Das Produkt dient zur Messung von Temperaturen in Grad Celsius (°C) sowie der An-
zeige der relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit (%R.H.) und ist für Messungen im Innenbereich
ausgelegt.
Die Sicherheitshinweise sind unbedingt zu befolgen.
Dieses Produkt erfüllt die gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen.

Montage/Aufstellung
Wählen Sie als Montage- bzw. Aufstellort eine Stelle, die nicht direktem
Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt ist (Messwertverfälschung der Temperatur-/Luft-
feuchtemessung). Halten Sie auch ausreichend Abstand zu Heizkörpern ein.
Das Produkt kann mit dem beiliegenden Standfuß als Tischgerät verwendet oder an
der Wand aufgehängt werden.
Standfußmontage
Stecken Sie den Standfuß mit der Gabelung in den mit einem Pfeil gekennzeichneten
Lüftungsschlitz an der Rückseite des Thermo-/Hygrometers.
Wandmontage
Schrauben Sie eine passende Schraube in die Wand und lassen Sie den Schrauben-
kopf einige Millimeter aus der Wand hervorstehen.
Hängen Sie das Thermo-/Hygrometer mit der Aufhängeöse an der Gehäuserückseite
dann an diesem Schraubenkopf auf.
Messarten
Das Thermometer misst die Temperatur in Grad Celsius.
Das Hygrometer misst den prozentualen Anteil an Feuchtigkeit in der Luft (%R.H.).
Dieser Wert ist „relativ“, da die Luft in Abhängigkeit von der Temperatur verschieden
große Mengen Feuchtigkeit aufnehmen kann.
Wohnklima
Zu warme und zu trockene Raumluft schadet der Gesundheit, insbesondere der Haut
und den Atemwegen. Auch für Pflanzen, Holzböden, Antikmöbel, Musikinstrumente
und Bücher spielt die richtige Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit eine Rolle.
Durch die Kontrolle des Raumklimas fühlen Sie sich wohler und sparen außerdem
Heizkosten.
Die richtige Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit ist je nach Nutzung von Raum zu Raum
unterschiedlich.
Folgende Richtwerte werden empfohlen:
Treppenhaus 15 °C bei 40 - 60% Luftfeuchtigkeit
Schlafzimmer 16 - 18 °C bei 50 - 70% Luftfeuchtigkeit
Küche 18 °C bei 50 - 70% Luftfeuchtigkeit
Wohnzimmer 20 °C bei 40 - 60% Luftfeuchtigkeit
Bad 23 °C bei 50 - 70% Luftfeuchtigkeit
Handhabung
• Lassen Sie das Produkt zuerst auf Zimmertemperatur kommen. Dies kann u.U. meh-
rere Stunden dauern.
• Das Gehäuse darf nicht geöffnet werden!
• Vermeiden Sie folgende widrige Umgebungsbedingungen am Aufstellungsort oder
beim Transport:
- Staub oder brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder Lösungsmittel
- starke Vibrationen
- starke Magnetfelder, wie in der Nähe von Maschinen oder Lautsprechern
Wartung und Reinigung
Zur Reinigung von Anzeige und Gehäuse darf nur ein weiches, leicht feuchtes Tuch
verwendet werden. Benutzen Sie niemals lösemittelhaltige oder scheuernde Reini-
gungsmittel. Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser.

Installing the stand
Insert the stand with the fork in the ventilation slit marked with an arrow on the back
of the thermo-/hygrometer.
Wall mounting
Screw a suitable screw into the wall and leave the screw head standing out from the
wall a few millimetres.
Then hang the thermo-/hygrometer on this screw head using the hanging eye on the
back of the housing.
Measurement types
The thermometer measures the temperature in degrees Celsius.
The hygrometer measures the percentage of moisture in the air (%R.H.). This value
is “relative” because depending on the temperature the air can hold various large
amounts of moisture.
Living environment
If the air in the room is too warm and too dry, it is bad for your health, especially for
your skin and your respiratory system. The right temperature and humidity play a role
in plants, wood floors, antique furniture, musical instruments and books.
By controlling the indoor environment, you feel more comfortable and also save on
heating costs.
The right temperature and humidity vary with use from room to room.
The following guidelines are recommended:
Staircase 15 °C at 40 - 60% humidity
Bedroom 16 - 18 °C at 50 - 70% humidity
Kitchen 18 °C at 50 - 70% humidity
Living room 20 °C at 40 - 60% humidity
Bathroom 23 °C at 50 - 70% humidity
Handling
• First, allow the product to reach room temperature. This may take several hours.
• The housing may not be opened!
• Avoid the following unfavourable environmental conditions at the installation loca-
tion or during transportation:
- Dust or flammable gasses, fumes or solvents
- strong vibrations
- Strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loud-
speakers
Maintenance and cleaning
Only a soft damp cloth may be used for cleaning the display and housing. Never use
solvent-based or abrasive cleaning agents. Never submerge the device into water.

