1. Get to know your Silk'n Titan
Silk’nTitanisapowerfulelectricaldevice.Assuch,itshouldbeusedwithspecial
attentiontosafety. Beforeusingthedevice forthersttime,be sure toreadall
warnings,contraindicationsandsafetyprecautions.Itisimportantthatyouread
andunderstandtheinstructionsonhowtousethedeviceincludingafter-use
procedures,andfollowthemstrictly.Werecommendyoure-familiarizeyourself
with the instructions before treatment.

1.2 Device description
Silk'n Titan is a face treatment device which utilizes RT technology. This
technologycombinesthreekindsofenergy:InfraredRadiation(IR)thataects
theupperlayerofskinforimprovedskintexture,LowLevelLaserTherapy(LLLT)
that reaches into the dermis for rejuvenation and collagen restoration, and
focusedBi-PolarRadioFrequencyenergy(Bi-PolarRF)fordeeptissuetightening
and wrinkle reduction.
The device has a treatment surface (#1) with three electrodes (#2) and a start
button (#3) with ve surrounding energy level indicator lights (#4).
Refer to the diagram at the front of this manual to see the package contents
and the location of each feature on the device.
1.3 Intended use
Silk’n Titan is an over the counter hand-held device intended for temporary
reduction in the appearance of mild to moderate facial wrinkles and skin
tightening.The device is intended for self-treatment in the home. Do not use
for any purpose other than as described in this manual.

2. Safety with Silk'n Titan
With Silk'n Titan safety comes rst
Silk’nTitancomeswithathermalsensordesignedtomeasureskintemperature
andstabilizetheemittedheatenergy.Topreventoverheating,auniquebuilt-in
heat stabilizer inside Silk’nTitan measures the treated skin temperature during
session. As a risein the treated skin temperatureisdetected (41°C to 43°C), the
stabilizer will automatically stopemitting energyuntil skintemperature lowers
enough for the stabilizer to resume heating.
3. Contraindications & warnings
Besuretoreadthissectioncarefullyandtakenoteofthewarnings
andcontraindications.

This device must not be used by the following people:
children,adultswithlimitedphysical,sensoryorpsychological
capacities,orthoselackingexperienceorknowledgeinhow
to use the device. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the device.
Do not use Silk'n Titan if you:

Haveapacemaker,internaldebrillator,oranyotheractive
electrical implant anywhere in the body.

Poorly controlled endocrine disorders, such as diabetes
and thyroid conditions.
E
Abnormalskinconditionscausedbydiabetes,systemicor
other metabolic diseases.
EAre pregnant or nursing.

Do not treat areas that have:
EA permanent implant such as metal plates and screws,
silicone implants or areas with injected lls or toxins.

Activeeczema,psoriasis,lesions,openwoundsorinfections
(coldsores),abnormalskinconditionscausedbysystemic
or metabolic diseases (diabetes for example).
EA history of herpes outbreaks.
ETraumatized or injured skin.
KHad recent exposure to the sun without protection (wait
1day);fortannedorsunburntskin(wait3days).
Consult your physician if you have:

A history of diseases stimulated by heat, such as recurrent
herpes simplex in the treatment area. If so you may treat
only following a prophylactic regime.
EReceived radiation therapy or chemotherapy treatments
within the past 3 months, or have areas of potential skin
malignancies.
EUsedphysician-prescribeddrugsonyour skinwithinthe
past 6 months.

Anyotherconditionwhich,intheopinionofyourphysician
or dermatologist, would make it unsafe for you to be
treated.

Additional warnings
A
Alwaysensurethatyourhandsaredrybeforeoperatingthe
device or touching the adapter plug.

Keep your device away from water! Do not use near
bathtubs,showers,basinsorothervesselscontainingwater.
Donotplaceorstorethedevicewhereitcanfall,bepushed
orplacedanywherenearwateroranyotherliquid.Thereisa
risk of electrocution. Unplug immediately and do not reuse.
ERemove all jewelry before treatments.

Use a lower energy level if you experience any discomfort.
EStopuseimmediatelyifyourskinisveryred,orifitblisters
or burns.
ENever leave the device unattended when plugged into
anoutlet.KeeptheAC/DCadapteraccessibleatalltimes,
so it can be removed from the socket easily in case of
emergency. Unplug the device immediately after use.
EDo not carry the device by the AC/DC adapter cable.
EIf the device malfunctions, unplug immediately.
EWhen using the device, do not come into contact with
earthedmetalpartsorpartswithappreciablecapacitance
to earth (for example a metal table, fridge or washing
machine).
EDonotattempttomodify,openorrepairyourSilk'nTitan
device. You may expose yourself to dangerous electrical
components and may cause serious harm to yourself.

4. Do not use Silk'n Titan if:
The plug, attachments or accessories are not recommended by
Home Skinovations Ltd.
The device has a damaged cable or plug. Keep the power cable
away from heated surfaces.
You see or smell smoke when it is in use.
The device is not working properly, or it appears to be damaged.
The device casing is cracked or coming apart.
The device has fallen into water.
In such cases, contact Silk'n Customer Service.
5. What to expect when treating with Silk’n Titan
For many people, using Silk'n Titan may be their rst experience with a heat-
based device designed for home use. During a treatment session it is normal
to experience or feel:
A sensation of warmth: This is from the bi-polar RF energy.
Some redness or slight swelling: This should subside within a
few hours, or up to one day.
EStop use immediately if your skin is very red.
EContact your physician, if you experience any complication.

