UTILIZZO CONFORME AGLI SCOPI PREVISTI
Questo utensile è destinato a funzionare come lucidatrice. Leggere tutti gli
avvertimenti di sicurezza, le istruzioni, le illustrazioni e le specifiche forniti
con questo utensile. Il mancato rispetto di tutte le istruzioni sotto riportate può
causare un incidente grave.
Le operazioni di molatura, levigatura, spazzolatura metallica o di taglio non
sono previste con questo utensile. Le operazioni per le quali non è previsto
l’utensile possono provocare un pericolo e causare danni alle persone.
Non utilizzare accessori non specificatamente realizzati dal produttore di
utensile e da lui consigliati. Il semplice fatto che l’accessorio possa essere
fissato al vostro utensile non garantisce un funzionamento in tutta sicurezza.
La velocità nominale dell’accessorio deve essere almeno pari alla velocità
massima indicata sull’utensile. Gli accessori fatti funzionare a una velocità
superiore a quella nominale possono rompersi ed essere proiettati in aria.
Il diametro esterno e lo spessore del vostro accessorio devono essere
adatti alle caratteristiche di capacità della protezione di sicurezza del vostro
utensile. Gli accessori che hanno dimensioni non corrette non possono essere
protetti o controllati adeguatamente.
La conformazione delle mole o di qualsiasi altro accessorio deve adattarsi
correttamente al mandrino dell’utensile. Gli accessori dotati di fori dell’albero
che non corrispondono agli elementi di montaggio sull’utensile non rimarranno
in equilibrio, vibreranno eccessivamente e potranno provocare una perdita di
controllo.
Non usare un accessorio danneggiato. Prima di ogni utilizzo esaminare gli
accessori, quali le mole abrasive, per evidenziare la presenza eventuale di
scheggiature o di incrinature. Se l’utensile o l’accessorio ha subito una
caduta, esaminare i danni eventuali o installare un accessorio non
danneggiato. Dopo aver esaminato e installato un accessorio, mettetevi,
insieme alle persone presenti, a una distanza di sicurezza dall’accessorio
rotante e fate funzionare l’utensile alla velocità massima a vuoto per un
minuto. Gli accessori danneggiati si romperanno in genere in questo periodo di
prova.
Indossare un’attrezzatura di protezione individuale. A seconda
dell’applicazione, utilizzare uno schermo per il viso, una maschera o degli
occhiali di sicurezza. A seconda del caso, indossare una maschera
antipolvere, delle protezioni auditive, dei guanti e un grembiule in grado di
fermare i piccoli frammenti abrasivi del pezzo in lavorazione. La protezione
oculare deve essere in grado di arrestare i detriti volanti prodotti dalle diverse
operazioni. La maschera antipolvere o il respiratore deve essere capace di filtrare
le particelle prodotte dal vostro lavoro. L’esposizione prolungata ai rumori di
intensità elevata può provocare una perdita di udito.
Mantenere le persone presenti a una distanza di sicurezza rispetto alla zona
di lavoro. Chiunque entri nella zona di lavoro deve indossare un’attrezzatura
di protezione individuale. Dei frammenti del pezzo in lavorazione oppure
accessori rotti possono volare via e causare delle lesioni nelle immediate
vicinanze della zona di lavoro.
Tenere l’utensile unicamente per le superfici di presa isolanti, mentre si
effettuano le operazioni in cui l’accessorio di taglio può essere in contatto
con dei cavi nascosti oppure con il suo stesso cavo. Il contatto tra l’accessorio
di taglio con un cavo “in tensione” può ugualmente mettere “in tensione” le parti
metalliche esposte dell’utensileelettrico e far prendere una scossa elettrica
all’operatore.
Posizionare il cavo lontano dall’accessorio di rotazione. Se perdete il
controllo, il cavo può essere tagliato oppure attorcigliarsi e la vostra mano oppure
il braccio può essere tirato nell’accessorio di rotazione.

Non riporre mai l’utensile elettrico prima che l’accessorio non si sia fermato
completamente. L’accessorio di rotazione può fare presa sulla superficie e
mettere l’utensile elettrico fuori del vostro controllo.
Non fare funzionare l’utensile elettrico mentre lo si porta a fianco.
Un contatto accidentale con l’accessorio di rotazione potrebbe far impigliare i
vostri vestiti e attirare l’accessorio addosso a voi.
Pulire con regolarità le aperture di ventilazione dell’utensile elettrico. Il
ventilatore del motore attirerà la povere all’interno dell’alloggiamento e un
accumulo eccessivo di polvere di metallo può provocare dei pericoli elettrici.
Non far funzionare l’utensile elettrico in prossimità di materiali infiammabili.
Le scintille potrebbero infiammare questi materiali.
Non utilizzare degli accessori che hanno bisogno di refrigeranti liquidi.
L’utilizzo di acqua o di altri refrigeranti liquidi può provocare un’elettrocuzione o
una scossa elettrica.
AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA SPECIFICHE
Non permettere ad alcuna parte allentata della cuffia dell’accessorio di
lucidatura ne alle stringhe di fissaggio di girare liberamente.
Mettere in sicurezza o tagliare ogni fili di fissaggio allentato. I fili di fissaggio
allentati e in rotazione possono attorcigliarsi sulle vostre dita oppure
impigliarsi sul pezzo in lavorazione.

