Right Weigh 201-EBT-01B, 201-EBT-02B, and 201-EBT-04B load scales are TCA (Transportaon Cerficaon Australia) Type-Approved
Mass Sensor Units (MSUs), part of a Category A and Category B Type-Approved On-Board Mass (OBM) system. This organizaon approves
automove technology that follows a set of guidelines to ensure consumer safety and device reliability. For more informaon visit their

Please follow the instrucons in the Installaon & Operaon Manual to correctly install and calibrate the MSU. To comply with TCA
requirements, the following pages must be used to record the installaon and all calibraon and maintenance events. This document must
be kept with the vehicle at all mes.
INSTALLATION

Please follow the installaon and set-up steps in the Installaon & Operaon Manual to correctly install the MSU and record the
compleon on this form.

Note: This informaon can be found on the product label on the outside of the packaging box. If packaging has already been discarded, follow the steps below to idenfy each value.
1. With the MSU off, press and hold the MENU buon, press the ON/OFF buon, and then release both. The display will show the MSU Firmware # (ex. 42.010).
2. Press the MENU buon 2 mes, the display will show the last 4 characters of the MSU ID (ex. 42:28). This will help idenfy the MSU in the Right Weigh Bluetooth
App where the full MSU ID is displayed.
3. Using the Right Weigh App, first delete the MSU if it has already been connected to. Press “+Add Gauge” to prompt the app to scan for the MSU. Once the app finds
the MSU, it will display the scale name and directly below it will be the MSU ID (ex. 84:71:27:AC:42:28). The last 4 characters of the MSU ID should match the ones
displayed in Step 2.

CALIBRATION LOG
Please follow the calibraon steps in the Installaon & Operaon Manual to correctly calibrate the MSU. The MSU MUST be checked for accuracy every 6
months and re-calibrated. Log calibraon data (before and aer) in the table below.

FOR 201-EBT-01B, 201-EBT-02B, & 201-EBT-04B
To be sure the MSU is funconing properly, a maintenance check is required every 6 months. Follow the below steps to check
MSU funconality. Check the corresponding box in the Maintenance Log (on the following page) aer each test is performed
with a passing result.
With the MSU off, hold down the MENU buon, press the ON/OFF buon, and
release both simultaneously. This will enable “Diagnoscs Mode”.
PRESS HOLD
DISPLAY (screen #2)
Check that all characters are on, see the example image on the le. Check the
box in the Maintenance Log if all characters are present.
BAROMETRIC SENSOR (screen #5)
This screen displays the barometric pressure
(in psi) measured by the
barometric
sensor and should be between 13 and 16 psi. If the value falls within this range,
check the correspondng box in the Maintenance Log.
KEYPAD TEST (screen #7)
This screen will show “PAD 0” and pressing each of the buons should show a
separate number listed below:
= PAD 1
= PAD 2
= PAD 3
= PAD 4
= PAD 5
If the MSU doesn’t pass any of these checks, please call Right Weigh technical
support for assistance.

Check that all buons are working properly. If all buons are working, check the
corresponding box in the Maintenance Log.
BLUETOOTH (screen #3)
This screen displays a unique Bluetooth idenfier programmed on the MSU. This
is the number you will see when connecng to a smart device for the first me.
If there is an idenfier displayed, check the box in the Maintenance Log.
If this is blank, the Bluetooth transmier has failed. Disconnect from power,
reconnect, wait 10 seconds, and try again.
When the display turns on it will show the firmware number (screen #1). Press
the MENU buon to cycle through the following screens.
Press the MENU buon to go back to the firmware number (screen #1) and then
press the ON/OFF buon to power off the gauge and exit “Diagnoscs Mode”.

AIR SENSOR(S) (screen #4)
This screen displays the air suspension pressure (in psi) measured by the
internal air sensor(s) and should be between 18 and 90 psi with the vehicle’s
air bags inflated. If applicable, press the UP arrow to disply the pressures for
the second, third, and fourth air sensors. If all air sensors are within the range,
check the corresponding box in the Maintenance Log.
