STEP 1: Aligning Tracks on Vehicle
A. Align tracks on the inner side of the roof
ditch mouldings. See Fig. 1a
A. Remove the paper backing from Backing
Tape on the underside of all Tracks.
B. Reposition Tracks in place on the vehicle roof
C. Fit End Caps at each end of Tracks
beneath Backing Tape (See Fig. 5a).
D. Rivet Tracks to vehicle roof using
Rivets supplied.
STEP 3: Riveting Tracks to Vehicle Roof

STEP 2: Marking and Drilling Holes.
A. Mark holes in Tracks onto vehicle roof using a felt tip pen.
B. Drill all marked holes using a 5mm drill bit and carefully remove drilling swarf.
The use of a drill stop is recommended as only the roof panel is to be drilled.
Use caution as to not damage the interior roof lining.
C. Seal in and around all holes with Butyl Mastic.

NOTE: For maximum roof strength fit tracks as
close as possible to roof ditch mouldings
NOTE: Ensure that all components are correctly positioned, as described within these Fitting Instructions,
before proceeding to drill holes - always double check.

B. Position tracks so that the front og the
Closed End Cap is aligned with the centre
of the B-Pillar. See Fig. 1b
Maximum carrying capacity for a 2 bar and 3 bar system is 75kg and 100kg respectively. Check vehicle owners manual to confirm that this
does not exceed maximum vehicle roof load. Always use the lower of the 2 values as your maximum load weight.

A. Slide Hex Nuts into Track to
approximately the required position.
B. Place Cross Bar assembly
onto Track above Hex Nuts.
C. Fasten using Bolt, and tighten (Fig. 5).
D. Tighten all bolts including the End
Support to Cross Bar fixing bolts
assembled in Step 1.
STEP 5 :Fitting Cross Bars to Tracks

STEP 4:Fitting End
Support to Cross-bar
A. Insert End Support into
Cross-bar.
B. Insert Nut into Bottom Slug
and then slide both
components into the
cross-bar.
C. Loosely fasten using Bolt,
Spring Washer and Flat
Washer.
Assemble as shown in Fig. 4
D. Fit End Cap to each end
of cross-bar.
E. Fit Under Cover Strip to exposed centre and ends
of all cross bars
