Procedure: AC POWER LABEL MODIFICATIONS
Description: AC POWER LABELS MAY BE APPLIED INCORRECTLY
PURPOSE: To inspect and possibly correct misapplied labels on AC power cables. Some gyros up to
serial number 9 0050 may have been incorrectly labelled at the factory. It is important to label and
connect the power input and seawater pump power output cables correctly.

1. Inspect AC power input and output cable labels on the Drive Box and compare these to the figure
below.
Label on Seawater Pump cable end Label on AC Input Power cable end
2. If these AC power cable labels are not in the correct positions as shown, carefully remove them and
reapply correctly.

3. If these AC power cables are not connected as described, isolate from AC power source, then
connect properly.
WARNING !
If AC power cables are not connected correctly to
Seakeeper Motor Drive Box, damage will occur to
the Motor Drive Box when first operated.