Installation/Setup

Montage sur le socle
Insérez le socle en prenant soin de faire correspondre la fourche avec la fente d’aéra-
tion marquée par une flèche, à l’arrière du thermomètre/hydromètre.
Montage mural
Fixez une vis appropriée au mur et laissez la tête de la vis dépasser de quelques milli-
mètres par rapport au mur.
Suspendez ensuite le thermomètre/hygromètre à l’aide de l’œillet de suspension sur
cette tête de vis.
Types de mesures
Le thermomètre mesure la température en degrés Celsius.
L’hygromètre mesure le pourcentage d’humidité dans l’air (% de H.R.). Cette valeur est
« relative », car l’air peut contenir, en fonction de la température, différentes masses
d’humidité.
Air ambiant
Un air ambiant trop chaud et trop sec est nocif pour la santé, en particulier pour la
peau et les voies respiratoires. Pour les plantes, les planchers en bois, les meubles
anciens, les instruments de musique et les livres également, la bonne température et
l’humidité de l’air jouent un rôle important.
Le contrôle de la climatisation d’intérieur permet de vous sentir mieux et d’économiser
également en coûts de chauffage.
La température et l’humidité de l’air idéales varient d’une pièce à l’autre en fonction
de l’utilisation de la pièce.
Les valeurs de référence suivantes sont recommandées :
Cage d’escalier 15 °C avec un taux d’humidité de 40 - 60%
Chambre à coucher 16 - 18 °C avec un taux d’humidité de 50 - 70%
Cuisine 18 °C avec un taux d’humidité de 50 - 70%
Salon 20 °C avec un taux d’humidité de 40 - 60%
Salle de bain 23 °C avec un taux d’humidité de 50 - 70%
Maniement
• Attendez que l’appareil ait atteint la température ambiante avant de le brancher.
Cela peut prendre plusieurs heures selon les cas.
• Il est interdit d’ouvrir le boîtier !
• Il convient d’éviter les conditions défavorables suivantes sur le lieu d’installation ou
lors du transport :
- poussières ou gaz, vapeurs ou solvants inflammables
- fortes vibrations
- champs magnétiques intenses comme à proximité de machines ou de haut-
parleurs
Maintenance et nettoyage
Pour le nettoyage de l’afficheur et du boîtier, utiliser uniquement un chiffon doux, légè-
rement humide. Ne jamais utiliser des produits nettoyants abrasifs ou contenant des
solvants. Ne jamais plonger l´appareil dans l’eau.

Voetmontage
Steek de voet met de vertakking in de met een pijl gemarkeerde ventilatorsleuf aan de
achterzijde van de thermo-/hygrometer.
Wandmontage
Schroef een geschikte schroef in de wand en laat de schroefkop enkele millimeters
uit de wand steken.
Hang dan de thermo-/hygrometer met het ophangoog, aan de achterkant van de be-
huizing, aan deze schroefkop.
Meetsoorten
De thermometer meet de temperatuur in graden Celsius.
De hygrometer meet het procentuele aandeel van vochtigheid in de lucht (% RV). Deze
waarde is „relatief“, omdat de lucht afhankelijk van de temperatuur verschillende
hoeveelheden vocht kan opnemen.
Woonklimaat
Te warme en te droge lucht in een ruimte benadeelt de gezondheid, vooral de huid en
de luchtwegen. Ook voor planten, houten vloeren, antieke meubels, muziekinstrumen-
ten en boeken speelt de juiste temperatuur en luchtvochtigheid een rol.
Door de beheersing van het klimaat in de ruimte voelt u zich beter en bespaart u ver-
warmingskosten.
De juiste temperatuur en luchtvochtigheid zijn al naargelang gebruik van ruimte tot
ruimte verschillend.
De volgende richtwaarden worden aanbevolen:
trappenhuis 15 °C bij 40 - 60% luchtvochtigheid
slaapkamer 16 - 18 °C bij 50 - 70% luchtvochtigheid
keuken 18 °C bij 50 - 70% luchtvochtigheid
woonkamer 20 °C bij 40 - 60% luchtvochtigheid
badkamer 23 °C bij 50 - 70% luchtvochtigheid
Gebruik
• Laat het product eerst op kamertemperatuur komen. Dit kan enkele uren duren.
• De behuizing mag niet geopend worden!
• Vermijd de inwerking van de volgende ongunstige omgevingsfactoren op de plek
van opstelling of tijdens het vervoer:
- stof en brandbare gassen, dampen of oplosmiddelen
- sterke trillingen
- sterke magnetische velden, zoals in de omgeving van machines of luidsprekers
Onderhoud en schoonmaak
Voor het schoonmaken van de display en de behuizing mag alleen een zachte, licht be-
vochtigde doek gebruikt worden. Gebruik nooit oplosmiddelen of schurende schoon-
maakmiddelen. Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water.
