LOCK
MODE
The lock mode is particularly useful for continuous monitoring of temperatures. The thermometer will continuously
display the temperature for up to 60 minutes or until the Meas.(infrared) key button is pressed.
To utilize the lock mode, please press Meas.(infrared) key Mode key *three timesMeas.(infrared) key.

To change the ‘oC’ or ‘oF’ mode, please press Meas.(infrared) key Mode key *four timesMeas.(infrared) key.
Same steps can be taken when switching from oF to oC.
EMISSI

ITY
The infrared thermometer is supplied with a default emissivity of 0.95. The emissivity can be changed from 0.10 (10E)
to 1 (100E). Changes should only be carried out by experienced personnel. For information relating to the emissivity
of specific materials, please contact the nearest retailer. Note: non-contact infrared thermometers are not
recommended for use in measuring the temperature of shiny or polished metals.
To change the emissivity, please Meas.(infrared) key Mode key *five timesMeas.(infrared) key for each 0.01
(1E) adjustmentMode key.

Co
nnect the thermocouple with Thermocouple socket and put the probe in/on the target. Press Scan key to
continuo
usly display the temperature for up to 4 minutes. After that the device will automatically shut off to extend the
battery l
ife. Press Scan key will interrupt the scanning to display the last temperature with a 'Hold' wording. To reenter
s
canning just press Scan key again.
After measure high temp, the probe may remain HOT for a while.
The measure range is for thermometer only. User should choose proper probe types for different kinds
of application. Please make sure the target to be measured will not exceed the temperature range of
the probe to avoid permanent damage of the thermocouple probe.
To avoid electric shock and thermometer damage, do not measure live circuit where voltage exceeding
24V AC RMS or 60V DC with the thermocouple probe.

It should be stored at room temperature. The sensor lens is the most delicate part of the thermometer. The lens
should be kept clean at all times, care should be taken when cleaning the lens using only a soft cloth or cotton swab
with water or medical alcohol, allowing the lens to fully dry before using the thermometer. Do not submerge any part
of the thermometer.

The thermometer is a non-contact infrared thermometer, also with Probe thermometer. You can
select only one Mode at the same time but can change the Mode at will. Please remember to keep
away from baby and children and don’t use it for safety related applications.
