Please read this information in conjunction with the Swift FX or the
Swift FX Bella Gray User Guide.
Intended use
The Swift FX Bella Gray channels airflow noninvasively to a patient
from a positive airway pressure (PAP) device such as a continuous
positive airway pressure (CPAP) or bilevel system.
The Swift FX Bella Gray is:
• to be used by adult patients (> 66 lb/30 kg) for whom positive
airway pressure has been prescribed
• intended for single-patient re-use in the home environment and
multipatient re-use in the hospital/institutional environment.
Attaching the headgear
First remove the current headgear from the pillows, then:
1. Hold the Swift FX Bella Gray buckle with the arrow facing
you. Latch the buckle onto the node on the pillows.
2. Repeat step 1 with the other buckle.
Fitting
1. Hold the pillows at your nose ensuring that the ResMed logo
is on the top of the pillows facing up. Pull one strap around
and behind your ear.
2. Ensure the strap lies flat and is not twisted.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 with the other strap.
4. Adjust the mask fit by pulling the upper straps along the
notches until a comfortable fit is achieved. Repeat with the
lower straps. Do not overtighten.
5. Check that the nasal pillows are positioned upright in the
entrance of your nostrils.

WARNING
Using Swift FX Bella Gray may cause ear soreness. If symptoms
occur, consult your physician.
Removing your mask
To remove your mask, place your fingers underneath the straps and lift
them away from your ears.
Removing the headgear
1–2. Remove each buckle by slightly twisting the buckle and
pulling away from the node on the pillows.
Note: The strap and soft sleeve are not intended to be dissassembled
and can be washed together, while attached to the buckle.
Headgear reassembly steps (if required)
If you have disassembled your headgear it needs to be reassembled
before attaching to the pillows.
1. Thread each strap through the soft sleeve. Pull the soft sleeve
up until it sits flush against the widest part of the strap.
Ensure the soft sleeve lies flat on the strap.
2. Hold the buckle with the arrow facing up.
A. Ensuring the notches of the strap are facing the arrow
head, thread the end of the strap down through the
opening closest to the arrow head on the buckle.
B. Bring the end of the strap up through the other opening,
making sure that the notches on the strap sit against
each other.
Repeat these steps with each strap.
3. Ensure that the straps are not twisted.

Troubleshooting
Problem/ possible cause Solution
Ears are sore
Swift FX Bella Gray headgear is not
fitted correctly. Readjust the straps to ensure they are not overtightened or twisted.
If problem persists talk to your
clinician.
Swift FX Bella Gray headgear is not
suited for your ear type. Replace the Swift FX Bella Gray headgear with the supplied Swift
FX headgear.

usage multiple par plusieurs patients en milieu médical.
Fixation du harnais
Séparez d’abord le harnais des coussins, puis:
1. Tenez la boucle supérieure du Swift FX Bella Gray avec la
flèche pointée vers vous. Attachez la boucle au nœud des
coussins.
2. Répétez l’étape 1 pour l’autre boucle.

Mise en place
1. Tenez les coussins sous votre nez en veillant à tourner le logo
ResMed vers le haut. Posez la sangle autour de l'oreille.
2. La sangle doit être posée à plat sans être entortillée.
3. Posez l'autre sangle en répétant les étapes 1 et 2.
4. Ajustez le masque en tirant sur les sangles supérieures et
en les fixant sur une encoche où le masque est confortable
à porter. Effectuez un ajustement similaire des sangles
inférieures. Ne serrez pas trop fort.
5. Vérifiez que les coussins narinaires sont positionnés
verticalement par rapport à l'entrée de vos narines.
AVERTISSEMENT
L’utilisation du Swift FX Bella Gray est susceptible de provoquer
des douleurs auriculaires. Si de tels symptômes apparaissent,
veuillez en parler à votre médecin.
Retrait de votre masque
Pour retirer votre masque, posez vos doigts sous les sangles et
soulevez ces dernières en les écartant des oreilles.
Retrait du harnais
1–2. Détachez chaque boucle en les tordant légèrement et en les
sortant du nœud sur les coussins.
Remarque: la sangle et la gaine souple n’ont pas besoin d’être
séparées et peuvent être lavées ensemble tout en étant attachées à la
boucle.

