating & Maintenance
Operating Instructions
1. This appliance is designed to work on
ordinary household current only (120 volts,
60 cycles AC). It is not intended for
commercial use.
2. Place the unit on a hard, flat, heat-resistant
surface.
3. Remove lid and plug cord into outlet.
When unit is heated, follow instructions
shown for use. When finished applying
rollers in hair, unplug unit and allow to cool.
4. This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fully fit
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician to
install a polarized outlet.
Never try to defeat this safety feature.
Maintenance Instructions
1. Clean unit with damp cloth only. Clean
rollers with damp cloth and mild soap.
No other maintenance is required.
2. Store appliance and cord where they
will not be damaged. Do not wrap cord
around hairsetter.
3. Do not attempt to repair the appliance
yourself. Return to Remington Customer
Service.

ROLLERS FEATURES:
• Product includes 21 ribbed
translucent rollers - 1/2" diameter
• Rollers have the Remington exclusive
high energy wax core that heats up
fast to perfect curling temperature
and retains heat for curls that last.
• Tight Curls®is thermostatically
controlled, rollers cannot overheat;
they will feel warm to the touch.
• Open lid when in use.
• Use on dry or slightly damp hair.
• Ready dot on roller top turns color,
from red to black, when rollers are
ready to use.
• Custom clips are easy to use and hold
rollers in place.
Tight Curls®Heated Rollers
Before setting, hair should be dry or only slightly
damp, never wet. Remove lid and plug cord into
outlet. When the red dot on roller top turns black,
they are ready to use. Rollers takes about 12
minutes to heat.
Section hair and comb it
smooth. Roll hair as usual,
in the direction of desired
style. Secure each roller
with a “C” clip. For Spiral
Curls: Roll hair vertically
on roller. Use smaller
sections of hair for
tighter curls.
Once the entire head is set,
wait until the rollers are cool
and then remove. The time
the roller is left in the hair
regulates the curl size; the
longer the time, the tighter
the curl. Unplug the unit.
Rollers will remain curling
active for 15 minutes.
To release secured roller,
remove each clip and roller
gently. Unwind, never pull. Let
each new curl spring back into
position and cool for a moment.
Then brush out hair and style.
Important: Use hair spray
or spritz for extra hold.

Remington Products Company warrants this product
against any defects that are due to faulty material or
workmanship for a two-year period from the original
date of consumer purchase. This warranty does not
include damage to the product resulting from accident
or misuse.
If the product should become defective within the
warranty period, we will repair it or elect to replace it
free of charge. We will return your product, transporta-
tion charges prepaid, provided it is delivered prepaid

Bridgeport, CT 06604, Attention: Service Department.
Include a letter indicating the reason for the return.

Operating Instructions
1. This appliance is designed to work on
ordinary household current only (120 volts,
60 cycles AC). It is not intended for
commercial use.
2. Place the unit on a hard, flat, heat-resistant
surface.
3. Remove lid and plug cord into outlet.
When unit is heated, follow instructions
shown for use. When finished applying
rollers in hair, unplug unit and allow to cool.