INFORMAZIONE DI RUMORE / VALORE MEDIO
DELL'ACCELERAZIONE
Il livello equivalente di pressione sonora (rumorosità) e il valore quadratico
medio dell'accelerazione sono misurati secondo le norme EN 60745
ATTENZIONE I valori di misura indicati sono validi solo per utensili
nuovi. Nell’impiego quotidiano i valori di rumore e vibrazione cambiano.I
valori di emissione indicati sono comparativi e utilizzabili per una valu-
tazione provvisoria dei rischi di esposizione dell’operatore durante il pe-
riodo di lavoro. La corretta valutazione del periodo di lavoro deve comprendere
anche i tempi di funzionamento a vuoto e di arresto dell’utensile. I valori di emis-
sioni indicati sono rappresentativi delle principali applicazioni dell’utensile. Se
l’utensile viene utilizzato per altre applicazioni, con altri accessori o se non viene
sottoposto a regolare manutenzione, i valori di emissione possono aumentare
sensibilmente durante il funzionamento.

MESSA IN FUNZIONE
ATTENZIONE Osservare la tensione di rete! La tensione della rete
deve corrispondere a quella indicata sulla targhetta
dell’elettroutensile.
PERICOLO Prima di qualunque intervento sull’elettroutensile
estrarre la spina di rete dalla presa.
PRIMA DELLA MESSA IN SERVIZIO
Prima di mettere in funzione la macchina accertarsi che:
- l’imballo sia integro e non mostri segni di danneggiamento dovuti a trasporto e
magazzinaggio;
- la macchina sia completa; controllare che numero e natura dei componenti
siano conformi a quanto riportato sul presente libretto;
- la fonte di energia sia conforme alle caratteristiche della macchina;
- cavo di alimentazione e relativa spina siano in perfetto stato;
- l’interruttore ON/OFF (2) sia efficiente operando, però, a spina disinserita;
- tutti i componenti della macchina siano montati correttamente e non presentino
segni di danneggiamento;
- le feritoie di ventilazione (8) non siano ostruite.
MONTAGGIO DELLA MACCHINA
- Posizionare la protezione anticalore (5) sulla scatola ingranaggi in modo che i
fori per il passaggio dell'impugnatura corrispondano a quelli esistenti sulla
scatola ingranaggi;
- avvitare l'impugnatura ausiliaria (4); la stessa può essere posizionata sia a
destra che a sinistra del corpo macchina;
- qualora si desideri lavorare senza impugnatura ausiliaria, la cuffia deve essere
fissata con le viti (6) in dotazione.

MONTAGGIO/SOSTITUZIONE DEL PIATTELLO MOUSSE
MONTAGGIO:
- Inserire il piattello mousse (9) sull’albero mandrino (10);
- avvitare il piattello mousse e serrare con la chiave a pioli mantenendo fermo
l’albero mandrino con la chiave di servizio(7).
SOSTITUZIONE:
- Bloccare l’albero mandrino con la chiave di servizio (7);
- svitare il piattello mousse.
Non sono ammessi altri attrezzi per il serraggio/disserraggio.
MONTAGGIO/SOSTITUZIONE ACCESSORI
MONTAGGIO:
Far aderire mediante pressione il tampone di lucidatura al supporto.
SOSTITUZIONE:
Asportare a strappo il tampone utilizzato.
AVVIAMENTO E FERMATA
- Avviamento: spingere in avanti l’'interruttore ON/OFF (2);
Per bloccare l’interruttore ON/OFF (2): premere l’interruttore verso il basso
nella parte anteriore, fino allo scatto in posizione ON.
- Fermata: rilasciare l’interruttore ON/OFF (2).
Se bloccato premere l’interruttore ON/OFF (2) nella parte posteriore verso il
basso e rilasciarlo in posizione OFF.
ATTENZIONE: dopo un’interruzione dell’energia elettrica se
l’interruttore ON/OFF è inserito, è necessario rilasciare
l’interruttore (vedi Fermata).
REGOLAZIONE ELETTRONICA DEL NUMERO DI GIRI
La regolazione del numero di giri si ottiene manovrando opportunamente la
rotella del regolatore (3) posta nella parte posteriore della macchina. La scelta
della velocità va fatta in funzione delle caratteristiche dei dischi di carta abrasiva
e del materiale da lavorare.
ACCESSORI
Tamponi fino a 75 mm Ø.
MANUTENZIONE
Tutte le operazioni vanno eseguite a spina disinserita. A fine lavoro,
od in caso di necessità, spolverare con getto di aria compressa il corpo
macchina prestando particolare attenzione alla pulizia delle feritoie di
ventilazione del motore.
Non sono ammessi altri interventi da parte dell'utente.
Per la manutenzione e la periodica pulizia delle parti interne, come spazzole,
cuscinetti, ingranaggi etc. o altre necessità rivolgersi ai Centri di Assistenza
autorizzati anche sul sito www.rupes.com sezione Service.

