Important
Thank you for purchasing Rigid Industries’ products for your Jeep®. Installation is fairly simple with
the right tools and good mechanical abilities. If you are not condent in your mechanical skills,
please seek the help of a professional to perform the installation. Please read through all of these
instructions and tips before proceeding with the installation. It is strongly recommended that
this product be installed by a professional.
Installation of this product requires cutting of your factory installed grille. Your factory grille will
be unusable after it has been cut. This product has more surface area than your factory grille. It
may reduce airow into your vehicle. Reduction in airow can potentially lead to overheating
issues. This product has been pre-bent to t the contour of your vehicle grille shell. However, it may
have partially attened during shipping. It may be necessary for you to re-shape in order to get a
good t.

(2) Side Brackets
(1) Rigid Jeep Template
(16) 1/4-20 x 5/8 Long SS Button Head Screws
(16) 1/4-20 SS Nyloc Nuts
(16) 1/4-20 SS Washers

Always disconnect any power sources connected to your
vehicle before servicing fuses or electrical systems.

step 1
Remove (2) press-in buttons and save for re-use. See Figure 1.

Remove (4) 10mm bolts and save for re-use. See Figure 2.

Pinch (4) clips at the bottom of the grille shell to release grille. See Figure 3.

Cut template out, align on grille, and secure to grille . See Figure 5.
step 4
Twist and turn fog lights out of grille shell and remove grille shell. See Figure 4.

Drill (4) outer corner holes on template with 5/16 drill bit. See Figure 7.
step 6
With a pick tool, rmly mark (12) inside holes along edge. This will be your cut guide.

Remove template, use tape as a straight edge following the previously marked (12)
holes. See Figure 8.
***NOTE: Make sure cut lines are inside the (4) corner holes previously drilled.

Use an air saw, Dremel ®, or similar tool, to cut out grille using taped straight edge as a
guideline. See Figure 9.

Place Rigid grille on shell and install (4) 1/4-20 x 5/8 Long SS Button Head Screws, (4)
1/4-20 SS Nyloc Nuts, (4) 1/4-20 SS Washers in the corners of the grille. See Figure 10.

Install (2) top and bottom mounting brackets and (2) side mounting brackets with (12)
1/4-20 x 5/8 Long SS Button Head Screws, (12) 1/4-20 SS Nyloc Nuts, (12) 1/4-20 SS
Washers. See Figure 11.

Install 20’’ E-Series® light using the hardware provided with the light. See Figure 12.
step 13
Re-connect factory fog lights and press Rigid grille into the vehicle snapping (4) factory
clips into place. Re-insert (2) press-in buttons saved from Step 1. See Figure 13.

Re-install (4) 10mm screws saved from Step 2. See Figure 14.
Wire your lights according to the instructions included with the light. Take care to avoid
any heat sources and sharp or abrasive surfaces.
