Digital Thermometer Model PC-3300
(for Refrigerator)
Thank you for purchasing the PC-3300 Digital Thermometer.
- This product is designed to measure inside temperature of a refrigerator.
Do not use it for other purposes.
- Read this manual thoroughly before using the PC-3300. Keep the manual in
a safe place for future reference whenever necessary.

How to use
Please have the unit adapt to the measurement environment for at least
30 minutes before using.
1. Displaying the Current Temperature
 When the external probe is not connected, the temperature around the
unit is displayed.
 When the external connected is connected, the unit automatically
displays the temperature reading detected by the external sensor.
2. Displaying the MAX/MIN Temperature
The MAX & MIN temperature readings are displayed all the time.
The MAX/MIN memory starts by following situations.
 Load or replace the battery
 Press the RESET key (Previous MAX/MIN memory will be deleted.)
Note: The MAX/MIN memory is kept even if the external probe is removed
or connected. To clear the previous data, press the RESET key.
(1) Use of internal sensor
The main unit can be used in a refrigerator that its inside temperature
is -5˚C or higher. Do not use the main unit in lower than -5˚C state.
Secure the protective cap into the sensor jack at that time.
(2) Use of external probe
By using the external probe, it is possible to check
the inside temperature of a refrigerator from
outside.
Put the external probe inside through the gap of the
refrigerator door hinge as shown in the picture.
Note: The probe cord is delicately made. Carefully
handle it not to break the wire.

Error Messages
When the temperature is out of measuring range, the display will show
“HH” or “LL”. In that case, take the probe away from the measuring area
and stop the measurement for one minute, then press the RESET key to
return normal s.
3. Replacing Battery
When the ‘˚C’ mark on the display blinks, it is time to replace the battery.
(1) Use a coin to open the battery lid and remove the exhausted battery.
(2) Wait for about 5 minutes. Do not replace it with a new one immediately.
(3) Install a new battery (LR44) with the “+” mark on the battery facing up.
(4) Close and secure the battery lid.
Note: If the display does not return to normal, repeat the procedure (1) to (4),
but be sure to leave it 5 minutes or more after removing the battery.
4. Cautions
 Avoid direct contact with water.
 Do not insert the external probe in water.
 Do not bend or forcibly pull the cord.
 Do not stick the external probe into any solid material.
 Never disassemble or alter the unit to avoid malfunctions.
 Do not dispose used batteries in fire.
 For environmental conservation, dispose used batteries in compliance with
local rules and regulations.
 Do not clean the thermometer with alcohol, thinner or any other solvents.
When the thermometer is stained, clean with a soft and dry cloth or a clean
cloth moistened with neutral detergent water.
 Do not use the thermometer out of the temperature range.
