Installation Agreement

the installation. The installation should then be completed within 1½ hours of our engineers gaining unrestricted
access to the site.

Any work surface and sub structure must be strong enough to sustain the weight of the
Espresso machine, grinder and all associated equipment, and sturdy enough not to move
when machine operation is taking place.
A 75mm diameter hole is required beneath the espresso machine position for water feed
and waste pipes (and also for power if fed from underneath the counter). Where
possible, this should be predrilled prior to the machine installation.
Our technicians are only authorised to drill access holes through timber worktops. We
do not have the means to drill through the following surfaces: Stainless Steel, Ceramics,
Granite, Stone, Marble, Glass, Corian etc.
A potable (drinkable) cold water supply at a pressure of between 2 bar and 4 bar
terminating in a dedicated standard washing machine isolation valve (¾” BSP) directly
under machine location. A pressure reducing valve (PRV) will be required for water
pressures above 4 bar
Our technicians CANNOT tap into, or ‘T’ off an existing cold water supply.
All machines must be fitted with an appropriate water filter/softener to validate
warranty. This should be replaced at least every 12 months by one of our technicians.
In addition to prolonging the life of your espresso machine, a filter will enhance the
quality and taste of the drinks it produces.

terminates inside:
A 250mm up-stand directly below machine location with trap/U-bend.
If no waste drainage is available, an alternative would be to run the waste into a bucket
or water carrier which, to avoid overflow and back flooding of coffee machine, must be
emptied regularly and maintained at a level below the waste pipe outlet.
Please note that the space underneath the machine counter should be exclusively for
the coffee machine services and therefore, should not be used for bar equipment such
as under-counter fridges, etc.
