This document is the setup guide for four models: the RS-640 and RS-540 ECO-SOL MAX ink models and the RS-640 and
RS-540 AQUEOUS PIGMENT ink (FPG2) models. This document uses the following notation to distinguish between the
models or ink types where necessary.
To distinguish between the dierent sizes
RS-640 – 64-inch models
RS-540 – 54-inch models
To distinguish between the dierent ink types
Models using ECO-SOL MAX ink – ECO-SOL MAX ink models
Models using AQUEOUS PIGMENT ink (FPG2) – AQUEOUS PIGMENT ink models
Also, most of the gures in this document depict the 54-inch models.

About the Symbols
The symbol alerts the user to important instructions or warnings. The specic meaning of the
symbol is determined by the design contained within the triangle. The symbol at left means "danger
of electrocution."
The symbol alerts the user to items that must never be carried out (are forbidden). The specic
thing that must not be done is indicated by the design contained within the circle. The symbol at left
means the unit must never be disassembled.
The symbol alerts the user to things that must be carried out. The specic thing that must be
done is indicated by the design contained within the circle. The symbol at left means the power-cord
plug must be unplugged from the outlet.