GENERAL WARNINGS
All instructions concerning safety and the prevention of industrial accidents
can be found in file SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS, that forms integral part of this
documentation. This INSTRUCTION MANUAL only contains additional
information that specifically explain how to use the machine.
SPECIFIC USE
This tool is designed to be used as a polisher. Read all the warnings,
instructions, indications provided on drawings and specifications supplied
with this tool. Failure to comply with all the instructions provided below may
cause electrical shocks, fire and/or serious injuries.
This tool is not intended to be used for smoothing, metal brushing and
cutting operations. The use of this tool for unintended applications may cause
hazards and injuries to people.
The tool must be used with accessories that have been specifically
designed or recommended by the manufacturer. The fixing of the accessory
to the tool does not guarantee a safe operation.
Do not use accessories that are not specifically designed for the intended
use of the tool or that have not been recommended by the manufacturer.
The fact that an accessory can be fixed to the tool does not imply that it can be
used safely.
The rated speed of accessories must be at least equivalent to the maximum
speed of the tool. If operated at a greater speed than the rated one,
accessories may break and cause the ejection of chips.
The external diameter and thickness of accessories must be appropriate to
guarantee the protection and safety of the tool. Accessories with incorrect
dimensions cannot be adequately protected or controlled.
The configuration of the cutting/grinding wheels or any other accessory
mustperfectly adapt to the tool spindle. Accessories with holes that cannot be
aligned with the fitting components on the tools will cause unbalance, excessive
vibrations and may be difficult to control.
Do not use an accessory if damaged. Before use, inspect all the accessories,
like the abrasive cutting/grinding wheels, in order to verify that they are not
cracked or splintered. If the tool or accessory has fallen, verify that they are
not damaged and, if necessary, replace it with a new one. After inspecting
or installing an accessory, move to a safe distance with any other person
present and operate the tool at maximum speed without load for one minute.
Damaged accessories generally break during this test period.
Wear personal protective equipment. According to the the application, use
face shield, mask or safety goggles. According to the case, wear a dust
mask, ear protection, gloves and a smock capable of stopping small abrasive
fragments of the work piece. Eye protection must be able to stop flying bits
produced from the different operations The dust mask or the respirator must be
capable of filtering particles produced by your work. Prolonged exposure to high
intensity noise can cause a loss of hearing.
Keep the people present at a safety distance with respect to the work area.
Anyone entering the work area must wear personal protection equipment.
The fragments of the work piece or the broken accessories can fly off and cause
injuries in the immediate vicinity of the work area.
Keep the tool only for isolating gripping surfaces, while the operations are
carried out in which the cutting accessory may be in contact with the hidden
cables or with its cable. The contact between the cutting accessory and the
cable "under voltage" can also put the exposed metal parts of the electrical tool
"under voltage" and can cause an electrical shock for the operator.
Position the cable far from the rotation accessory. If control is lost, the cable
can be cut or twisted and your hand or arm could be pulled into the rotation
accessory.
Never put the electrical tool back before the accessory has completely
stopped. The rotation accessory can be pressed on the surface with the electrical
tool put out of your control.
Do not operate the electrical tool while carrying it at the side. Accidental
contact with the rotation accessory can get your clothes entangled and attract

the accessory towards you.
Regularly clean the fan openings of the electrical tool. The motor fan will
attract the dust into the housing; excess dust accumulation can cause electrical
hazards.
Do not operate the electrical tool in the proximity of flammable material. The
sparks can ignite these materials.
Do not use accessories that need liquid coolants. The use of water or other
liquid coolants can cause electrocution or electrical shock.
SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS
Verify that no loosened part of the polishing tool shroud or the locking ties
can rotate freely. Safely position or cut all the loosened fixing wires.
Loosened or revolving fixing wires may twist around the operator’s fingers
or get caught by the work piece being machined

DANGER The indicate measurements refer to new power tools.
Daily usa causes the noise and vibration values to change.
Displayed emission values are comparative and are to be employed for
a provisional assessment of the operator’s risk exposure during the work period.
Appropriate evaluation of work period must also include tool’s idle and stop
periods. These emission values represent the tool’s main applications.
If the tool is used for other applications, with other accessories, or if it does not
undergo regular maintenance, emission values can significantly increase
during operations.

STARTING UP
WARNING Pay attention to the mains voltage! The mains voltage must
correspond to the voltage indicated on the technical data identification
label (1).
DANGER Before any intervention on the electrical tool take the plug
out from the socket
BEFORE STARTING THE TOOL
Before starting-up the tool, ensure that:
- the packaging is complete and does not show signs of having been damaged
during storage or transport;
- the tool is complete; check that the number and type of components comply
with that reported in this instruction booklet;
- the power supply and socket outlet can support the load reported in the table
and that indicated on the tool identification plate reproduced;
- the power supply cable and plug are in perfect condition;
- the ON/OFF switch (2) works properly though with the power supply
disconnected;
- all the parts of the tool have been assembled in the proper manner and that
there are no signs of damage;
- the ventilation (8) slots are not obstructed.
ASSEMBLING THE TOOL
- Position the heat protection (5) on the gearbox such that the holes for mounting
the handle are aligned with those on the gearbox;
- screw in the auxiliary handle (4); the handle can be mounted on the left or right
of the tool body;
- if the tool is to be used without the side handle, the heat shield must be fixed in
place using the screws provided (6).