6. Possible side eects
If you follow the instructions fully and pay attention to all warnings and
contraindications, complications and side eects are uncommon. However
every cosmetic procedure, including those designed for home use, involves
somedegreeofrisk.Thereforeitisimportantthatyouunderstandandaccept
the risks and complications that may occur.
Adverse reaction Risk
Skinredness
Users of couperose (rosacea) may experience dilatation of the
supercial blood capillaries. This may result in some redness for a few
days. Additionally, some capillaries may present red spots that will
also subside with time. In such cases, immediately cool the area with
cold water.
Minor
Swelling
Excessive edema and erythema are rare reaction to the treatment
that in most cases subside within a few days. Immediately use ice to
cool the area for at least 10 minutes and apply anti-burn cream.
Rare
Consult your physician if you experience any persistent symptoms including
pain, skin redness, swelling, or a burning sensation.

7. Before your rst treatment
To use your Silk'n Titan, do these steps:
1. Remove the device and other components from the box.
2. Plug the adaptercable(#5inthediagram)intothedevicesocketandplug
the adapter intoan electricaloutlet.Allenergylevelindicatorlightscycle
repeatedly one aft er the other.
3. Understand how to set energy levels and become familiar with the 6
recommended treatment areas (see the rest of this section).
7.1 Energy levels
Silk’n Titan has 5 levels of energy represented by 5 indicator lights (#4 in the
diagram).Theselectedenergyleveldeterminestheintensityofenergydelivered
toyourskin.
To set an energy level:
1. Press the start button (#3 in the diagram) repeatedly to move between
energies,from1to5andbackto1again.Whenthedesiredenergyisset,
the energy level indicator lights will indicate the level chosen.
2. To return to standby mode, long press the start button. All ve lights will
cycle continuously.
To change to a dierent energy level during a treatment:
Press the start button again. This will change energy level and
allow you to treat the same or dierent areas with dierent
energy levels according to your needs.
If the energy level feels too hot or uncomfortable, try moving the
device more quickly. If the energy level is still too high, go back to
a lower level.
EOnly change energy levels when the device is not in contact with the
skin.

7.2 Treatment areas
There are 6 treatment areas for the face and neck. Please refer to your Quick
Guide.
Treatment Area Purpose

3. Left upper cheek including around the eyes
4. Right lower cheek including the nasolabial fold Tighten and eliminate
wrinkles

Treateachareaseparatelyfor10-15minutes.Youcantreatasmanyareasasyou
like in one session; it's up to you!
For optimum results, we recommend:
2 sessions a week for 10 weeks. By then you will see a change in
skin texture.
After that, treat once every 2 weeks to maintain results.

9. Get started!
You'reonyourwaytoayoungerlook!TreatingwithSilk’nTitaniseasy.Justfollow
these steps for each area you wish to treat.
9.1 Treatment steps
1. Remove all jewelry.
2. Press the start button (#3in the diagram) to turn on the device.The level
1energylevelindicatorlightwill goon.
3. For your rst treatment, start at energy level 1 for a few minutes, then
set an energy level that is comfortable for the area you wish to treat. For
future treatments, you can use an energy level that is comfortable for the
area you wish to treat.
4. Next, spread a thin layer of Silk'n slider gel over the area. Always apply
slider gel (or another water-based clear gel) before you put the
device on your skin.
5. Press the treatment surface (# 1 in the diagram) firmly against your skin.
You will feel a mild sensation of warmth. Move the device in gentle
massage-likelinearmotionsontheareayouwishtotreat.Progressslowly
and carefully. Work each treatment area for 10-15 minutes.
MMake sure the treatment surface is in good contact with
your skin.
6. Immediatelyafterthetreatment,washyourfacetoremoveanygel,then
apply facial lotion or a mask.
9.2 Recommended precautions
Always remove all jewelry before use.
Do not leave the device on one spot. Keep continuous
movement covering the entire treatment area. This will prevent
overheating of the treatment area and reduce the possibility of
any adverse eect.
Make sure the 3 electrodes (#2 in the diagram) are always in full
contact with the skin.

If the energy level feels uncomfortable, move the device more
quickly around the area, or immediately reduce the energy level.
EOnly change energy levels when the treatment surface is not incontact
with the skin.
EStop immediately if you feel any discomfort.
10. Maintenance and storage
It is important to clean your Silk'nTitan device and store it properly after each
treatment.
LUnplug the device.
LTo clean the device and remove any gel, wipe the surface
including the treatment surface with a clean, damp cloth. Use a
cleaning uid with 70% alcohol.
LAfter cleaning, we recommend you store the device in its original
box.

Never immerse your Silk'nTitan or any of its parts in water.
11. Troubleshooting
Do not attempt to open or repair your Silk'nTitan.You may exposure yourself
todangerouselectricalcomponentsandcauseseriousharmtoyourself.Itwill
alsovoidthewarranty.
Problem Checks
My Silk'n Titan does
not start.
Make sure the adapter is properly connected to the
device, that it is plugged into an electrical outlet and
that you have pressed the start button.
Heat energy is not
emitted and I don't
feel any heat from the
device even though I
pressed the start button.
Heat will only be emitted if the treatment surface is in
good contact with your skin, and you have applied
gel before you start your treatment. This is a safety
feature.
