Additional Parts
The parts listed below are added to the list of items packed with
this unit that are listed in the user's manual. These parts are re-
quired when installing this unit on one of the models listed in
the previous section. For other models, they are not needed.

About This document
If you're using one of the following printers, please refer to this
document in addition to the user's manual for this unit.
Models Covered by This Document
• CAMMJET PRO II series (such as the CJ-540)
• SOLJET PRO II series machines that support cutting
(such as the SC-540)
To install this unit on one of these models, the additional opera-
tion described here must be carried out. If your printer is not one
of these models, then you do not need to carry out the instruc-
tions in this document.

Additional Operation
Before you install this unit's control box on the printer, carry out
the following additional operation. This operation uses the ex-
tension plate to change the position where the AC adapter is
mounted.
This operation also requires a Phillips screwdriver (not included)
for tightening the screws.

Detach the AC adapter from the control box.

Attach the extension plate to the control box.
The extension plate has a front and a back. Orient the ex-
tension plate so that the screw holes are positioned as shown
in the figure.
To attach the extension plate, use the included screws and
the small cap screw.

Attach the AC adapter.
To attach it, use the screws and cap screw you removed in
step 1.
Note that the AC adapter is installed at a location opposite
its original position.

This completes the additional operation. Continue by
following the instructions in the user's manual to in-
stall the unit.