DISPOSAL
For EC countries only: According to the European Directive on Waste
from electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation in
conformity with national standards, exhausted electrical equipment
must be collected separately, in order to be recycled in an
environmentally friendly way. The product, when it reaches the end of its life, must
not be dispersed in the environment or thrown away as household waste. It must
be disposed at authorized recycling centres (contact your local authorities to
know where to dispose of the product according to the law). The correct disposal
of the product contributes to the health and preservation of the environment.
Illegal disposal of the product will entail penalties against the offenders.
Disposing of the product correctly contributes to protecting human health and
safeguarding the environment. Any illegitimate disposal of the product will be
punishable by law.
ASSEMBLY/REPLACEMENT OF MOUSSE DISK
ASSEMBLY
- Screw the mousse disk (9) on the spindle (10).
- screw the mousse disk on the tapered ring nut and tighten it using the pin
spanner, preventing the spindle from moving using the wrench (7).
REPLACEMENT
- Lock the spindle shaft with a wrench (7);
- Unscrew the mousse disk.
No other tools for tightening / loosening.
ASSEMBLY/REPLACEMENT OF ACCESSOIRES
ASSEMBLY
Apply pressure on polishing pad to join pad to plate.
REPLACEMENT
Remove the polishing foam used and apply the new one with pressing on the
backing pad.
STARTING AND STOPPING
- Starting: push the slide of the ON/OFF (2) forward; if the tool is to be locked in
the ON position, apply pressure to the front part of the slide switch at the same
time.
- Stopping: release the slide ON/OFF (2).
If locked, press the ON/OFF switch in the lower part downwards and release it
in the OFF position.
WARNING: after an interruption of the electrical energy, if the
ON/OFF switch is inserted, it is necessary to release the switch
(see Stopped).
ELECTRONIC RPM REGULATION
The rpm can be adjusted by rotating the speed adjustment wheel(3) located on

supplémentaires strictement liées à l’usage spécifique de outil.
UTILISATION CONFORME
Cet outil est prévu pour fonctionner en tant que lustreuse. Lire toutes les
consignes de sécurité, les instructions, les illustrations et les spécifications
fournies avec cet outil. Le non-respect des instructions indiquées ci-dessous peut
provoquer une décharge, un incendie et/ou de graves blessures.
Il est déconseillé d’effectuer des opérations de ponçage, brossage métallique
ou de coupe avec cet outil. L’utilisation non conforme de cet outil peut provoquer
des risques et causer des blessures.
Ne pas utiliser des accessoires non spécialement conçus ou conseillés par le
fabricant. Le simple fait que l’accessoire puisse être fixé sur votre outil ne garantit
pas un fonctionnement en toute sécurité.
N’utilisez pas d’accessoires n’ayant pas été spécialement réalisés pour
l’utilisation prévue ou conseillés par le fabricant. Le simple fait que l’accessoire

La vitesse nominale de l’accessoire doit être au moins égale à la vitesse
maximale indiquée sur l'outil. Les accessoires fonctionnant à une vitesse supérieure
à la vitesse nominale peuvent se briser et être projetés en l’air.
Le diamètre extérieur et l’épaisseur de votre accessoire doivent être adaptés
aux caractéristiques de capacité du protecteur de votre outil. Il est impossible de
protéger ou de contrôler de façon appropriée les accessoires présentant des
dimensions non correctes.
La taille des meules ou de tout autre accessoire doit être adaptée à la broche
de l’outil. Les accessoires dont le perçage ne correspond pas exactement aux
éléments de montage de l’outil sont en déséquilibre, vibrent excessivement et
peuvent entraîner une perte de contrôle.
N’utilisez pas d’accessoires endommagés. Avant toute utilisation, examinez les
accessoires tels que les meules abrasives, pour vérifier l’éventuelle présence
d’ébréchures ou de fissures. En cas de chute de l’outil ou de l’accessoire, vérifiez
la présence de dommages ou remplacez l’accessoire. Après avoir examiné et
installé un accessoire, placez-vous, ainsi que les personnes présentes, à une
certaine distance de l’accessoire en rotation et faites fonctionner l’outil électrique
à sa vitesse maximale à vide pendant une minute. En général, les accessoires
endommagés se cassent au cours de cet d’essai.
Porter un équipement de protection individuelle. Selon l'application, utiliser un
écran pour le visage, un masque ou des lunettes de sécurité. Selon le cas, porter
un masque anti-poussière, des protections auditives, des gants et un tablier
capable d'arrêter les petits fragments abrasifs de la pièce en usinage. La
protection oculaire doit être capable d'arrêter les détritus volants produits par
les différentes opérations. Le masque anti-poussière ou le respirateur doit être
capable de filtrer les particules produites par votre travail. L'exposition prolongée aux
bruits d'intensité élevée peut provoquer une perte de l'ouïe.
Garder les personnes présentes à une distance de sécurité par rapport à la zone
de travail. Quiconque entre dans la zone de travail doit porter un équipement de
protection individuelle. Des fragments de la pièce en usinage ou bien des
accessoires cassés peuvent s'envoler et causer des lésions aux abords immédiats de
la zone de travail.
Garder l'outil uniquement pour les surfaces de prise isolantes, tandis qu'on
effectue les opérations où l'accessoire de découpe peut être en contact avec
des câbles cachés ou bien avec son propre câble. Le contact entre l'accessoire
de découpe avec un câble "sous tension" peut également mettre "sous tension" les
pièces métalliques exposées de l'outil électrique et faire subir une électrocution à
l'opérateur.
Placer le câble loin de l'accessoire de rotation. Si vous perdez le contrôle, le câble
peut être coupé ou bien s'enrouler et votre main ou bien votre bras peut être tiré dans