Étapes du remontage du harnais (le cas échéant)
Si votre harnais a été démonté, vous devez le remonter avant d’y
attacher les coussins.
1. Faites passer chaque sangle à travers la gaine souple. Tirez
sur la gaine souple jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit parfaitement
alignée avec la partie la plus large de la sangle. Vérifiez que la
gaine souple repose bien à plat sur la sangle.
2. Tenez la boucle en tournant la flèche vers le haut.
A. En positionnant les encoches tournées vers la pointe
de la flèche, faites passer les extrémités de la sangle à
travers la fente de la boucle la plus proche de la pointe de
la flèche.
B. Faites ensuite remonter l'extrémité à travers la deuxième
fente pour bien sécuriser la mise en place.
Effectuez la même procédure avec chaque sangle.
3. Veillez à ne pas entortiller les sangles.
Dépannage
Problème/ cause possible Solution
Les oreilles sont douloureuses
Le harnais Swift FX Bella Gray
n'est pas posé correctement. Réajustez les sangles et veillez à, ni trop les serrer, ni les entortiller.
Si le problème persiste, parlez-en à
votre clinicien.

ne correspond pas à votre type

Uso indicado
El Swift FX Bella Gray canaliza el flujo de aire de forma no invasiva
al paciente, a partir de un equipo de presión positiva en las vías
respiratorias (PAP), como por ejemplo un sistema de presión positiva y
continua en las vías respiratorias (CPAP) o un sistema binivel.
El Swift FX Bella Gray:
• debe utilizarse en pacientes adultos (> 30 kg/66 lb) a los que se les
ha indicado presión positiva en las vías respiratorias
• está diseñado para que un único paciente pueda usarlo en
repetidas ocasiones en su domicilio o para reutilizarse en varios
pacientes en hospitales o instituciones.
Conexión del arnés
Primero retire el arnés actual de las almohadillas. Luego:
1. Sostenga la hebilla del Swift FX Bella Gray con la flecha
mirando hacia usted. Enganche la hebilla en la saliente
situada en las almohadillas.
2. Repita el paso 1 con la otra hebilla.
Colocación
1. Sostenga las almohadillas a la altura de la nariz, asegurándose
de que el logotipo de ResMed esté en la parte superior de las
almohadillas, mirando hacia arriba. Pase una de las correas
alrededor y por detrás de la oreja.

Cómo retirar la mascarilla
Para quitarse la mascarilla, coloque los dedos debajo de las correas y
apártelas de las orejas.
Extracción del arnés
1–2. Extraiga cada una de las hebillas torciéndolas levemente y
sacándolas de la saliente situada en las almohadillas.
Nota: La correa y la funda blanda no se desmontan y se las puede
lavar juntas, conectadas a la hebilla.
Pasos para montar el arnés (de ser necesario)
Si ha desmontado el arnés, deberá volver a montarlo antes de
conectarlo a las almohadillas.
1. Haga pasar cada una de las correas por dentro de la funda
blanda. Empuje la funda blanda hacia arriba, hasta que quede
apoyada contra la parte más ancha de la correa. Compruebe
que la funda blanda quede plana sobre la correa.
2. Sostenga la hebilla con la flecha mirando hacia arriba.
A. Asegúrese de que las muescas de la correa estén
mirando hacia la punta de la flecha, y haga pasar el
extremo de la correa hacia abajo, a través de la abertura
más cercana a la punta de la flecha en la hebilla.
B. Haga pasar el extremo de la correa hacia arriba, a través
de la otra abertura, asegurándose de que las muescas de
la correa queden apoyadas una contra la otra.
Repita estos pasos con cada una de las correas.
3. Asegúrese de que las correas no queden torcidas.

Solución de problemas

A Swift FX Bella Gray canaliza o fluxo de ar de forma não invasiva para
o paciente a partir de um dispositivo PAP (pressão positiva das vias

A Swift FX Bella Gray:

1. Segure a fivela da Swift FX Bella Gray com a seta voltada
para você. Prenda a fivela no ressalto das almofadas.
2. Repita a etapa 1 com a outra fivela.

Colocação
1. Segure as almofadas sobre o nariz, certificando-se de que o
logotipo da ResMed está sobre as almofadas, voltado para
cima. Puxe uma correia em torno e por atrás da orelha.
2. Certifique-se de que a correia está estendida, e não torcida.
3. Repita as etapas 1 e 2 com a outra correia.
4. Ajuste a máscara puxando as correias superiores através
das fendas até atingir uma fixação confortável. Repita o
procedimento com as correias inferiores. Não aperte demais.
5. Verifique se as almofadas nasais estão posicionadas na
vertical à entrada das narinas.
AVISO
O uso da Swift FX Bella Gray pode deixar a orelha dolorida ou
ferida. Se perceber algum sintoma, consulte seu médico.
Remoção da máscara
Para remover a máscara, coloque os dedos sob as correias e afaste-as
das orelhas.
Remoção do arnês
1–2. Remova cada fivela torcendo ligeiramente a fivela e
afastando-a do ressalto nas almofadas.
Nota: a correia e a luva maleável não foram projetadas para serem
desmontadas e podem ser lavadas juntas, ainda presas à fivela.
