Field Test
Quick Guide
Selecting a Test
1. Press , then press .
2. Press to select Test.
3. Use the andkeys to locate the
desired test, then use the numeric keypad
to select the test.
[Note: “< …. >” denotes last selection]
Entering Information
4. Enter the phone number under test,
then press .
5. Enter your name or ID, then press ..
6. Enter the number from the service order
or trouble ticket, then press ..
Connecting to the Phone Line
7. Connect the 925VST to the line being tested.

Selecting a Responder
8. Use the and keys to locate the
desired test line responder phone number.

responder phone number.

Lists to preset responder phone numbers]
9. Press to select the responder and to
begin the test.
Completing the Test
Test Aborted displays when
communication with the responder fails.
Check the connection between the
925VST and the line under test, then try
again.
Test Failed displays when some of the test
results fall outside test limits or responder
does not connect.
All Tests Passed displays when all test
results are within test limits.