l'accessoire de rotation.
Ne jamais reposer l'outil électrique tant que l'acessoire ne s'est pas
complètement arrêté. L'accessoire de rotation peut faire prise sur la surface et mettre
l'outil électrique hors de votre contrôle.
Ne pas faire fonctionner l'outil électrique tandis qu'on le porte sur le côté.
Un contact accidentel avec l'accessoire de rotation pourrait faire coincer vos
vêtements et attirer l'accessoire sur vous.
Nettoyer régulièrement les ouvertures de ventilation de l'outil électrique. Le
ventilateur du moteur attire la poussière à l'intérieur de l'emplacement et une
accumulation excessive de poussière de métal peut provoquer des dangers
électriques.
Ne pas faire fonctionner l'outil électrique à proximité de matériaux inflammables.
Les étincelles pourraient enflammer ces matériaux.
Ne pas utiliser des accessoires qui ont besoin de liquides de refroidissement.
L'utilisation d'eau ou d'autres liquides de refroidissement peuvent provoquer une
électrocution.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ SPÉCIFIQUES
Vérifier que ni les parties desserrées de la protection de la lustreuse ni les
fixations tournent librement. Sécuriser ou couper tout fil de fixation desserré.
Les fils de fixation desserrés ou en rotation peuvent s’entortiller autour de vos
doigts ou entrer en contact avec la pièce usinée.

MISE EN SERVICE
ATTENTION Observer la tension de réseau! La tension du réseau doit
correspondre à celle indiquée sur la plaque d'identification des données
techniques (1).
DANGER Avant une quelconque intervention sur l'outil électrique,
extraire la fiche de réseau de la prise
AVANT LA MISE EN SERVICE
Avant de mettre la machine en service, s'assurer que:
- l'emballage est intégre et qu'il ne montre aucun signe d'endomma-gements dus
au transport et au stockage;
- la machine est complète; s'assurer que le nombre et la nature des composants
sont conformes aux indications contenues dans le présent livret d'instructions;
- la source d'énergie est conforme aux caractéristiques de la machine;
- le câble d'alimentation et la fische relative sont en parfait état;
- l'interrupteur de mise en ON/OFF (2) est efficace en agissant cependant lorsque
la fiche est débranchée;
- tous les composants de la machine sont montès correctement et ne présentent
pas de signes d'endommagement;
- les fentes de ventililation (11) ne sont pas bouchées.
MONTAGE DE LA MACHINE
- Mettre le protection anti-chaleur (5) sur le “carter” revoi d’angle de maniére à
ce que les trous pour le passage de la poignèe correspondent à ceux qui se
trouvent sur la boIêe des engrenages;
- visser la poignèe auxiliaire (4): elle peut être mise à droite ou à gauche du corps
de la machine;
- en cas de travail sans la poignèe auxiliaire, le capot doit être fixèe à l’aide des
vis (6) fournies avec la machine.

Utilisez uniquement les pièces ou accessoires originaux RUPES.
ÉLIMINATION
Uniquement pour les pays de l’UE : Conformément à la directive
européenne relative aux déchets d’équipements électriques et
électroniques et son application selon les normes nationales, les
équipements électriques usagés doivent être collectés séparément afin
d’être recyclés de manière écologiquement responsable.
Le produit, lorsqu'il atteint sa fin de vie, ne doit pas être dispersé dans
l’environnement ou jeté avec les déchets ménagers, mais doit être collecté dans
un centre de tri sélectif afin d’être éliminé (Veuillez contacter les autorités locales

MONTAGE/REMPLACEMENT PLATEAU MOUSSE
MONTAGE
- Mettre le plateau mousse (8) sur l’arbre mandrin (4);
- visser le collier conique (7) et serrer à l’aide de la clé à echelons en immobili-
sant l’arbre mandrin à l’aide de la clé.
REMPLACEMENT
- Verrouillez l'arbre de broche avec une clé (7);
- Dévissez la plateau mousse.
Aucun autre outil pour le serrage / desserrage.
MONTAGE/REMPLACEMENT ACCESSOIRES
MONTAGE
Appuyer fermement sur le tampon de lustrage afin de le fixer au
plateau.
REMPLACEMENT
Retirez la mousse de polissage utilisé et appliquez le nouveau en
appuyant sur le plateau de ponçage.
MISE EN MARCHE ET ARRET
- Mise en marche: pousser vers l’avant le coulisseau ON/OFF (2); pour le bloquer
en position ON, appuyer en même temps sur la partie avant du couliseau.
- Arrêt: relâcher le coulisseau ou ON/OFF (2);.
Si bloqué, appuyer sur l'interrupteur marche/arrêt dans la partie arrière vers le
bas et le libérer dans la position OFF.
ATTENTION: après une interruption de l'énergie électrique, si
l'interrupteur ON/OFF est enclenché, il faut libérer
l’interrupteur (voir Arrêt).
OUTILS DE TRAVAIL ADMIS
Tampons jusqu'à 75 mm de diamètre.
RÉGLAGE ÉLECTRONIQUE DU NOMBRE DE TOURS
Le réglage du nombre de tours s’obtient en manoeuvrant de manière appropriée
le bouton régulateur de vitesse (3) situé sur la partie arrière de la machine.
Le choix de la vitesse doit être fait en fonction des caractéristiques des disques
du papier abrasif et du matériau à usiner.
ENTRETIEN
Toutes les opèrations doivent être effectuées à fiche ètant
débranchèe. A la fin du travail et en cas de nècessitè, dèpoussièrer le
corps de la machine à l’aide d’un jet d’air comprimè en faisant
particuliérement attention au nettoyage des fentes de ventilation du moteur.
Aucune autre intervention de l’utilisateur n’est pas admise.
Tous les travaux d’entretien et les travaux de polissage des piéces internes,
comme les brosses, coussinet, engrenages etc., doivent être effecuès par un
atelier de réparation autorisè www.rupes.com.

