THE RICOH AUTOMATIC MAINTENANCE UTILITIES TO KEEP THE PRINT HEAD NOZZLES CLEAR.

Note: If you experience any communication errors, a powered USB hub may be required.
During downtime, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to leave the printer powered ON to allow the Ricoh Automatic
Maintenance Utilities to keep the print head nozzles clear. The Ricoh GELJET has been engineered to perform
automatic maintenance at various times in an effort to keep the print head nozzles in top condition. If this mainte-
nance cannot be automatically performed, it is possible that the nozzles may suffer permanent effects. As a result,
head cleanings may be unable to restore the print head to optimal operation.

Macintosh OS Verication
1.) To check the version of your Mac OS, rst click the Apple icon in the top left corner of your desktop.
Then scroll down and click About This Mac. The following screen containing the version number should
appear (see FIGURE 1). The below example is running Version 10.6.4. Please note your version number
and remember to only download those utilities which correspond with your version of Mac OS.

Before you begin, you will need to verify your version of Mac OS. This is important when deciding
which driver to download.You should only download drivers which are compatible with your version
of Mac OS.

The following instructions will demonstrate how to install the Ricoh (OEM) printer driver on computers
running Macintosh OS.

1.) Before installing the ChromaBlast-R SG 3110DN MacProle, you will need to install the Ricoh (OEM)
printer driver. First, access the Ricoh website by entering www.ricoh.co.uk in the address eld of your
web browser. Once there, click the Downloads tab (see FIGURE 1).

2.) Select Office Products Downloads (see FIGURE 2).

3.) Select Acio SG 3110DN from the Printers drop down box and click GO (see FIGURE 3).

4.) Select the link to Download le from external website (see FIGURE 4).

6.) Locate the RPCS Raster Driver for your Operating System and click the Download Icon
(see FIGURE 6).

5.) Locate and click the link for your Operating System (see FIGURE 5).

8.) Click Continue to allow the program to determine if the software can be installed (see FIGURE 9).

7.) Once the driver download has completed, click the download icon in the bottom right corner of your
desktop (see FIGURE 7 > 1). Next, double-click the r53405L4.dmg le (see FIGURE 7 > 2). The
Ricoh_AcioSG3110DN window should now appear (see FIGURE 8). Finally, double-click the Ricoh_
AcioSG3110DN icon to begin the Ricoh (OEM) printer driver installation process (see FIGURE 8 > 3).

10.) In the License window, read the terms of the Software License Agreement and click Continue when
nished (see FIGURE 11).

9.) In the Introduction window, click Continue (see FIGURE 10).

12.) In the Destination window, select the hard drive on which the printer driver will be installed and click
Continue (see FIGURE 13).

Congratulations! The Ricoh (OEM) printer driver has successfully been installed. Please proceed to the
ChromaBlast-R Ricoh SG 3110DN MacProle Installation section.
14.) Once installation has completed successfully, click Close to nish installing the software (see
FIGURE 15).

13.) Ensure you have a sufficient amount of disk space free to install the printer driver and click Install
(see FIGURE 14).

The following instructions will demonstrate how to download, install, and register the ChromaBlast-R
SG 3110DN MacProle on computers running Macintosh OS.
1.) Download the MacProle by accessing the Sawgrass Europe website by entering
www.sawgrasseurope.com in the address eld of your web browser.

2.) Navigate to: Technical Support > ChromaBlast-R Technical Support > ICC Proles and click on the
Ricoh SG 3110DN ICC Prole download link and save the le to your desktop: (see FIGURE 2).

3.) Once the download has completed, click the download icon in the bottom right corner of your desktop
(see FIGURE 3 > 1). Next, double-click the ChromaBlast-R SG3110DN.dmg le (see FIGURE 3
> 2). The Sawgrass Installer window should now appear (see FIGURE 4). Finally, double-click the
ChromaBlast-R SG3110DN.pkg le to begin the installation process (see FIGURE 4 > 3).

4.) Click Continue to allow the program to determine if the software can be installed and to begin the
installation process (see FIGURE 5).

6.) The following instructions will show how to register Online. Note the Product ID as this will be required
during the registration process and click Get Registration Code (see FIGURE 6).
5.) You will use the Product ID to register your product. The Product ID is located in the MacProle
Registration window (see FIGURE 6). The easiest and fastest way to obtain a Registration Code 24/7
is by clicking the Get Registration Code button also located in the MacProle Registration window.
Follow the on-screen instructions to receive a Registration Code via an automatic E-mail.
Note: You must have a separate Registration Code for every machine on which the MacProfile is
installed.

7.) On the Product Registration web page, ll in the required information and click Submit when complete
(see FIGURE 7). Your Registration Code will now be sent to the e-mail address used during registration.
8.) Once you have received the Registration Code, enter it into the Registration Code eld and click Apply
Registration Code (see FIGURE 8).

9.) You should receive the following screen informing you that registration completed successfully (see
FIGURE 9). Click OK to continue.
10.) In the Introduction window, click Continue (see FIGURE 10).

11.) In the Important Information window, click Continue (see FIGURE 11).

14.) In the Destination window, select the hard drive on which the MacProle will be installed and click
Continue (see FIGURE 14).

15.) In the Destination window, click Install to place the ChromaBlast-R MacProle in the specied folder
(see FIGURE 15). To install the ChromaBlast-R MacProle in a different folder, click Change Install
Location and browse to the desired folder.

Congratulations! The ChromaBlast-R Ricoh SG3110DN MacProle has successfully been installed. Please

16.) You should receive the following screen informing you that installation has completed successfully. Click
Close to nalize installation of the ChromaBlast-R SG3110DN MacProle (see FIGURE 16).
