outstanding simplicity and quality. It distinguishes counterfeit banknotes from genuine ones. It detects
banknote features such as magnetic ink, metal thread and UV characteristics. This machine is the latest
anti-counterfeit machine and uses the most advanced technologies available.

2. Operating the machine
Open the battery lid on the back and place 3 AAA Batteries.
1. Turn on the power switch
2. Insert the banknote as pictured below (with the watermark on the right hand side), when inserted correctly a
beep will sound.
3. Pull the note through the machine horizontally to the right at a medium speed.
4. When the note is genuine, the currency indicator will flash, when the note is false the “On” indicator will flash
and you will hear a warning sound.

NOTES:
• Auto switch off: The machine automatically switches to standby mode after 5 minutes (you do need to switch
off with the power switch as the machine is still using power in standby mode)
• If the blue light is blinking, the batteries need to be changed
• To avoid detection errors, please tidy up the notes and do not test the following notes:
A. Seriously dirty notes
B. Torn, fragmentary notes
C. Notes stuck together with sticky tape or other adhesive.
3. Maintenance
Clean all the sensors in the machine regularly, as described below: (See figure 3)
A.Remove the upper cover carefully.
B.Clean the dust on the surface of the sensors with the clean brush, or a cotton tip with alcohol.
C Reinstall the upper cover
Do not take out the sensors or try to disassemble product.

Dank u voor de aanschaf van de Safescan 85 Valsgeld Detector. U heeft een uitermate gebruiksvriendelijk
en qualitatief product gekocht. Het onderscheidt valse bankbiljetten van echte. Het detecteerd unieke
bankbiljet kenmerken zoals magnetische inkt, UV kenmerken en de metaaldraad. Dit apparaat is de meest
“up to date” valsgeld detector en gebruikt de meest geavanceerde technologieën die op dit moment
beschikbaar zijn.

2. Gebruik van de machine
Open de batterijklep aan de achterkant en plaats 3 AAA batterijen.
1. Zet het apparaat aan men de aan/uit schakelaar.
2. Plaats het biljet zoals hieronder afgebeeld in het apparaat (met het watermerk aan de rechter kant),
wanneer het biljet correct geplaatst is hoort u een korte toon.
3. Trek het biljet horizontaal rustig naar rechts.
4. Wanneer het een echt biljet is licht de valuta indicator op.
5. Wanneer het biljet vals is zal de ‘ON’ indicator gaan knipperen en hoort u een waarschuwingssignaal

Opmerkingen:
• Automatisch uitschakelen: het apparaat schakelt zich automatisch uit na 5 minuten (u moet het apparaat na
gebruik wel uitschakelen met de schakelaar want het gebruikt in de standby mode nog steeds energie)
• Als het blauwe lampje knippert, moeten de batterijen vervangen worden.
• Om detectiefouten te voorkomen dient u de biljetten voor gebruik eerst netjes te maken. Test niet de
volgende biljetten:
A. Zeer vuile biljetten
B. Gescheurde of delen van biljetten
C. Gerepareerde biljetten
3. Onderhoud
Maak alle sensoren van het apparaat regelmatig schoon zoals hieronder beschreven (zie figuur 3)
A. Verwijder de bovenste klep voorzichtig.
B. Maak de sensoren stofvrij met een kwast of met een wattenstaafje met alcohol.
C. Plaats de bovenste klep voorzichtig terug.
Verwijder de sensoren niet en probeer niet het apparaat uit elkaar te halen.

Öffnen Sie die Batterieklappe auf der Rückseite und legen Sie 3 AAA Batterien ein.
1. Schalten Sie den Netzschalter ein.
2. Legen Sie die Banknoten wie unten dargestellt ein (mit dem Wasserzeichen auf der rechten Seite);
wenn diese richtig eingelegt sind, ertönt ein akustisches Signal.
3. Ziehen Sie die Banknote mit mittlerer Geschwindigkeit horizontal durch das Gerät zur rechten Seite.
4. Wenn der Geldschein echt ist, leuchtet die währung Anzeige auf, wenn der Schein falsch ist,
leuchtet das rote Licht auf und hören Sie ein Warnsignal.

HINWEISE:

3. WARTUNG
Reinigen Sie alle Sensoren im Gerät regelmäßig, wie unten beschrieben: (Siehe Abb. 3)
A. Entfernen Sie das obere Gehäuse vorsichtig.
B. Entfernen Sie den Staub auf der Oberfläche der Sensoren mit einem sauberen Pinsel oder mit einem in
Alkohol getränkten Wattestäbchen.
C. Bringen Sie das obere Gehäuse wieder an
Nehmen Sie die Sensoren nicht heraus und versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät zu zerlegen.

simplicité et de qualité. Il est capable de faire la distinction entre les faux billets et les authentiques.
Il détecte les particularités d’un billet de banque telles que l’encre magnétique, le fil métallique et ses
caractéristiques UV. Cette machine est la plus récente des machines anti faux billets et utilise les techno-
logies les plus avancées actuellement connues.