Dokumentation ist. Diese GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNG enthält daher nur
Zusatzinformationen, welche den spezifischen Einsatz des Geräts betreffen.
BESTIMMNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
Dieses Gerät ist für den Einsatz als Poliermaschine bestimmt. Beachten Sie bitte
alle Sicherheitshinweise, Anweisungen, Abbildungen und technischen Daten,
die zusammen mit diesem Gerät geliefert werden. Bei Nichtbeachtung aller
nachfolgend aufgeführten Anweisungen kann es zu Stromschlägen, Bränden
und/oder schweren Unfällen kommen.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht zum Glätten, Schleifen, metallischen Bürsten oder
Schneiden geeignet. Wird das Gerät entgegen der diesbezüglichen Warnung
dennoch für Arbeiten dieser Art verwendet, kann dies Gefährdung und
Personenschäden verursachen.
Es ist ausschließlich eigens für den vorgesehenen Einsatz hergestelltes bzw.
vom Hersteller empfohlenes Zubehör zu verwenden. Die alleinige Tatsache, dass
das Zubehörteil auf Ihrem Gerät befestigt werden kann, garantiert keinen vollkommen
sicheren Betrieb.
Von Vorgängen des Schleifens, metallischen Bürstens und Polierens mit diesem
Werkzeug wird abgeraten. Vorgänge, für die der Einsatz des Werkzeugs nicht
vorgesehen ist, können eine Gefahr darstellen und Personenschäden verursachen.
Kein Zubehör verwenden, das nicht ausdrücklich für den vorgesehenen
Gebrauch hergestellt oder vom Hersteller empfohlen wurde. Die bloße Tatsache,
dass das Zubehör auf Ihrem Werkzeug angebracht werden kann, garantiert keine
Funktionsweise unter völlig sicheren Bedingungen.
Die Nenngeschwindigkeit des Zubehörs muss mindestens der auf dem
Werkzeug angegebenen Höchstgeschwindigkeit entsprechen. Zubehör, dass bei
einer Geschwindigkeit über der Nenngeschwindigkeit verwendet wird, kann brechen
und in die Luft geschleudert werden.
Die dargestellten Werte basieren auf einer Nennspannung von 230V/50Hz basiert. Im Falle von Spannungen und Frequenzen von verschiedenen Leistungswerten
kann variieren. Beziehen sich auf die technischen Spezifikationen Label auf die Nennwerte des Werkzeugs.
Der Außendurchmesser und die Stärke Ihres Zubehörs müssen sich für den
Schutzgrad der Sicherheitsvorrichtung Ihres Werkzeugs eignen. Zubehör mit
nichtkorrekten Größen kann nicht angemessen geschützt oder kontrolliert werden.
Die Beschaffenheit der Schleifscheiben oder jeglichen anderen Zubehörs muss sich
korrekt an das Spannfutter des Werkzeugs anpassen.
Zubehör mit Bohrungen der Welle, die nicht mit den Montageelementen auf dem
Werkzeug übereinstimmen, bleiben nicht im Gleichgewicht, vibrieren zu stark
und können zu einem Kontrollverlust führen. Verwenden Sie kein beschädigtes
Zubehör. Vor jedem Einsatz das Zubehör wie die Schleifscheiben auf eventuelle
Splitterungen oder Risse untersuchen.
Ist das Werkzeug oder das Zubehör heruntergefallen, auf eventuelle Schäden
untersuchen oder nicht beschädigtes Zubehör installieren. Nachdem ein
Zubehörartikel untersucht und installiert wurde, begeben Sie sich gemeinsam
mit den anwesenden Personen in einen Sicherheitsabstand von dem rotierenden
Zubehörartikel und lassen Sie das Werkzeug bei Höchstgeschwindigkeit eine
Minute lang leer laufen. Beschädigtes Zubehör bricht im Allgemeinen während
dieses Probezeitraums.
Die persönliche Schutzausrüstung tragen. Je nach Anwendung, muss man eine
Abschirmung für das Gesicht, eine Maske oder eine Schutzbrille tragen. Je nach
Bedingungen trägt man eine Staubschutzmaske, Gehörschutz, Handschuhe und
eine Schürze, die vor kleinen Schleifstückchen des Werkstücks schützen kann.
Der Augenschutz muss herausgeschleuderte Produktteilchen während der
verschiedenen Tätigkeiten aufhalten können. Die Staubschutzmaske oder das
Atemgerät müssen die während der Arbeiten entstehenden Teilchen aufhalten. Eine
längere Aussetzung an starken Lärm. kann zu einem Gehörschaden führen.
Die anwesenden Personen müssen sich in einem Sicherheitsabstand zu dem
Arbeitsbereich befinden. Jeder der den Arbeitsbereich betritt, muss die
persönliche Schutzausrüstung tragen. Teilchen des Werkstücks oder beschädigtes
Zubehör könne herausgeschleudert werden und zu Verletzungen in unmittelbarer
Nähe zum Arbeitsbereich führen.
Das Werkzeug ausschließlich an den isolierten Greifflächen greifen, wenn man

