9. Once the numbers shown above are entered into the controller, press the power button several times while pointing remote at the
indoor unit.
- Samsung CAC single zone systems (AC0**JNHDCH/AA, AC0**JN4DCH/AA, AC0**KNLDCH/AA) have an option to turn the fan
off once set temperature has been reached in Thermo OFF)while in cooling mode.
- This option should only be enabled when sensing room temperature externally via wired controller or external temperature sensor
(MRW-TA).
- Enabling this option requires adjusting the 24 segment factory option code. The technician must add 8 to the current value of
segment 23 of factory option code (0→8, 1→9, 2→A, 3→B, 4→C, 5 →D, 6→E, 7→F).
- Example: the factory option code for AC018FN4DCH/AA 4-way cassette is 0140EF-1950D8-27343B-370005. To enable the reduced
fan operation option, the new option code will be 0140EF-1950D8-27343B-370085.
- Factory option codes are different for each indoor unit model number (model specific). This 24 segment code can be adjusted
with a wired controller, wireless controller, or with SNET Pro 2 service software.
Changing segment 23 with a wireless controller
When only enabling this feature (not entering the entire 24 segment code) on an indoor unit that has a wireless IR receiver, the
single option setting feature can be used. Below are the steps required to only change segment 23 with a wireless controller when
segment 23 is "0" from the factory and is being changed to "8". At this time all current CAC indoor units will require segment 23 to be
"8" to enable this feature (full option codes can be found on pages 3 and 4 of this document).
1. To enter service mode, remove the batteries and wait for the screen to go blank. While holding the temperature up and down buttons,
replace the batteries.
2. Press the FAN DOWN button to adjust the segment on the left. Press FAN DOWN until the first segment on the screen is "d".
3. Press the FAN UP button to adjust the segment on the right. Press FAN UP once to make the left segment "1".
4. Press MODE to advance to the next page (noted by "Auto", "Cool", and "Dry").
5. Press the FAN DOWN button to adjust the segment on the left. Press FAN DOWN until the first segment on the screen is "2".
6. Press the FAN UP button to adjust the segment on the right. Press FAN UP to make the left segment "3".
7. Press MODE to advance to the next page (noted by "Auto", "Cool", and "Dry").8. Press the FAN DOWN button to adjust the segment on
the left. Press FAN DOWN until the first segment on the screen is "8".
10.Remove the batteries form the controller. After the controller display goes blank, replace the batteries and cover for normal
operation.

Using MWR-WE10N premium wired controller
1. Hold SET and ESC for 5 seconds to enter service settings mode.
2. Press the up arrow button, select Main Menu 4.
3. Press the right arrow button to advance.
4. Press the up arrow button to select sub menu 2.
5. Press the right arrow to advance.
6. Enter the option code into the data bit section using the up, down, and right arrow buttons. The up and down arrows
will change the data bit that is flashing. To only change the 23rd segment to enable reduce fan operation in cool
mode, press the right arrow until the 23rd segment is flashing. Press up until this segment is "8".

Once entered, press SET to save.
Press ESC twice to exit the settings section.
Option code programming with a wired controller
If a wired controller is connected, option code programming can be done via service mode. The example below explains how to modify an
option code using MWR-WE10N. When using other wired controller models, refer to the wired controller installation manual for full indoor
unit programming instructions.
Example: AC018JN4DCH/AA indoor unit option code segment 23 change using MWR-WE10N