2. Fonctionnement de la machine
Ouvrez le couvercle de batterie au dos et introduisez 3 piles AAA.
1. Actionnez l’interrupteur d’alimentation.
2. Introduisez le billet de banque comme sur l’image ci-dessous (le filigrane du côté droit), après une introduction
correcte, un bip se fera entendre.
3. Tirez horizontalement le billet de banque à travers la machine vers la droite à une vitesse moyenne.
4. Si le billet est authentique, la lumière de devices se mettra à clignoter, si le billet est faux la lumière rouge
clignotera et vous entendrez un son d’avertissement.

REMARQUES:
• Extinction automatique: La machine commute automatiquement au mode veille après 5 minutes (Il vous faut
l’éteindre pas par l’interrupteur d’alimentation car l’appareil continue à consommer du courant en mode veille)
• Si la lumière bleue clignote, les piles doivent être changées
• Pour éviter des erreurs de détection, veuillez SVP nettoyer les billets et ne testez pas les billets suivants:
A. Des billets très sales
B. Des billets déchirés ou en lambeaux
C. Des billets reconstitués par du ruban adhésif ou tout autre adhésif.
3. Entretien
Nettoyez régulièrement toutes les sondes de la machine, comme décrit ci-dessous: (Voir figure 3)
A. Retirez délicatement le couvercle supérieur.
B. Enlevez la poussière sur la surface des sondes à l’aide d’une brosse propre ou une tige de coton
trempé dans l’alcool.
C. Replacez le couvercle supérieur.
N’enlevez pas les sondes et ne tentez pas de démonter ce produit.

2. Utilización de la máquina
Abra la tapa de las pilas en la parte trasera e introduzca 3 pilas AAA.
1. Encienda el interruptor de puesta en marcha.
2. Introduzca el billete como se indica en la ilustración inferior (con la marca de agua a mano derecha),
cuando esté introducido correctamente sonará un bip.
3. Deslice el billete en la máquina de manera horizontal hacia la derecha a una velocidad media.
4. Cuando el billete es auténtico parpadeará la luz modernidad y cuando es falso parpadeará la luz roja y oirá

Aprire il coperchio dello scomparto portabatterie sul lato posteriore e montare 3 batterie AAA.
1. Commutare su ON l’interruttore di alimentazione.
2. Inserire le banconote come illustrato di seguito (con la filigrana su lato destro). Se l’inserimento è effettuato
correttamente, viene generato un segnale acustico.
3. Spingere la banconota orizzontalmente attraverso l’apparecchio verso destra, usando una velocità media.
4. Se la banconota è legale, il LED valute lampeggia. Se è falsa, il LED rosso lampeggia e viene generato un
segnale acustico di avvertimento.

• Disattivazione automatica: l’apparecchio passa automaticamente allo stato di standby dopo 5 minuti
(non è necessario commutare su OFF l’interruttore di alimentazione in quanto l’apparecchio continua a usare
corrente in modalità di standby)
• Se ilLED blu lampeggia, è necessario cambiare le batterie
• Per evitare errori durante la rilevazione, tendere le banconote e non sottoporre a test le seguenti banconote:
A. Banconote molto sporche
B. Banconote strappate e non integre
C. Banconote incollate con nastro adesivo o altro tipo di materiale adesivo.
3. MANUTENZIONE
Pulire i sensori della macchina a intervalli regolari, conformemente a quanto indicato di seguito (cfr. Fig. 3):
A. Rimuovere con cautela il coperchio superiore.
B. Eliminare la polvere dalla superficie dei sensori servendosi di una spazzola pulita o di un
bastoncino in cotone imbevuto d’alcol.
C. Applicare nuovamente il coperchio.
Non asportare I sensori e non tentare di smontare l’apparecchio.

2. Funcionamento da máquina
Abra a tampa do compartimento das pilhas na parte traseira e coloque 3 pilhas AAA.
1. Ligue o interruptor ligar/desligar
2. Insira a nota como indicado abaixo (com a marca de água do lado direito), será emitido um som de aviso
quando a nota tiver sido inserida correctamente.
3. Puxe a nota para a direita pela máquina, horizontalmente, a uma velocidade média.
4. Quando a nota é verdadeira, a luz fica intermitente; quando a nota é falsa, a luz vermelha fica intermitente e
ouve um som de aviso.

NOTAS:
• Paragem automática: a máquina passa automaticamente para o modo standby após 5 minutos (para a desligar,
tem que o fazer com o interruptor ligar/desligar, pois a máquina ainda gasta energia no modo standby)
• Se a luz azul estiver a piscar, as pilhas devem ser substituídas
• Para evitar erros de detecção, as notas têm que estar dispostas correctamente, não devendo testar as
seguintes notas:
A. Notas bastante sujas
B. Notas rasgadas, fragmentadas
C. Notas coladas com fi ta adesiva ou outros materiais adesivos.
3. Manutenção
Limpe regularmente todos os sensores da máquina, como descrito a seguir: (ver figura 3)
A. Remova a tampa superior com cuidado.
B. Limpe o pó na superfície dos sensores com a escova limpa ou um cotonete com álcool.
C Volte a montar a tampa superior.
Não retire os sensores nem tente desmontar o produto.
