lmportonl: Fixlures on o seriol doto link musl be doisy chqined in one single line. To comply with ihe
EIA-485 slondord no more lhon 30 devices should be connecled on one dolo link.
Connecling more ihon 30 fixlures on one seriol dolo link wilhoul ihe use of o DMX oplicolly
isoloted spliller moy resuli in deteriorotion of the digilol DMX signol.

DMX Addlessing
The conirol ponel on ihe fronl side of ihe bose ollows you lo ossign the DMX fixlure oddress, which is the
firsl chonnel from which lhe Phonlom will respond lo ihe controller.
Pleose noie when you use the conlroller, lhe unii hos l3 chonnels.
When using muliiple Phonioms, moke sure you sei the DMX oddresses righl.
Therefore, lhe DMX oddress of lhe firsi Phonioms should be l(001);lhe DMX oddress of the second
Phontom
should be l+13=14 (014); ihe DMX oddress of lhe third Phonlom should be 14+13=27 (O27), elc.
Pleose, be sure thol you don't hove ony overlopping chonnels in order to conTrol eoch Phonlom
coneclly.
lf lwo or more Phonloms ore oddressed similorly, they will work similorly.
For oddress seftings, pleose refer to the inslructions under "Addressing'.
Conlrolling:
Afler hoving oddressed oll Phoniom fixiures, you moy now slorl operoting lhese vio your lighiing
conlroller.
Note: Afier switching on, the Phoniom will ouiomoiicolly deteci wheiher DMX 512 doto is received or
noi. lf lhere is no doto received ot the DMx-input, the "tED " on lhe conlrol ponel will nol flosh.
The problem moy be:
- The XLR coble from the coniroller is noi connecled with the input of the Phontom.
- The controller is swilched off or defeciive, the cqble or connecior is deiective, or lhe signol wires ore
swopped in lhe input conneclor.
Nole: ll's necessory to inserl o XLR lerminqtion plug (with 120 Ohm) in the losl fixture in order 10 ensure
proper ironsmission on the DMX doto link.