Arbeiten ausführt bei denen das Schneidwerkzeug mit versteckten Kabeln oder
mit seinem Kabel in Berührung kommen könnte. Der Kontakt zwischen dem
Schneidwerkzeug und dem "unter Spannung" stehendem Kabel, kann die Metallteile
des Elektrowerkzeugs "unter Spannung" setzen und der Bediener können einen
Stromschlag erleiden.
Das Kabel weit ab von dem Drehwerkzeug positionieren. Verliert man die Kontrolle
kann das Kabel durchschnitten werden, sich um Ihre Hand wickeln oder der Arm
könnte in das Drehwerkzeug gezogen werden.
Das Elektrowerkzeug nicht ablegen bevor es vollständig zu stehen kommt. Das
Drehwerkzeug kann auf der Oberfläche fassen und und man könnte die Kontrolle
über das Elektrowerkzeug verlieren.
Das Elektrowerkzeug nicht verwenden, wenn man es neben sich trägt. Bei einem
Kontakt mit dem Drehwerkzeug könnte sich die Kleidung darin verhaken und das
Werkzeug könnte an Sie herangezogen werden.
Regelmäßig die Belüftungsöffnungen des Elektrowerkzeugs reinigen. Der
Ventilator des Motors zieht den Staub ins Innere an, bei einer übermäßigen
Ansammlung von Metallstaub könnte es zu elektrischen Gefahren kommen.
Das Elektrowerkzeug nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren Materialien in Betrieb
nehmen. Die Funken können diese Materialien entzünden.
Kein Zubehör verwenden, das flüssige Kühlmittel benötigt.Die Verwendung von
Wasser oder anderen flüssigen Kühlmitteln kann zu Elektrokution oder einem
Stromschlag führen.
BESONDERE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Weder gelösten Teilen der Abdeckung des Poliergeräts noch den Fixierungen
gestatten, frei zu drehen. Alle gelösten Fixierungen sichern oder abschneiden.

INFORMATIONEN SCHALLPEGEL / MITTLERE
BESCHLEUNIGUNG
Der Schalldruckpegel (Geräuschentwicklung) und die mittlere quadratische
Beschleunigungder Maschine, gemessen gemäß EN 60745.
ACHTUNG Di angegebenen Messwerte gelten für neue Geräte.
Im täglichen Einsatz verändern sich Geräusch-und chwingungswerte.
Bei den gezeigten Pegelwerten handelt es sich um Vergleichswerte,
die zu einer vorläufigen Einschätzung des Risikos für den
Bedienenden während der Arbeitszeit dienen. Für eine angemessene
Einschätzung der Arbeitszeit müssen die Zeiten berücksichtigt werden, in denen
sich das Gerät im Ruhezustand befindet oder ausgeschaltet ist. Diese Werte
wurden anhand der Haupteinsatzgebiete des Geräts ermittelt. Wenn das Gerät
für andere Aufgaben oder mit anderen Zubehörprodukten verwendet wird oder
keine regelmäßigen Wartungsarbeiten durchgeführt werden, können diese Werte
beim Betrieb deutlich überschritten werden.

INBETRIEBNAHME
ACHTUNG Die Netzspannung beachten! Die Netzspannung muss dem
Angaben auf dem Identifizierungsetikett mit den technischen Daten
übereinstimmen (1).
GEFAHR Vor Eingriffen an dem Elektrowerkzeug muss man den
Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen
VOR DER INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor einer Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes sollten Sie sicherstellen:
- daß die Verpackung unversehrt ist und keine Beschädigungen durch Transport
bzw. Lagerung aufweist;
- daß das Gerät vollständig ist, also Anzahl und Art der Gerätekomponenten mit
den Angaben in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung überein stimmen;
- das Stromntez entspricht den Gerätekenndaten;
- Anschlußkabel und-Stecker sind in ordnungsgemäßem Zustand;
- der EIN/AUS- Schalter (2) funktioniert einwandfrei. Zur Überprüfung die in
Kapitel “Inbetriebnahme” beschriebenen Schaltstellungen - allerdings bei
gezogenem Netztstecker - ausprobieren;
- Sämtliche Gerätekomponenten sind ordnungsgemäß montiert und zeigen
keine. Anzeichen von Beschädigung;
- die Lüftungsschlitze (8) sind nicht verstopft.
ZUSAMMENBAU DER MASCHINE
- Die Wärmeschutzkappe (5) so auf das Getriebe aufsetzen, daß die Bohrung
zum Durchstecken des Handgriffs mit der Bohrung im Getriebegehäuse parallel
läuft;
- den seitlichen Handgriff (4) einschrauben. Der Griff kann wahlweise an die linke
oder rechte Seite des Gerätegehäuses angesetzt werden.
- Falls das Gerät ohne seitlichen Handgriff betrieben werden soll, muß man die
Kappe mit den beiliegenden Befestigungsschrauben (6) fixieren.

MONTAGE / AUSTAUSCH VON SCHWAMMSCHEIBE
MONTAGE :
- Den Schwammscheibe (8) auf die Spindel aufsetzen (4);
- die konische Spannmutter festschrauben und dann mit dem
Spannmutterschlüssel festziehen, dazu die Spindel (7).
AUSTAUSCH:
- Sperren Sie die Schwammscheibe mit einem Schraubenschlüssel (7);
- Die Platte abschrauben.

