Mopas Lite
Introduction
Thank you for using the SafetyTracer system. We have developed this application with the greatest
care to enable you to sound the alarm when necessary. Unfortunately, despite all precautions, you
may nd yourself in a situation where you need help. SafetyTracer helps in such situations. You
simply inform others and thus call in help. This manual has been designed with the greatest care.
Should there nevertheless be any imperfections in it or should you have any other improvements
or remarks, we would like to hear from you.

Please read these safety and user instructions carefully before using the Mopas Lite. Keep this
owner’s guide for reference when necessary.

Safety precautions
For the correct and safe installation and use of the Mopas Lite, it is essential that you observe the
generally accepted safety measures in addition to the additional safety information in this manual.
Additional warnings and safety notes are included in this manual where applicable. Warnings and
safety phrases and/or symbols are marked on the equipment as necessary.

Important safety notes:
• Read all safety instructions and manuals carefully before using.

• All warnings on the equipment and in the manuals must be followed for personal safety
reasons.
• Never clean the Mopas Lite with liquid or aerosol cleaners, but use a damp cloth to clean.
• Do not connect equipment other than that recommended by SafetyTracer portal. Failure to
follow the recommendations may result in malfunctioning of equipment and systems.
• Do not place the equipment in humid or outdoor areas without additional protection if it is not
expressly designated for that purpose.
• Do not expose the equipment to extreme temperatures or humidity.
• Do not expose the equipment to strong magnetic and electromagnetic elds.
• Do not place the equipment on an unstable or vibratory surface.
• Do not place heavy objects on the equipment.
• Avoid violent shocks during transportation.
• The equipment may only be powered by a power supply that conforms to the equipment
specication.
• Opening or removing the housing can touch live parts.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the equipment by yourself. Maintenance and repair work
must be carried out by suciently trained and qualied personnel.
3. Use
Before you can use the Mopas Lite, you must follow the steps below. Check that the supplied SIM
card is inserted correctly into the Mopas Lite.
Micro-USB cable charging
Insert the micro USB plug of the side adapter
into the Mopas Lite. Then plug the adapter into
the wall socket.
Magnetic USB cable charging
Optionally, a magnetic USB cable can be sup-
plied. This magnetic USB cable makes it easier
for the user to charge the Mopas Lite. Insert the
magnetic USB cable into the Mopas Lite and
“click” the charger magnetically to the Mopas
Lite.

Attention!
The supplied SIM card only works in this specic Mopas Lite that is supplied to you. If the
SIM card is used in combination with another device. Then the SIM card is automatically
blocked and unusable. The Mopas Lite will also no longer alarm after it has been replaced
in the Mopas Lite. If this happens, please contact your partner who supplied the Mopas
Lite.
Charging
For rst use, the Mopas Lite needs to be charged for 2-3 hours. Charging the device is done as
follows:

Battery status
Red light on, this means that the device is charging. The blue light is on continuously, here the
device is fully charged. Without intensive use of the device, the battery will last for about 2 days.
4. Alarmeren
To create an alarm, press the SOS alarm button. The alarm button should have two seconds to ac-
tivate the alarm. To conrm that you have set the alarm, a sound will be produced. Also, the device
will vibrate for a short time.
As long as an alarm has not been accepted and handled by a caretaker, the Mopas Lite will remain
in alarm mode. In this alarm phase, no new alarm call is possible.
The alarm is sent from the Mopas Lite tot he Mopas Cloud Monitoring System, which then forwards
it tot he care provider(s). The care provider can then set up a speech/listening connection with the
Mopas Lite. A conversation can then be held as with a normal telephone. When the care provider
calls the Mopas Lite, a conversation is established immediately.
A conversation between the care provider and you is only possible if you have pressed the alarm
button. In all other cases the Mopas Lite cannot be contacted by telephone
5. Incoming calls
Incoming calls can be answered by pressing a button on the front of the device. Except for the on/
o button, it is used to reject a call. When the power button is pressed briey, the time will be read
by the device.
By default, the Mopas Lite is delivered with the option Automatic Answer on on. This means that
an incoming call to verify an alarm call will be automatically answered by Mopas Lite is answered.
When an incoming call comes in, the Mopas Lite will vibrate and make a short sound to alert the
user to the incoming call. After that Once this has happened, the user of the Mopas Lite can talk to
his caregiver.
Optionally, the Automatic answer function can be disabled.
6. Status overview Mopas Lite
The Mopas Lite has two lights at the front. One red and one blue. Below a description of the most
common combinations.
