PINCHROLLERPRESSURECHECK
1. Placetheunitinplaybackmode.
2.Pushthepinchroller,atthepointshowninFigure 8—4,
byusinga tensiongauge(500g)sothatitwillcomeoff
the capstan. Then, slowly release the tension until the
pinchrollerhitsthecapstanagain(i.e.,thepinchrolleris
abouttorotateagain).Check,then,thetensiongaugeis
reading270g to370g.
3. If thereadingisoutsidetherangeof270g to370g,
replacethepressurespringofthepinchroller.
Notes:
In playback mode,makesurethattheclearance(g)andthe
clearance(g)aremorethan0.2mmandmorethan0.1mm
respectively.Nextinpausemode,makesurethatthe
clearance© ismorethan0.3 mm.
TAPESPEEDADJUSTMENT
AsshowninFigure 8—5, makeconnectionofinstrument,
puta screwdriver(forhigh-frequencyuse)intotheholeof
themotor,andadjustthevariableresistorsothatthe
outputfrequencyis2960to2985Hzonfrequencycounter.
RECORD/PLAYBACKHEADAZIMUTHADJUSTMENT
AsshowninFigure 8—6, makeconnectionofinstrument,
andadjusttheheadazimuthadjustingscrewsothatthe
outputsignalsfrombothchannelswillhavemaximum
