headset. This headset represents the state of the art in wireless
headset design and is designed for reliable and trouble-free
performance.

Features
Charging the battery
• Connect the charger to the headset and to a power outlet.
While the battery is charging, the indicator lights red.When
the battery is fully charged, the indicator lights yellow-green.
Turning the headset on and off
1To turn on the headset, press and hold the power button for
two seconds. The headset beeps and the indicator blinks
yellow-green. (The first time you turn on the headset, you
have to press and hold the power button for five seconds.)
2To turn off the headset, press and hold the power button for
four seconds.The headset beeps and the indicator briefly
lights red.
Pairing the headset
1Press and hold the Power/Send/End button for four
seconds. The indicator rapidly flashes yellow-green.
2Release the button. The headset is now in pairing mode.
3Activate the Bluetooth connection from the phone. See your
phone‘s documentation for instructions.
4Set the phone to start searching for Bluetooth devices.
5Select RF-QX5 from the list of found devices.
6If necessary, enter a PIN Code 0000 to pair and connect the
headset with your phone. In some phones, you need to
make a connection separately after pairing.

Resetting the headset
• To reset the headset, connect the charger. The
headset is turned off and reset.