MONTAGE / AUSTAUSCH VON ZUBEHÖRE
MONTAGE:
Drücken Sie auf die Polierscheibe, um die Scheibe mit der Platte zu verbinden.
AUSTAUSCH:
Entfernen Sie die Polierschaumstoff verwendet und die neue ein mit Druck auf
den Schleifteller.
EINSCHALTEN UND AUSSCHALTEN
- Einschalten: Den Schiebeschalter EIN/AUS (2) nach vorn schieben. Falls dieser
in EIN- Stellung festgesetzt werden soll, gleichzeitig das vordere Ende des
Schiebers drücken EIN.
- Ausschalten: Den Schiebeschalter loslassen EIN/AUS (2).
Bei einer Blockierung den Start/Halt-Schalter auf der hinteren Seite nach
unten drücken und in der OFF Stellung belassen.
ACHTUNG: Sollte nach der Unterbrechung der Stromzufuhr der
ON/OFF Schalter eingefügt sein, muss man den Schalter
freigeben (siehe Halt).
ELEKTRONISCHE DREHZAHLREGELUNG
Die Drehzahl stellen Sie über das Rädchen del Geschwindigkeitsreglers (3) im
hinteren Abschnitt des Gerätes ein. Wählen Sie die Drehzahl passend zur Art
der Schliefpapierscheibe sowie den Eigenschaften des bearbeiteten Materials.
ZULÄSSIGE WERKZEUGE
Polierschwamm bis zu 75 mm Ø.
PFLEGE DES GERÄTES
Sämtliche Eingriffe bei gezogenem Netzstecker ausführen.
Das Gerät nach der Arbeit sowie bei Bedarf mit Druckluft von Staub
befreien. Besonders darauf achten, daß die Lüftungsschlitze des
Motors sauber sind.
Sonstige Eingriffe durch den Geräteanwender sind nicht zulässig.
Für die Wartung und die periodische Reinigung von den inneren Teilen z. B:
Bürsten, Lagern, Zahnrädern usw. oder andere Bedürfnisse wenden Sie sich
bitte an einer autorisierten Kundendienststelle an oder auf www.rupes.com.
Verwenden Sie nur die Original RUPES Teile oder Zubehör.

USO CONFORME A LO DETERMINADO
Esta herramienta es una pulidora. Lea todas las advertencias de seguridad, las
instrucciones, las ilustraciones y las especificaciones suministradas con ella.
El incumplimiento de las instrucciones puede ser causa de descargas eléctricas,
incendios y accidentes graves.
Se recomienda no utilizar esta herramienta para operaciones de lijado, cepillado
metálico o corte. El uso de la herramienta en operaciones para las que no está
diseñada puede ser peligroso y provocar daños y lesiones.
No utilice accesorios que no sean para la herramienta y que no estén
recomendados por el fabricante. El hecho de que el accesorio se pueda fijar en la
herramienta no garantiza un funcionamiento totalmente seguro.
No utilizar accesorios no realizados específicamente para el uso previsto o no
aconsejados por el productor. El hecho de que el accesorio se pueda fijar en la

La velocidad nominal del accesorio debe ser al menos igual a la velocidad
máxima indicada en la herramienta. Los accesorios que se hagan funcionar a
una velocidad superior a la nominal pueden romperse y saltar por el aire.
El diámetro exterior y el espesor de su accesorio deben responder a las
características de capacidad de la protección de seguridad de su herramienta
eléctrica. Los accesorios de dimensiones no correctas no se pueden proteger y
controlar adecuadamente.
La conformación de las muelas o de cualquier otro accesorio debe adaptarse
correctamente al mandril de la herramienta. Los accesorios cuyos orificios en el
eje no correspondan con los elementos de montaje en la herramienta no
permanecerán en equilibrio, vibrarán excesivamente y podrán provocar una pérdida
de control.
No utilizar accesorios dañados. Antes del uso, examinar los accesorios, como
las muelas abrasivas, para asegurarse de que no presentan mellas o grietas. Si
la herramienta o el accesorio han sufrido una caída, verificar si hay daños o
instalar un accesorio no dañado. Una vez examinado e instalado un accesorio,
colocarse a una distancia de seguridad del accesorio giratorio, al igual que las
demás personas presentes, y poner en funcionamiento la herramienta a la
velocidad máxima en vacío durante un minuto. Los accesorios dañados
generalmente se rompen durante el período de prueba.
Utilice un equipo de protección individual. Según sea la aplicación, utilice una
pantalla para la cara, una mascarilla o gafas de seguridad. Según sea el caso,
lleve una mascarilla antipolvo, protecciones para los oídos, guantes y un delantal
capaz de proteger contra los pequeños fragmentos abrasivos de la pieza en
elaboración. La protección ocular debe proteger contra los detritos desprendidos
durante las diferentes operaciones. La mascarilla antipolvo o el respirador deben ser
capaces de filtrar las partículas producidas durante la elaboración. La exposición
prolongada a los ruidos deintensidad elevada puede provocar pérdida de oído.
Mantenga las personas presentes a una distancia de seguridad respecto a la
zonade trabajo. Quienquiera que entre en la zona de trabajo deberá llevar un
equipode protección individual. Algunos fragmentos de la pieza en elaboración o
bien accesorios rotos pueden desprenderse y causar lesiones en las cercanías la
zona de trabajo.
Agarre la herramienta solo por las superficies aisladas mientras se estén
efectuando operaciones en las que el accesorio de corte pueda entrar en
contacto con cables escondidos o bien, con su mismo cable. El contacto entre el
accesorio de corte y un cable "en tensión" podría poner "en tensión" las partes
metálicas expuestas de la herramienta eléctrica y provocar un choque eléctrico al
operador.
Coloque el cable lejos del accesorio de rotación. Si pierde el control, el cable se
podría cortar o bien podría enrollarse con lo cual su mano o su brazo quedarían
atrapados en el accesorio de rotación.
